First time going, only reason I went as I was told it was no longer a Wimpy’s restaurant.I was told that the burgers were the best and the fries were not frozen out of a bag, I had to see for myself.I ordered the Tex Mex burger (you will want to request extra napkins right off the hop). Kitschy diner atmosphere. Great service always. Staff is attentive and very friendly. Beatrix is a sweetheart that feels like your Nan or Auntie. Food is really great. Breakfast is always on point. Burgers, OMG, great burgers and fries. Homemade, no fillers not frozen. Definitely recommend, if your local or just popping off the highway. Enjoy a great meal at the Port Hope Diner.
