This hakka style Chinese restaurant offers a variety of food options. The quality of the food is not super delicious, but certainly will not disappoint. We liked the hot and sour soup the most. The spicy garlic chicken was too salty. But they immediately replaced the dish once notified. The service was quick and pleasant, and they have a welcoming atmosphere.
My recent visit to Li's Hakka #1 in Scarborough left me pleasantly surprised. Despite the restaurant being empty when we arrived, it turned out to be a perfect spot for a casual catch-up with friends. I ordered the Bombay Chicken, and my friend opted for the Vegetarian Fried Rice. The Bombay Chicken was a flavor explosion, with a perfect balance of spices that made every bite delightful. Great little spot. Came through based on where I was, and glad I stopped. Hakka spots are judged by chili chicken in my opinion. This one didn’t disappoint. Nice lunch special too.
