“Best donuts I have ever tasted. Fresh, flavourful, and fluffy. The donuts are so light that it's impossible to eat just one. There are so many flavours to choose from which gives you a good excuse to come back for another visit. We tried a number of donuts from the classic flavours: caramel crunch, oreo cookie, cinnamon sugar, and hot chocolate. From the raised donuts the strawberry berlner and raspberry berliner were unbelievable. There is also a nutella berliner for the chocolate hazelnut lovers which I would highly recommend. Highly recommend the fritters as well. We tries the apple and blueberry ones so far. Will have to try the peach one next time.If you prefer vegan donut, call in advance the day before and request them. They'll make the especially for you.The staff is very friendly and gave us great recommendations on which donuts to try. Some donuts are seasonal, so if you really like a flavour make sure to come back before it's gone.Vegetarian options: Vegan options available if ordered in advance“
“Not going to lie. I have been a devotee of Country Fresh (in The Falls) and their wonton soup for as long as I can remember (at least since '97).This wonton soup blows them out of the water. It is not even close. Every 2 weeks (payday), my fiancée and myself have a standing breakfast date, and we like to try new places, but... we're stuck on Mom's.So, we love the #3 Breakfast. And since Thursdays are our night to hang out with friends, we grab a couple of takeout soups for after seeing our friends. For both breakfasts, coffee and 2 extra large soups, I think we paid 50$. Great value. The eggs are properly cooked (ie not runny), the potato wedges are amazing, the bacon is crispy. I literally cannot say enough good things about this place.Seriously fat kids (and not fat kids)... You need need NEED to check this place out.“
“Donuts are increible and very fresh. Totally worth the price. Staff are super friendly and helpful. No WiFi. Limited free parking out. Bus stops nearby. Walking distance to pier and park. Call in advance for custom or large orders. No credit card surcharge.“
“I always go to this restaurant. Today, when I bought my usual breakfast sandwich on a four cheese bagel. I called and let them know there was an unusual problem with the sandwich. The manager rectified the situation right away. customer service is always great here and speedy service.“
“Ample parking is just one more thing since all other merchants are overcharging the public that feeds and puts food to eat and shelter to keep us from the elements that rain down on the homeless. They don't want charity, only a place to put up their feet, eat, and a good night's sleep. While we're all trying to survive and make it through the Pandemic, and repair the economy to begin the process of lowering our deficit, not gouge the less fortunate or just to get by. We are strong, we are resilient, just don't have the same as the White House dinner table, and diamonds for the wealthy. We Work yes, and volunteer but even charity groups were unsuccessfully in remaining afloat. Do you honestly believe gouging your customers, and raising your coffee and food prices was a good business decision?Any business opened or opening to attempt to make up the last three years plus your lost profit from the previous four quarters × 3 years. This sounds more likely the actions of desperate persons in a group of pack rats all running. It's not just one merchant but all who had their businesses end due to the Pandemic.Dietary restrictions: DiabeticParking: No drive-thru“
“Had major headache with my debit card with plenty of people behind me at the drive thru. Was Saved by a sweet redheaded young lady with the patience of Job.Thx for not freakin out.I know you all try hard, work hard and must have sore feet at the end of the day, taking care of our Nummy Nums.Dan-0“
“This store is always very busy as its the only one in the Fourth Avenue corridor. The cafe is usually very clean although the odd time they have been so busy that the staff didn't get a chance to clean tables or empty garbage receptacles. The staff give very efficient service. One of the managers goes out of her way to help customers. I had one small issue a few months ago with a drink and she replaced it without question or charge. When I'm in this part of the city, I usually stop in.“
“This is a great place. I love hanging out here. But only inside. There are to many dirty drug addict, homeless people outside walking around thru the parking lot. Some are not very polite and cross in front of our cars without looking and cause us to almost hit them. I have even seen some ask for money from your patrons. I have been asked myself. But this so far hasn't stopped from using the drive-thru.Wheelchair accessibility: Available spots“
“Some of the Donuts are delicious best i ever had however some of the donuts were very old, for example the long john and sprinkle donuts were tough and falling apart while the cream inside was minimal and turned to a liquid almost. lady serving was nice enough but not very enthusiastic and it was very hard to choose because there is no labeling on the donuts ive seen other reviews having same reviews with freshness aswell and it kinda seems like luck of the draw to me. If they are ensured fresh and added labels would be a 5 star“
“I haven't had a donut in years (limited vegan options where I live). A coworker told me to stop by Beechwood on my way to Toronto. Amazing! The chocolate cheesecake melted in my mouth. Earl Grey was a delightful twist to a "regular" glazed donut. I'll be back!“
