“Since New Year’s Eve is a busy day for any restaurant, we decided to order our food ahead of time and have it delivered. I put the order in at around 9:30am. One of the items we ordered was the stir fry chicken and snow peas. I got a call as soon as they opened to let me know that they were sorry but they couldn’t make the item. I was actually at work and they called 5 times trying to get a hold of me. I ended up getting something else. Not only was the food great, as it always is, but what awesome customer service! I would recommend Blue Sky Garden Restaurant anytime“
“Loved the food. Only thing that i didn't like was the egg rolls. They went with the cheap brand because it had cabbage in it and I dislike cabbage in my egg rolls. A good chinese restaurant does not use these. If i want egg rolls with cabbage I'd buy them at the store. SO disappointed in them I really like to go again but egg rolls are must and if they don't have good quality ones then I am done going here. It was cold inside as well.....“
“Never disappoints….There is no place in all of Windsor/Essex that comes close to the value and quality of Thai dishes that Vangs’ produces. We order and you must try:“House special noodle”“Vangs noodle”“Gang pha”“Gang Garee”(Not sure if those are spelled correctly)“
“We ordered food for delivery on a Friday night from the Windsor location. The lemon chicken was pretty good, but the chicken fried rice was very plain with bean sprouts, a sprinkle of chopped green onion, egg and tiny bits of chicken in it. All 3 dishes were almost the same colour. The Shanghai noodles were very disappointing. The picture on their website shows this dish with red pepper and green vegetables in it…our dish had only cheap cabbage. I had eaten at their Niagara Falls location only 2 weeks ago and was so impressed with it that I ordered it here. I guess next time I will have to ask for this dish to be prepared the same way they do for their buffet. Food arrived hot and in less time than expected.“
“Ordered takeout from this restaurant about a half dozen times when we visit family on this side of town. They always get the order right and it is hot and ready for the pick up time that we ask for. Their family dinners are a great variety. Also love the mixed vegetables with shrimp and/or chicken dishes. Always fresh.“
“The best Chinese food in the city . I live west but I travel to the east just for their food. It’s like their Chinese food is premium top tier compared to others . They have nice portions of food . You have a choice of shrimp, chicken or vegetable fried rice with no upcharge. Every meal come with a shrimp egg roll( nice size) . But Christmas Eve I came in got the number 6 I believe which is the pepper steak in rice with extra broccoli. In this is the day that I have to discontinue coming here I received food poisoning which I am still recovering from. I’m really sad about this because I can no longer eat Chinese food because I am scared. But I will say out of 6 years of eating here they have the best service and best Chinese food I’ve ever had . I will still recommend but b cautious .Vegetarian options: Vegetable fried rice is really good. The vegetable soup also very good.“
“Solid neighborhood American-style Chinese food at a reasonable price. Food is always tasty and fresh. We're not a huge fan of the flavor-profile on the egg rolls, but that's more of a taste preference than a real complaint. The staff is very friendly and pick up time given is always accurate.“
“The crispy shrimp balls, chicken skewers and gyoza were so good. The shrimp balls were my favorite and the dipping sauces were both so tasty. Even my bf that was full from dinner earlier was stealing bites of my crispy shrimp balls, then happily ate the gyoza and chicken skewers when they came out. Jasmine is so friendly and was so happy to hear that we enjoyed her food. I'm looking forward to trying more items from their rotating menu!“
“Emma, Megan (sp?) and their staff are exceptional. Friendly, funny and welcoming. Megan has an uncanny ability to remember your favourite dish, or any dietary restrictions. They easily accommodated our party of 25 for our mom's 90th birthday celebration. We have never been disappointed with Pomegranate.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp in the entrance, allowing easy access for walkers or wheelchairs.“
“The food here is delicious. Very clean, friendly environment. The new owner and chef cooks absolutely amazing food. I will be back to order here anytime I want Chinese food. Highly recommend to anyone looking for yummy authentic Chinese food.“
“Clean diner style although small dining area. Always quick, hot and plenty of good food, decent prices. Our go-to for Asian food.Parking: There is usually parking behind the building although there isn't a lot. If the lot is full, the driving room is likely to be full too.Dietary restrictions: Always willing to make gluten-free substitutions, etc.“
“The food was served quickly. Egg rolls were nice and crisp. Good size chicken in the sweet and sour chicken balls. Overall very good experience. This is also my go to for home delivery. Highly recommend. I've been enjoying this place for over 20 years.“
“Very tasty take-out. The ABC was very crispy with perfectly cooked interior. You get an entire package of pancakes with the moo shoo, so you don't need to order more. I am used to only getting three with an order - so super kudos. Looking forward to trying more dishes next time we are in town.“
“This is easily our new favorite. We have come a few times for dine in and take out, and every time it has been extremely quick to place our order and to get our food. The food comes out hot and you can taste the freshness in every bite. You can tell the veggies are very fresh as well from the color and the crispness. There is tons of flavor as well. Very reasonably priced for their combos for the amount of food you get.Highly recommend for anyone wanting to try. The staff is extremely friendly and greets you when you walk in as well, which is hard to find anymore. The entire place is very clean and the tables are cleaned off promptly.“
“Li's is my favourite restaurant for Chinese take out! They have the best spring rolls, fried rice, wonton soup and lemon chicken. Always quick, fresh and delicious. We always order the deluxe dinner for three and have lots of leftovers.“
“We recently moved down into West Village from North Macomb County. Part of our bucket list was to find a go to Chinese Restaurant as this is one of our favorite carry out options. Well this past Christmas we celebrated on the 24th. Christmas Day we didn't want to cook and decided to try and find a Chinese restaurant that was open for carry out. Well we landed on Dynasty. I can tell you with 100% honesty that this is some of the greatest Chinese carry out we've ever had. Great portions. Tastes amazing and the family is wonderful. We've been back several times and will continue to order from here. The restaurant itself isn't much to look at but please don't let that turn you off.Highly recommend!!!“
“my husband and I were there today. as we came up to the restaurant his sugar started to bottom out. the ladies handed me an orange juice to give him right away & said no worries order when you are ready. i ordered my food. as i was leaving him there to get our car the ladies handed me sweet & sour chicken for him to eat and said we will keep an eye on him. i went to get our car and the ladies had brought him a damp towel for his neck. thank you ladies for showing kindness and compassion for my husband. the 3 of you went above and beyond!! thank you so much for what you 3 did for my husband and myself!! we truly appreciate you all!!“
“Hello Everyone I Ordered the S&S Chicken,Fried rice with all the meats, crab Rangoon, egg roll, fried crab claws. Food prep took 20 min longer than advised time. The rice was very flavorful lots of meat and CLEAN shrimp but just a tad bit on the dry side. The chicken was crispy hot and delicious. Crab Rangoon light and golden, eggrolls were great too! They were out of the deep fried crab claws i was kinda bummed but I'll try next time. All condiment and sauce i asked for were provided and server was very polite!“
“Visited the Red Sail for my first time after doing a google search. You definitely won’t be disappointed! The portions were great size, service was the best I’ve had at any restaurant ever and food was fresh. Couldn’t recommend a better restaurant for anyone looking for a good Chinese Joint“
“The outside of this place and the inside will make you turn around and leave. It needed updating probably 20 years ago. But the food is the best on the east side. The owners are cranky/nice people. The neighborhood loves them and they love the neighborhood.Parking: There’s parking in front of the building.“
“Most likely the best Chinese restaurant in Windsor area. Exellent pork pan fried dumplings, special house chop sooi, Shanghai noodles, beef with ginger and green onion and the list goes on and on ?. Ordering from there may lead to addiction ?. I think my wife already is ?. Strongly recommend. You wont be disappointed.“
“The best restaurant in my neighborhood, honestly a hidden gem. Me and my boyfriend have been going to Thai Lanxang for our first dates and many anniversaries the owner is an absolute sweaty and I look forward to seeing her every time I come to eat there. Our favourites are for sure the crab cheese appetizer (Crab Rangoons). It is a quiet restaurant with a calm atmosphere, they aren’t too busy which of course breaks my heart. Their entrees are huge portions, there’s not one time I haven’t left without something to take home for the following day. There’s no way to beat their prices either, so affordable especially with the price of food recently.Parking: There’s plenty of parking available as the location is located in area with many other shops in a plaza off of Howard Ave. There’s even a bike rack located in the middle of the plaza in view of the local shops.Kid-friendliness: As the restaurant is usually more quiet than your regular restaurant this may be a blessing or curse. If there’s no other parties in the restaurant you wouldn’t have to worry about children being loud or silly in the restaurant. For meals for kids on the menu it may seem tricky yet there are so many possibilities for children. My partner is pretty picky yet he loves this restaurant and makes it a goal to try new things on the menu. We both agreed that the menu contains tradition basic entres you may see at any restaurant suck as orange chicken or lemon chicken(both come with a large bowl of white rice) chicken fried rice, spring rolls, fried wontons, grill thai steak, grilled chicken or pork chops. All basic meals that many picky eaters may enjoy or young kids.Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicap accessible parking spaces as well as a ramp on to the side walk to enter the restaurant. The restaurant its self is spacious with tables where shares can be removed to make more space as well as booth if needed. There are handicap stalls in the bathrooms too.“
“I have been ordering from the same 3 Chinese places for years. Tried Gar Won today, the absolute best ever! Everything was fresh taste delicious and the price can't be beat, only downfall is we didn't try it sooner. Found our new Chinese place!“
“For the first time a Chinese restaurant that don't overcook the vegetables The food is axle I compliment the chef and everyone there.Vegetarian options: The Chinese mixed vegetables is axle that I really truly complement them all dude that makes your vegetables what makes it so interesting I never had Chinese mixed vegetables with miniature corn in it.“
“This is my favorite Chinese food restaurant!! Every time I'm in town, I must visit to get the Almond Boneless Chicken and the yeast bread rolls. You used to be able to dine it, but after COVID that changed. The staff is always nice to me, but that's because I am always nice. If you get smart, expect them to return the favor. They have been at this location for over 20 years and is respected in the community. If you are ever on 8mile/Kelly, definitely check them out!“
“Wow, great take out meal on a Wednesday. Our combination dinners were right on time and cost $30 including taxes. I ordered the General Tao combo and my wife ordered a Soo Guy combo. It came with a soup and egg roll. Everything was perfect and delicious. The General Tao was the best I've ever had, I swear! Their chef really knows how to make an egg roll. We both ate every morsel. Thank you Ho Wah!“
“After a long time, we finally found a good Chinese restaurant again. So happy to have this place in Tecumseh. We got it delivered and it was so quick, the food came hot and fresh. We always order spicy seafood combination and szechuan chicken, both were excellent.“
