I ordered a chicken gyro, and I found the food to be excessively greasy; it was even bleeding through the bag. While the meat was flavorful, after several bites, I bit on a toothpick.
Time to do an update. My first review still mostly stands. Moved from a 3* to a 4*, given how often we come back for the pork gyros. It's an old restaurant in an old building, so, not glamorous. The last redecorating was likely 15 years back, but it's held up ok. In the summer, you can take your order out and eat in the little parkette out front. Service is always straightforward. We appreciate that this place is still standing.

This is the sad tale of not just this restaurant but of many restaurants over the last few years in this cityAlexandros used to be a staple in the Danforth Greek community. But unfortunately, like many staples in the city.
