Slow service. Many times here i’ve been waiting too long for a coffee by the counter. Nobody offers to bring you a coffee to the table when waiting times are long. However, it’s a nice place and a good coffee.
We visited Baka on the weekend and enjoyed the coffee and tea drinks. . The Balkan dishes are a little bit on the pricey side but we didn't try any of them.Pancakes were simple and hit the spot. The fries were decent and the mayo they came with was a lovely complement to the fries. We finished off with a cookie that was excellent! Lots of chocolate and a nice soft texture. This place has so much potential as the food and atmosphere are great however the service needs major improvements. The kitchen closes at 4pm and what a missed opportunity right before dinner! The lady at the counter was so rude about it too … grabbing the menu out of my hand and rudely declaring it’s closed as the chef left! Hopefully the management hires a new chef and stays open for dinner!
