Excellent place! I'm usually underwhelmed by Portugese BBQ chicken restaurants, but this is the best one I've ever been to. The food is extremely fresh, there are lots of options, and it's cooked to perfection! Great atmosphere and service too. And the prices are great!All these factors mean it's very popular and tends to be bustling. Apparently there are still places (in 2024) where 2 adults can get dinner and drinks for around $50!
Just perfect. So, so, so delicious. Their fish, chicken, beef, seafood, appetizers, salds, and desserts scream authentic Portuguese, and at a price that will have you shocked, especially post-COVID. You can still see owner Maria bustling about serving coffee, taking orders, and having a laugh with the regulars all times of the day. Do not skip this place, one of the last jewels of Toronto still standing and shining!
