Their employees don’t speak much English but they’re very kind and sweet. I got the pan fried vegetarian dumplings and they were the perfect amount of crispy and soft. My only issue was the lack of taste with the filling. There was no spice in the filling, just vegetables. It felt a little like I was eating air. Otherwise my experience was pretty good and I would love to come back if they had some more flavouring in the dumplings.

EnKANG restaurant is Inside the Asian food mall (on the west side of Yonge st - across the street from whole foods) on the ground floor of the back of the building. Young Cashier “Jazz” was super patient and she explained the “beef and onion pan fried dumplings” and the “vermicelli duck soup with duck blood and duck liver”. She said there was NO MSG in their food and everything is made fresh. It closes at 8pm on Saturday. The dumpling were the best I’ve had and tax and tip included $17 total for 12 dumplings served with a delicious sauce of vinegar-fermented garlic. It felt very healthy, light on the digestion and savoury. Apparently, delivery is also available on Uber eats. Highly recommend and I will be coming back. Thanks Jazz!!! :)12 Beef and onion pan fried dumplings. Side vinegar sauce with fermented garlic! Yum!

Veggie dumplings were very juicy and flavourful I had them pan fried and their sauce was the bomb. Homemade soya milk was great too. Kinda pricey

I like their blind tasting box, you can try different flavours The meat filling should be bigger though.The shrimp pan fried dumplings with egg that i got was quite burnt at the bottom. That make the dumplings tasted bitter.The taiwan sausage is actually very good.The steam egg is not worth the price, dont order this.Price 4/5For the quality and portion, i find the price is okay for the dumplings. For side orders like the sausage or steam egg, its quite pricey for what it offer.

Loved their chicken & Napa, and Vegetarian steam dumplings. Nicely packed with cutlery and yummy sauces. Took about 20 minutes to prepare the orders. Freshly made and delicious.

The food quality is not good. I got a hard plastic/glass piece when having the fried dumplings and it almost hurt my teeth.

We ordered the pork kimchi and chicken Napa dumplings, where we got it boiled and pan-fried, respectively. The chicken Napa was great, good salt level, no sauce needed unless you just like the extra spice etc. The pork kimchi was ok, but definitely lacked salt. With the soya sauce and vinegar, it was great. I will definitely come back for another meal!

We ordered through Uber Eats, the order was placed at 11:55 am and was confirmed by the restaurant immediately without any notification that they did not have the capacity to accommodate all orders. After waiting for 1.5 hours, at 1:25 pm, my order was suddenly cancelled by the restaurant saying they did not have the capacity without any apology or remedy, which led to us totally missing the lunch time. What a bad experience!! We even recommended this restaurant to other friends after first visit. After this, we would definitely share the bad experience with friends in case they lose their lunches as well.

This place is amazing! We ordered takeout for an office lunch and the dumplings were all we could talk about when they weren’t being stuffed in our faces. This place is the best in the city if you want to stock up on authentic Chinese dumpling! We’ll be back for more soon!

DO NOT recommend!! Ordered on Uber eats and Dumplings ($19.99) were dry inside and dripping with oil on the outside, and Taiwanese sausages ($8.98 for both) were burnt, rock hard, and not edible (not to mention they were pretty small for the price- they were the size of my thumb). The photo on Ubereats was very misleading; the pictures I posted will speak for themselves. Bad experience and I will probably not return; I don’t understand how the ratings are so high.Update: increased rating because of how graciously the owner responded; seems like customer service is good here.
