I recently visited Issho Bakery and was impressed both times. My first try was the Green Onion Cornbread Muffin, which had a perfect balance of savory and sweet, and was delightfully buttery. This visit, I tried the Kimchi Cheddar Scone and Hojicha Caneles. The scone was buttery with a nice touch of black sesame. Quiet lovely coffee shop with quality desserts. The canele was 10/10.The owner was very friendly, we conversed a little bit.The shop is a small cozy space, where it seats about 4 people on a bench style.I tried the matcha latte, matcha cookie, and a canele and matcha latte was quite nice as well!

Beautiful space, friendly owners, and yummy food + drinks! It is always a treat coming to Issho Bakery whenever I am in the area. The matcha latte and vegan choc chip cookie are my top picks! A must visit spot in East Chinatown.
