There are times when the only thing that will satisfy my hunger is an Italian veal sandwich the size of my head. When I lived in Richmond Hill or the Beaches, this meant going to one of the California Sandwiches outlets, but if you live in the Annex, it means Papamio's. Handily across the Street from the local Loblaws, once you've finished your grocery shopping, you can reward yourself with an authentic meatball or veal or eggplant sandwich. Great stuff. Molto gustoso!
This place has fantastic sandwiches. Made to order. Hot and fresh.Family owned and they will treat you like that too.Whenever I am in town I try to come by for a sandwich!Don’t forget to try one of the cookies. You won’t regret it.

Fresh, high quality and good value. Owner was very kind and professional. Home made cookies were great. Owner suggested much better if we had eaten there. Will go back. Forget California or San Fran sandwiches - not even close!
