Popeye's generally makes reasonable food, but at this location, you'll want to get there well before closing time (11PM) if you want (semi) fresh food. I've been here as early as 930PM and been served food that was obviously prepared hours before and the staff are well into the day's cleanup. I'd say prime time to hit this location is about an hour after opening and no later than 9PM otherwise choose a different location if Popeye's is what you're hungry for.
Extremely slow service. When we attended there was one customer before us we ordered two wing combo and one burger combo and were told that it will be a 5-7 minute wait because they have to make the items - which we had no issue with. It took 20 minutes to get our meals and the wings weren’t cooked properly.Then the machine for fountain drinks had no ice and the beverages were warm. I cant really suggest if you can take the time and go to the location on lakeshore, do it. Trust.Food:Asked for fresh fries.
