Zaad offers a new take on Mediterranean food, with delicious flavours and welcoming staff. I tried the Chicken Shawarma Saj, which came as a wrap cut up into smaller pieces. I loved the sauce that came with it and the chicken was slightly charred without being dry, giving it that nice smokey flavour. The falafel balls were crispy but unfortunately dry. Got to try the chicken shawarma platter and the kebab platter. Not the best I’ve had but not the worst.The special of the day is reasonable for the price, otherwise I found it too expensive. Portions are decently sized, service is friendly and presentation of food was ??Lentil soup stood out the most in terms of flavour. I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to have it but if it’s in the area, this will satisfy ur middle eastern craving.
