“Visited The Bauer Kitchen to celebrate my husband's birthday. Was quick and easy to book a reservation online, two weeks in advance. Arrived at reservation time and were seated immediately. We opted for the bartender's choice of what was on tap, which was Three Ring Circus from Block 3 Brewing just down the road in St. Jacob's. Despite it being an 8.9% beer, it was very tasty and did not taste like a beer that strong. Excellent selection, bartender!We started with the crispy fried brussels sprouts, which were the star of the meal. Perfectly crisped and seasoned, served with housemade fried chips and a garlic aioli, these were nothing short of delightful.Our mains were the Szechuan seared tuna bowl and the plant-based fried chick'n sandwich (with a side of sweet potato wedges).The tuna bowl was a great mix of ingredients. The sushi rice, veggies, and mango paired with the high quality piece of tuna, seared to perfection was "just awesome" in my husband's words.The plant-based fried chick'n sandwich was tasty as well. The housemade bread&butter pickles were a nice touch. The only thing I didn't enjoy about it was the bun to filling ratio. It seemed like a lot of bun, but was still very good and I would order it again.Our waitstaff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. He double-checked that there were no allergies once I ordered off the plant-based menu. “It was tasty food, although perhaps a bit overpriced for the meals. There were some noisy tables so it was very noisy. Good spot to bring a date as it is a very intimate atmosphere. “I've been eating here every week for a semester, the burritos are great, there's several options for meat on the burrito, and there are so many delicious, fresh toppings to choose from. I only ever had the burritos but if the other options are half as good as them, then they'll still be well worth the money. The staff are also excellent, always very nice and friendly, often starting up a conversation with customers.“

“The Works is a restaurant you must visit! Excellent service, delicious food, and a phenomenal atmosphere. A group of us had finished the 4th Ruhi Book in the main sequence and wanted to celebrate with another group of friends studying alongside us. We can all confidently say that we will come back because this is the place to be to be with friends and become closer. I encourage anyone who is studying the Ruhi Institute or anything else to come here and kick back after an intense study session. Shoutout to our waitress Victoria. She was amazing and felt a part of our group. She was so kind and was clearly working so hard with a radiant smile on her face. Today is a day that the 7 of us will always remember thanks to The Works.“

The atmosphere was cute.I got a hotdog and poutine.. hotdog wasn't really anything special but HUGE. The poutine was really good and also huge. My husband got the classic burger, which was also really good. The portions are really big, too. I would eat here again!“

“Had a dinner outing at East Side Mario's and it turned out to be a delightful experience! The highlight of the meal was definitely the Canadian calzones, which I highly recommend to anyone visiting. The flavors were spot on, and it's a dish I would go back for. The cleanliness of the restaurant also added to the pleasant atmosphere, making our dining experience more comfortable. However, the service did have room for improvement. After serving our food, our server seemed to vanish for about 30 minutes, leaving us a bit stranded. We eventually had to ask another server for assistance. While this didn't ruin our evening, prompter service would have made it better. Despite the service hiccup, I still find East Side Mario's to be a solid choice for a good meal. Four stars for the great food and overall experience!“
“Nice neighbourhood pizza joint. I saw they had Indian style pizzas so I wanted to try that out. My family wanted more traditional pizzas.The best pizza was the pepperoni - I asked for extra sauce. Even with a few other toppings they loaded up the pepperoni, which was nice, and the sauce was good. I'd ask for it a little more well done if I ordered it again.They were willing to do a half-and-half tandoori and butter chicken, and the owner recommended the garlic sauce base. The combo of the butter chicken and garlic sauce was nice. Would have preferred a bit more of the butter chicken sauce to balance out the liberal amounts of tasty garlic sauce, but it was still good. Would also prefer a longer cook next time since the Indian style pizzas were less dense with toppings - would be nice for slightly more done cheese and crust to go with the garlic sauce.My daughter got a small cheese, and she was pretty happy with it.They were giving all orders free samosas today - delicious! They had a great sauce for those. I also used that sauce for dipping my Indian style pizza crusts.“
