“Very clean and fun establishment! I enjoyed my “Twisted Tornado” along with a Hawaiian burger and Onion Rings. Not giving a full 5 stars as a few preventable issues occurred; we got one napkin but there were two of us eating, the Onion Rings didn’t have what was advertised on them (I didn’t correct this as I noticed after), and we had to put through 2 orders as an item was missing the first time around. Would definitely come again and recommend regardless!“
“Love the matcha. Service is a little slow but it’s because they’re preparing it carefully and it’s usually just one person working the register and making the orders. The dining area is nice if not a little cramped, tends to get busy later in the evening with people coming to eat dinner or study. Love that they always have new seasonal stuff on the menu. Recently it was the Lychee strawberry. 10/10Parking: No parking nearby, unless you park at icon or at the university lot ($5 flat rate)“
“It was love at first bite. Despite being deep-fried balls of dough, they are a world of difference from a Timbit. Sooo crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Loved the Bueno and Biscotti flavor; you won’t regret it!I wish they had area for seating as its a bit congested during rush hours. Overall great experience and do recommend them.“

“We went to Scoop Du Jour on a weekend late afternoon and there was a short line, but it went by super quickly. We got their scoop of the day: green tea ($3.10 in a cup), it’s an additional $0.22 in a cone.We loved the green tea ice cream, you can really taste the strong flavour of the matcha. As well, they have not increased their price throughout the years! They used to be in a truck and now they have relocated to beside Luster and Oak. They’re also only open in the summer time, so catch them if you can! Can’t wait to come back to try different flavours!“
“The place lives up to what others have said. Incredibly clean and the staff are very nice. The full grown man in front of us was being a brat about the amount of ice cream he received and they handled it extremely well.Hats off to this store, definitely a good spot for some ice cream. “Staff was friendly and helpful in guiding us through our first time at Menchies! It's expensive- $2.60 per 100g in your cup. We ended up getting 460g and payed about 14 bucks for one cup that we shared.There was lot's of toppings to choose from but I do wish they had a larger range of froyo options. We got cheesecake, nutella, and strawberry froyo and the strawberry was my favourite! The cheesecake tasted nothing like cheesecake and had a strange flavour lol. For next time I would suggest putting a bit of froyo in a cup and tasting it before filling your fill.The ambience was nice and felt nostalgic almost like a 2000's teen show lemonade stand. Overall a fun time and I would go again!“

“Always luv getting dq cakes in the summer as my family has summer birthdays. This location however very low selection compared to others by me, I only went to the Laurelwood location in Waterloo for a groupon deal I got, however I didn’t quite understand the deal in groupon so it wasn’t really a deal to me, so I wouldn’t purchase again from here anyway. Cake was still good and well decorated. Service was ok. I’m well aware how groupon works and I’ve bought many deals and this was the only deal that wasn’t worth the deal. The groupon ad doesn’t make sense how is it $20 towards a cake when I paid $14 for the deal and had to pay ex $16 at checkout ?“
