“Over 400 orders in the last two years says it all. This place has become my go-to, and it has never let me down once. The shawarma plate is my regular. It's perfectly seasoned, generous portions, and that consistency you just don't find everywhere. When I'm in the mood for something different, the naan and chicken tandoori is incredible. The tandoori has that perfect char and the naan comes out warm and fluffy literally every time.

What keeps me coming back isn't just the food (though it's genuinely some of the best around), it's how reliably great it is order after order. If you haven't tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and order. You won't regret it.”

“Not my first time here but I forgot to post the other times! I typically get this chicken fingers but this time I got the smash bacon cheeseburger and my husband got fish tacos. Everything was hot and fresh. The flavour and crunch of the edges of the smash burger was perfect! The fries always delicious. I was told the fish tacos were also fresh and flavourful. Our server Charlotte was friendly and attentive! Next time we’ll sit on the beautiful patio!”

“We recently tried the full tandoori chicken at Maimana Naan & Kebab, and it was excellent. The flavor was a bit different from the usual tandoori chicken, with what seemed like an Afghan-style touch that made it unique and memorable. The chicken was juicy on the inside, nicely crisp on the outside, and cooked perfectly. The spice blend was well balanced and very flavorful.

My only suggestion would be to improve the value by making it more of a complete meal. Adding a couple of naan breads along with some salad or rice would make a big difference and complement the chicken perfectly.

Overall, the chicken itself was outstanding, and we really enjoyed it.”

Ordered the caesar salad to start, loved the mixed greens and that it was lightly dressed, unfortunately the dressing was very peppery which made it a bit too spicy. For the mains, the green pea and Lemon risotto was perfect and creamy, the add on salmon was just on the edge of being overdone. The B67 burger was tasty and juicy, great fries but the sambal ketchup was too strong and overpowered the other flavours of the dish. Currently they only had one cocktail available which was a bit disappointing, as in the past they had some fantastic ones. Atmosphere was great and staff is always pleasant.”

Jen speaks clearly over the microphone, is always polite, helpful, and genuinely kind. Her positive attitude and lovely demeanor set the tone for our day. We probably pass at least 15 Tim Hortons on our way to work, but we always choose this location because of her and how efficient the service is during the morning rush.

Jen is a wonderful example of what front-line staff interacting with the public should be. We truly appreciate the calm, friendly, and polite voice she brings to our mornings.

“I had such a great experience at McDonald’s thanks to Aroosh. He was genuinely one of the nicest and most professional employees I’ve come across. Even though it was busy, he stayed calm, friendly, and made sure everything was done properly and quickly. At first, it didn’t seem particularly remarkable, but we were pleasantly surprised. Our waitress, whom I believe was named Lianne, was incredibly friendly and took the time to carefully explain the various menu options to us. The pizza was outstanding and truly reminiscent of what you’d find in southern Italy. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking excellent service and an authentic Italian pizza experience.”

“In July 2022, I had the pleasure of attending 8-Bit Beans for my grandson's birthday celebration (at the Whitby location). He chose the venue, and it was such a great choice. I even played some retro arcade games, even though I usually consider myself "too old" for that stuff. The overall vibe is why I played the games. I felt like a kid again for just a little while. Tasty (but simple) adult and kid friendly food that was served in a timely manner, and with a smile. The staff were polite and friendly, and the service was top notch. I look forward to returning in the future.”

“We have been ordering from Wing House Express since they opened. The convenience is great as we live in the neighbourhood. However, our last few orders have been lacking quality and customer service. Recently we ordered the game day special, and we were surprised by the lack of onion rings in our order (past orders they have been full to the top), this order would be suitable for one person, not two. We also did not get our dipping sauces, that come with the meal. By the time we realized, it was too late, and my husband didn't want to walk back. The food is amazing, we just wish the quality would improve.”

The price is quite good too. The coconut rice had a great taste with the rest of the dishes. The portions were also reasonable and we had plenty of food leftover for the next day. If you enjoy Thai food, I would give them a try.”

“We've been here before, several times actually. The food was always superb, hitting the spot always, both in presentation and in taste. The richest, most flavourful broth in town imho. Monday's dining experience, however, stood apart as one of those meaningful and set apart ones.

Like past visits, were warmly greeted when we entered Pho Sam. The owner (now, Uncle) made the rounds and connected with every guest as he always does. I briefly shared that my son was not feeling well and how Dad used to take us for pho on those sickly days. That I was too tired to make my own pho at home. Plus, I wanted my son to remember the Asian side of his heritage, because we have good and healing food. Yes, we have good food.

Uncle left us to eat when the food arrived ... And THEN ... he did the unthinkable, the sweetest, most unexpected thing. He topped up my broth! Because the broth. Something my Dad would a
do, him being a soup and brothy kind of guy.

Thank you, Uncle for this small act of care. The food you serve is the best in town, but more importantly the way you show care to your patrons is something special and something to write home about. Unknowingly, you came through as my loving Dad, unbeknownst. Someone, I've been missing terribly.

Next time, a cold or flu makes its round around here, we know where we are going to find comfort, honour tradition & heritage, and create new memories.”

“This brewery is a hidden gem! The beers I've tried were pretty good, I've had the Goose, the Constant, the Slowpoke, Foxfire and the Depths so far. They were all very good. There are a variety of board games to play while you enjoy your beer and they often have record events where you can buy records and pop figures and such. Would definitely return soon! 🍺”

“I'm not normally a seafood person however still wanted to give this place a try and I'm glad I did. Ordered the Haddock and chips, fish was beautiful battered and the batter was quite light. Fish itself was well seasoned paired really well with the tartar sauce and their gravy which was quite flavorful as well. The chips were beautiful fried and I love that the chips were unevenly cut which allowed an extra layer is crispiness. If you're a fan of fish n chips, this may be your spot.”
