“Amazing Service from Candace!

We had an excellent experience at Kelsey’s in the Oshawa Centre, thanks to our server, Candace. Splitting meals isn’t something restaurants generally always do if you ask, but Candace went above and beyond to accommodate us, which we really appreciated!

Candace also made sure I could use my coupon from the Gens’ game without any hassle—it was such a smooth process. Their friendly attitude and attention to detail truly made our visit enjoyable.

“The food was definitely out of this world! If you really want to taste the real Afghan authentic food this is the only place where you can find the same Afghani taste as Afghanistan in Canada! The best part was that before leaving the manager came and asked if everything was okay! In most Afghan restaurant they don’t cook and steam well the rice but here it was Superb. Kebab was really juicy and delicious!!! Give it a try you won’t regret it take my word for it.”

Craig sent me follow up emails and checked in regularly leading up to my birthday dinner which I appreciated. Our waitress was amazing although I cant remember her name. She got everyone's orders right. The food is always on point here. Hands down you won't be dissapointed here!”

“We got the waziri and sultana plate and it was soo fresh. The complimentary soup was super tasty. And the chicken tandoori skewers were very tender and moist. The food was steaming and the naan was probably the best naan I’ve had from a kebab shop. The service was really nice and the chef came to us to make sure we had a good meal. The atmosphere was family friendly and quiet and it was respectful for all types of diners. I would definitely come here again. The plates came with rice and naan and a salad with a good amount of meat.

“Finally went here on a whim tonight and it won’t be the last time. Ordered pork souvlaki, chicken souvlaki, crispy chicken sandwich and chicken fingers and fries. Everything was fresh and tasty, and no problem asking for extra plum sauce. It was busy but nice to see a local restaurant doing well. They threw in 2 pop’s for the extra wait but honestly it wasn’t long of a wait. We all agreed we’ll go back. Good pricing too, nice to see a restaurant offer honest pricing.”

“These students are showing what the future culinary arts is going to be like in Durham Region, it was extremely delicious. Well plated, well served, and well executed.

Parking: You do have to get a ticket, but they will validate it for you.So it is a free parking environment.”

“We came from St.Thomas again this week, for March break. Our mini family vacation. We planned it around the Mongolian Grill and a few other entertainment things in the area. Once again, the food was fantastic and I really missed it. This location does things the best out of all the locations I’ve been to. I’ve been to multiple. The owner really cares and strives to make your meal what it should be. Exceptional! They have separate sticks for the grill for each individual bowl. They stayed topped up on toppings. Our waitress Alexa was amazing both days. My only nitpicking complaint is I wish they had chickpeas. Maybe I missed them lol. They do have the egg though, which No grill I’ve been to has it! Hope to come back again next year for vacation or anytime I’m in the area. Thank You for the awesome experience both days! Wish their was one in the London Ontario area.”

“Yeah food was good during subway’s older menu options, i was disappointed when i came to know, there is no more grilled and crispy chicken options. Moreover, service was little slow as there were 3-4 customers at a time but only one employee was there. At last atmosphere was little congested and only four chairs were there i just waited 8-10 minutes to dine in. Otherwise it is good for one or two people at a time.”

“I've been coming to this location for years and often I drive out of my way to go here because of the friendly and helpful service I receive from the drive-thru employee Jane. The weekend staff are horrendous in comparison... They don't say a word to you even when you greet them in a friendly way. Jane always has a smile on her face and will often go the extra mile and wish you a great day. Even when it's busy Jane is always there with a smile for customers as they drive through. To me she is the face of this location and the reason I return almost daily. I believe the drive-thru is so busy because of the weekday morning staffs friendly and welcoming service.”

“I just got McDonald's tonight and the Women at the takeout window of the drive-thru are SO KIND! The girl (unsure of her name) always has such a warm and positive attitude and always brightens my day too. I am seeing this a lot in this location.
Please don't be grabbing peoples phones in drive-thru to scan their points cards. You have no idea what people do with their phones or where they are placing them. Then handling next customers food or coffee cups just turns off for people waiting in line behind. For all you know they could be putting their phones in the dirtiest places. If you cannot scan the card after trying twice it's not the end of the world. But spreading their germs and whatever else to next customer is a problem.”

“This was one of my best McDonald’s experiences ever. I went through the drive-through, the cash was down, and the place was totally slammed. The person who served me on the microphone, and at the window were very pleasant, clear, and nailed my order. We definitely hit this one again on my way through.”

“Very good, the service is pleasant, very fast and efficient. They are everywhere. The price is very reasonable for the quantity. For a quick breakfast in the morning when you are in a hurry or just on the road this place is perfect for that. “Wow. The food is great, fresh and spiced to perfection. The chicken was tender and juicy while the gyro is so full of flavour I had to stop myself from just eating that. Thankfully the Veggies were so good I got distracted again and almost ate just those. Left completely full and feeling light. Oh and the cheese cake is a must have.”

“We have been ordering from Wing House Express since they opened. The convenience is great as we live in the neighbourhood. However, our last few orders have been lacking quality and customer service. Recently we ordered the game day special, and we were surprised by the lack of onion rings in our order (past orders they have been full to the top), this order would be suitable for one person, not two. We also did not get our dipping sauces, that come with the meal. By the time we realized, it was too late, and my husband didn't want to walk back. The food is amazing, we just wish the quality would improve.”

“This place is great. The owner helped me feed 40 kids up at the high school for the Christmas market at the last minute. He also gave me a discount on the food. All of the food was very good and the kids loved it. I highly recommend this location.”

“Haven’t ordered from Pizza Pizza for years but decided to give the location near us a try. The wings were juicy and flavourful and the pizza was great. Everything was prepared exactly as ordered. There was a short delay with my pickup order because they were very busy so they threw in an extra dipping sauce. It was a very nice gesture.”

“I don’t leave reviews often, nor am I really a cake person but I just had to leave 5 stars! We ordered a custom cake for a friend’s 30th (who’s pregnant and had a very specific craving). We were able to order a lemon cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese icing just as the mama to be wanted. It was one of the best cakes we’ve ever had, not to mention how beautiful it looked. It wasn’t overly sweet and it was light and delicate but packed with flavour.

We realized after getting our food but the staff were so kind that they remade the burger for her with out anything hesitation. They didn’t have to do that for us because it was our mistake but they did anyways. Thank you Burger factory and staff for the 5/5 star service. Will definitely be coming back in the future.”

We usually go to Markham, Scarborough or downtown for Thai food but this place was just as delicious if not better than most of the Thai places we’ve tried! We got Khao soi, pad kra pow, calamari and satay. Khao soi was sooo tasty. All the food is very flavourful and you can taste lots of different spices infused. Will be back to try more of the menu!”

“I just moved down the street from this Pizza Pizza location and I am SO happy I decided to order from them!! I have ordered from so many restaurants trying to find a decent plant based Pizza that even slightly resembles the flavor and texture of a regular dairy and pepperoni Pizza that I used to enjoy 8 years ago before changing my lifestyle...even restaurants that are 100% vegan can't top the Plant Based Pepperoni I ordered from this location!! It was SO GOOD!! I completely understand that cooking and baking with plant based ingredients like the dairy free cheese and pepperoni etc can be a bit tricky as they do not cook or melt the same as regular, and so many takeout plant based Pizzas I have tried were just awful BUT this Pizza Pizza Location has figured it out!! It was so good I just picked up another one for lunch today! Ontop of the pizza being very tasty and fresh, it was prepared fast and the staff are wonderful and very friendly. I highly recommend checking them out!!

Amin was very friendly with a great sense of humour. A very genuine owner who clearly cares about his clientele. They were very busy and he apologized for the wait. “A group of 8 for a birthday celebration this evening was a success. My missus had the fish ‘n chips but i splurged on a small steak. Both were excellent especially my steak that was cooked perfectly to Rare/Medium.

Great selection of craft beers and a reasonable wine list.

Service was exceptional. Kayla was professional and lively and even laughed at my jokes. 😜. They even had no trouble presenting a birthday cake that we brought in - a nice touch.
