Ordered the caesar salad to start, loved the mixed greens and that it was lightly dressed, unfortunately the dressing was very peppery which made it a bit too spicy. For the mains, the green pea and Lemon risotto was perfect and creamy, the add on salmon was just on the edge of being overdone. The B67 burger was tasty and juicy, great fries but the sambal ketchup was too strong and overpowered the other flavours of the dish. Currently they only had one cocktail available which was a bit disappointing, as in the past they had some fantastic ones. Atmosphere was great and staff is always pleasant.”

“We recently tried the full tandoori chicken at Maimana Naan & Kebab, and it was excellent. The flavor was a bit different from the usual tandoori chicken, with what seemed like an Afghan-style touch that made it unique and memorable. The chicken was juicy on the inside, nicely crisp on the outside, and cooked perfectly. The spice blend was well balanced and very flavorful.

My only suggestion would be to improve the value by making it more of a complete meal. Adding a couple of naan breads along with some salad or rice would make a big difference and complement the chicken perfectly.

Overall, the chicken itself was outstanding, and we really enjoyed it.”

“Pretty decent food, good portion for price however there seems to be more sides than noodles in the vegetarian ramen, the meat ramen that my friends ordered dont seem to have this issue, the portions for them are more balanced. I do like the fact that the veg ramen had meat alternatives (tofu, mushrooms) but there weren't many options for veg, none for halal, options wise I was limited to just one bowl. Overall though, I enjoyed my time there”

“On Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 12:30 pm, after a mix-up with our reservation at a nearby restaurant, we decided to try Tuscan Wolf Pizzeria. At first, it didn’t seem particularly remarkable, but we were pleasantly surprised. Our waitress, whom I believe was named Lianne, was incredibly friendly and took the time to carefully explain the various menu options to us. The pizza was outstanding and truly reminiscent of what you’d find in southern Italy. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking excellent service and an authentic Italian pizza experience.”

“In July 2022, I had the pleasure of attending 8-Bit Beans for my grandson's birthday celebration (at the Whitby location). He chose the venue, and it was such a great choice. I even played some retro arcade games, even though I usually consider myself "too old" for that stuff. The overall vibe is why I played the games. I felt like a kid again for just a little while. Tasty (but simple) adult and kid friendly food that was served in a timely manner, and with a smile. The staff were polite and friendly, and the service was top notch. “We have been ordering from Wing House Express since they opened. The convenience is great as we live in the neighbourhood. However, our last few orders have been lacking quality and customer service. Recently we ordered the game day special, and we were surprised by the lack of onion rings in our order (past orders they have been full to the top), this order would be suitable for one person, not two. We also did not get our dipping sauces, that come with the meal. By the time we realized, it was too late, and my husband didn't want to walk back. The food is amazing, we just wish the quality would improve.”

“We've been here before, several times actually. The food was always superb, hitting the spot always, both in presentation and in taste. The richest, most flavourful broth in town imho. Monday's dining experience, however, stood apart as one of those meaningful and set apart ones.

Like past visits, were warmly greeted when we entered Pho Sam. The owner (now, Uncle) made the rounds and connected with every guest as he always does. I briefly shared that my son was not feeling well and how Dad used to take us for pho on those sickly days. That I was too tired to make my own pho at home. Plus, I wanted my son to remember the Asian side of his heritage, because we have good and healing food. Yes, we have good food.

Uncle left us to eat when the food arrived ... And THEN ... he did the unthinkable, the sweetest, most unexpected thing. He topped up my broth! Because the broth. Something my Dad would a
do, him being a soup and brothy kind of guy.

Thank you, Uncle for this small act of care. The food you serve is the best in town, but more importantly the way you show care to your patrons is something special and something to write home about. Unknowingly, you came through as my loving Dad, unbeknownst. Someone, I've been missing terribly.

Next time, a cold or flu makes its round around here, we know where we are going to find comfort, honour tradition & heritage, and create new memories.”

My drive home was an hour, therefore, I was expecting the food to be a little dry after the drive. We'll let me tell you that the ingredients were so fresh and delicious. “We had such a great experience at Chuck’s Roadhouse on Victoria Street in Whitby, and a big part of that was our waitress, Daniella!

Daniella was incredibly attentive throughout our entire meal. She made a point of checking that our steaks were cooked exactly to our liking and regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed.

She was also super accommodating when it came time to split our bill, which we really appreciated. Her friendly attitude and excellent service made the whole experience that much better.

We will definitely be coming back, and hopefully we’ll be lucky enough to have Daniella as our server again! Highly recommend!”
