The dj plays jamaican dancehall, afro- beats, R&B and trini music. And they know how to mix, and the club is for mature clientele so crowd is in their 30s to 50s with the odd mature 20s ppl. The skewers are tasty, good value, and come out QUICK. It’s almost always busy here but thankfully they have two locations side by side now so you can always see which one has a shorter wait.My fav dishes here are definitely the skewers (lamb, beef, chicken cartilage, wings, etc) and you cannot go wrong with any of them. The steamed oysters and scallops are also AMAZING and comes with a drool worthy garlic sauce. I like ordering a garlic cucumber and cabbage to balance out all the meat. Their fried rice doesn’t have much flavour but it works well with the saltier meats. Definitely check this place out with a group of friends so you can try everything!“

We were there luckily on a Thursday night and they had a live jazz band performing from 530-830, which was an unexpected delight.We started with drinks and apps by the bar and transitioned to one of their restaurant tables. The calamari and Korean chicken tacos were both really great. The calamari was tender and easy to eat, a far departure from the rubber bands one can get at the wrong place. The tacos were a generous size, with a great crunchy texture. If you come during their happy hour, the food is only 9.99! Very affordable.When our friends arrived we moved over to one of the high top tables thoughtfully reserved away from the band so we could actually chat. I had the truffle pizza and it was great. Only critique was that it took an hour to get our table of 8 all our mains, otherwise it would be 5 stars.“

“So I went to this restaurant on August 8th this week for a social event, and the onion rings and chicken fingers were good and the service was good. However, if you require news captioning, there is something wrong with the TVs or with the service that the restaurant uses which prevents them from being able to turn on closed captioning for the CP24 news channel. I was very confused as to why the staff I asked said no to me - I genuinely believed discrimination at first. However, someone from the social attempted to navigate the menus and the option for closed captioning was grayed out and not selectable. I hope that issue can be corrected in due time around the TV and/or the service as captioning has many beneficiaries and I would hate for the restaurant to miss out on repeat business because of that. My recommendation is thus based on the service around food. Numerically, everything overall is a 4 out of 5.“

The bar is spacious with a large upstairs and a considerable downstairs as well. I've been a couple of times and both times the bar was far from full, I think it's large size only adds to this empty feeling. They have a somewhat limited but classic beer menu with a couple interesting local beers on tap. Overall if you're in the area and looking for a pint I would recommend stopping in but I wouldn't expect my mind to be blown.“

The sour cream, salsa, and guacamole taste fresh, and the chips aren't mushy from all of the toppings, which I enjoy. Even if I'm full, I'll have the bite of brownie for dessert.
