“I love this place. I kept telling myself for years to go there every time I was at Uwajimaya, and never got around to it. Now I'm kicking myself for having not gone sooner. The service is awesome, the ramen is delicious and I can get in and out on time for my hour long lunch and have time to spare.Parking: Shares the parking lot with Uwajimaya.Kid-friendliness: They have booster seats and high chairs!Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp outside and they have tall and shorter tables for a variety of seating.“
“Syun Izakaya had been our go to for years, but the quality of the sushi has been inconsistent as of late. This was our first time here, per a friend's recommendation, and the quality of the sashimi and specialty rolls exceeded our expectations.“
“I’ve eaten here, more than I can count on a single hand because it is that good! Ordered take out, when typically I eat in. Ordered the Japchae, Cheese Tteokbokki and the Chicken Teriyaki. Can never go wrong with any of these three! Food is made at a great speed and the flavors are always the same, each and every time I come around. Don’t go without ordering their Japchae, I can’t go without it!“
“My adult daughter wanted to go here for her birthday. I had heard lots of good things, and now I know why. The treats were good without being too sweet, service was great. Not too busy at 8am on a Tuesday morning. Lots of variety to choose from. Thanks for making my daughter's bday happy!Wheelchair accessibility: Parking avail directly in front, sloped curb to get up on sidewalk, floors are easy to roll on & plenty of room. Thanks!“
“The GOAT of traditional family style Japanese dinner and lunch in Portland metro. Best chicken katsu curry, best chicken karaage, best best best. It's been around for decades and is authentic and amazing. Less of a Ramen restaurant and more everything else. If I found this in Japan I would consider it as good or better than other Japanese restaurants I've been to locally there.“
“I have been going to sambi sushi since 2014 and let me be the first to tel you that The food is absolutely amazing every time. But what’s even better than the food is the amazing friendly staff that makes you feel at home. Their hospitality is out of this world. Best sushi I’ve ever had and they big tempura shrimp and veggie plate is to die for . Definitely recommend if your in the mood for some real sushi.“
“The food was really good! The service was also good everything was good. (By the ten year old). The adults enjoyed the sake and everyone enjoyed the ramen.Vegetarian options: Tofu appetizer, kimchi and cheese roll appetizer, salad appetizer, and vegetarian ramen.“
“Tucked into the food cartel in Beaverton, this spot stood out from the SMELL. I had the Garlic Chicken, a special of the day, and my mouth was watering even before I took a bite. The dish was well made, full of garlicky, sweet, and salty flavors. I'm giving it 4 stars because I thought it was a tad bit too salty, to a point that it was almost bitter. Another qualm is that I wish there were combination plates available :( but I do understand why they don't allow combination plates.“
“so happy they opened in my area this is definitely one of my new favorite spots. everything i've tried has been really tasty, they give good portions at a good price too. all the staff has been so friendly really a great spot to stop by when you get the chance.“
“We ordered sushi burritos from this food cart, which had recently increased their prices by $5. We were hesitant to order at first, but we caved because we were craving them and one of us had never tried them before. The service was great! They were out of chicken, but they offered to make us a custom burrito for a small upcharge. However, they later found that they had enough chicken after all, so we didn't have to pay extra. The wrap itself didn't hold up very well. It came apart a few times, which made eating the burrito a bit messy. The seaweed didn't wrap around the sushi fully, which also contributed to the messiness. The parchment paper was also a bit weak, which made it difficult to hold the burrito together.Overall, the food was delicious and filling. However, we don't think it's worth the new price of $15 for a food cart item. We would be more likely to order it again if it was priced at $12. The price increase from $10 to $15 is a bit steep, and we think it's not quite worth the extra money for a food cart item.“
“I ordered the chicken teriyaki plate and its a large food portion which is awesome i wasn’t expecting to be that much! i couldn’t finish it so saved the rest for another meal. for the price i say it’s a win! plus complimentary soup? ofcourse yes! i’ll def come back and its nearby from my apt!“
“Took my daughter there because she was craving katsu. She got the pork katsu and loved it! I got a sushi plate it was soo fresh and pretty delicious. They are traditional as in they use wasabi on the sushi. I like it that way but if you don’t make sure to request without it!“
“This is our favorite Mio - the flavor and presentation is always wonderful. We usually order take out (which is also great), but today we dined in with two small children and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Our kids loved the salmon and tuna nigiri, Carribean Mango roll, and veggie tempura, and my 18-month-old even munched on a fried shrimp head.Dietary restrictions: I'm intolerant to soy (not a serious allergy, just unpleasant if I eat it) and the staff could quickly tell me which menu items to avoid.Kid-friendliness: The staff were prepared with high chairs, kid-safe plates, and training chopsticks. They even offered to clean my daughter's pacifier when she dropped it on the floor.“
“I have been a loyal customer in this place forever since the pandemic. Staffs always so friendly and nice. Five stars for very clean spot. Food is always fresh and delicious. If you are looking for a late night dine-in, this place is a must!“
“The menu has so many flavors to offer and the miso cod is phenomenal. For the price, the portions could be more. Everything is so fresh and flavorful, with lots of options available. As always the green machine was my go-to and it never disappoints. We keep coming back!“
“Rice Time has become a regular lunch spot for me while at work. Every item I've tried has been delicious, and the Pork Fried Rice is one of my main items to get again and again. The ability to combine 2 entree items you like into a combo item is great too. This little hidden spot is a great place to grab a quick lunch and head out.Side note, any items labeled Spicy are definitely spicy.Parking: Lots of parking spots within a business plaza lot. I've never seen the lot anywhere close to half full.“
“ZEN Teriyaki, It was my first time hearing about this facility. I got today's special pork katsu ( Price: $12.99). Service was great and the Meal was delicious. I like how they add salad to every dish. I got mine to go and when I got home It was still nice and warm. The serving sizes there are great. The atmosphere of the shop Was nice and Cozy and kid-friendly because there were a couple of toys for kids to play with.I would definitely come again and getting a bite to eat. I enjoyed it very much and would recommend.Vegetarian options: They don't have that much options.Parking: There's parking right in front of the shop.Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed inside.Wheelchair accessibility: Not really, that much accessibility.“
“The food is top notch. The cooks are fenominal. I've been going to this location for 10 years and have loved their food every time. They are always super busy and full but the staff is always quick to ensure everyone is taken care of, food is good, and resteraunt is clean.“
“I have been going to this place for awhile. When I say you get a shiz ton of sushi, you get a shiz ton of sushi. I had taken my dad here and hadn't informed him on how big the specialized rolls were, he joked about having lunch for the next day to enough.Shoten has a variety of food for you to enjoy, even if you dont eat fish, want something warmer or colder you can get soup or a specialized salad. If you want to have good sushi that is priced fairly well and doesn't disappoint on portion sizes, Shoten Dining is your place.Vegetarian options: There is options clearly labeled for people who don't or cant eat fish. You always have a choice while coming here.Dietary restrictions: Food is labeled with ingredients and workers are more than open to mention if something has and ingredient in it you cannot have.“
“Simply a very refined and creative sushi menu. Many of the items here are completely unique and others feature fish/meat that is hard to find. Some of the prices here are high, but I believe the dishes are worth it. The service is also quick and always friendly. This might be the only restaurant I've been to in the last five years that hasn't messed up any order requests I've asked for. I can be picky and they always get it right! Beautiful presentations with flowers and elaborate plating, a stunning interior, and great sunset views make a meal here an experience.“
“Stopped in for the $8 lunch special. It was nice in the restaurant and I got my food very quickly. I had 2 gyoza, teriyaki chicken, and white rice. It was very yummy and a lot of food. I saved the rice for last, but had eaten so much chicken I could only finish half of it. If you took it home and added some veggies it would make 2 nice bowls easily. Will absolutely be back.“
“Even if you do not like Sushi, you will love this gem of a place with great food and a wonderful service. I have been eating Sushi for decades now; and I have never felt so rewarded in a culinary experience with every bite. Magnificent quality of raw material with an excellent preparation to deliver each ingredients ultimate flavors. It was simply a delicious treat.“
