“A party of seven gathered for dinner at Zydeco's, where the service, as always, was exceptional. I indulged in one of my favorite dishes, the perfectly cooked Steak Frites. Our group sampled a variety of dishes, including Redfish, Shrimp & Crawfish Jambalaya, Crispy Braised Half Chicken, and Barbecued Baby Back Ribs - all of which were superb. For dessert, we enjoyed Buttermilk Beignets, Flourless Chocolate Cake, and Zydeco Carrot Cake, unfortunately, the pictures didn't turn out. Nevertheless, they were a hit with everyone present. “Went for happy hour just after 3. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. I had a jalapeño margarita and husband had a tamarind sour. Both were happy hour drinks and delicious. For snacks, we had the chips salsa and guacamole as well as the fried cauliflower. All excellent and fresh. This will be on our regular rotation for sure.“

“Hooooly cow, these drinks pack a punch! Our bartender pointed out the happy hour menu around and we went with the Blue Velvet. Sheesh! The vodka soaked blueberries were no joke, if you pick them out of your drink & pop a few in your mouth, it's like getting 2 drinks in one. Our bartender was friendly and attentive. We got a little tipsier than we had intended, curtesy of the "dangerberries" as we teasingly called them. All in all, it was a lovely experience in a super cute spot! We meandered around downtown then made our way back to Velvet later in the night. Our second visit was a bit shocking as our cozy cove had turned into a total rager- bouncer & all. It was by no means bad, just not my scene. If you're looking for a tasty drink & chill atmosphere, this is the spot if you come before 9! “I am SO glad we have a solid place in Bend to get smash burgers. SO much better than all the craft brewery burgers out there. Plus, you can get cocktails and "boozy" milk shakes that are hand made per order. We took our friends on Sunday, 25 of them, and came back with just us 4 on Tuesday, just because we HAD to. Their burgers are perfect, fries are killer and Japanese tempura onion rings are great. Simple menu and great personability from the staff is very much appreciated. This is our new favorite burger joint, hands down. Go give them your business! You'll thank me later.“
“This place truely is a the capital of bends night life! Went there twice.Thursday at 9:30pm, very sleepy not busy but there is pool and the bartender is very nice. Great drink selection.Friday: total vibe when the djs pump the DIRTY FILTHY BEATS. Really the best place for edm or dancing in bend in my opinion. Great crowd no cover plenty of space.The beer selection is rough no blue moon corona or Guinness.“

“Rolled into town around 830 on a Sunday and this was one of the few places that was still serving food past 9pm. Ordered the strawberry chipotle bbq wings and the Jaca pizza. The flavor on the bbq was delicious - fruity and smoky. The Jaca was also really good. They managed to get a thin crust that was able to hold up the ingredients without flopping. Would definitely return.“

“Went to watch Monday Night Football while staying in Bend on a business trip. Had the River Pig Nachos which were pretty good. Plenty of large screens for the game. Pretty typical sports bar with the usual trappings, would go again when back in Bend if there's a game on.“

“This place has no business being this good! We stopped in for drinks and I usually don’t order food out since I have a few food allergies and am generally just picky. They have a lot of gluten free options and are also very accommodating to the rest of my allergies. Everyone who has served us has been great! The drinks are delicious, and the food is friggin fantastic. The fried chicken and the banana wontons are my new go-to. The poke is a close runner up.“
