“A friend introduced me to this cute place, and I'm so glad she did! I've been back several times, tried the crepes, but I really like the bageless there. I was able to order gf there, including their crepes. Their ingredients taste very fresh, and they're always busy. They have ample outdoor seating and great free parking.Dietary restrictions: They have several gf options“
“I am so glad we stopped here! I ordered the biscuits and gravy, a banana nut muffin and two chocolate chip cookies- all for under $20. SO GOOD. I wanted to order everything in there! Staff super kind, love the art that is up, bathroom stocked with any extras a woman might need. It’s easy to miss but not easily forgotten!“
“The ice cream was good, lots of unique flavors and some twists on the classics, i.e., pear gorgonzola and salted chocolate chip cookie dough. They also had a variety of vegan options I had one made with oat milk, that was yum! Thought it was a bit spendy as we only got 2 single scoops and the cost was about $12. But this isn't your typical ice cream shop now is it?“
“Had a business lunch here today. None of us had ever been here before. We were all blown away by the sandwiches! Super soft bread, high quality meats and veggies, ans huge portions! I could only eat half and just ate the rest for dinner. So good! I'll definitely be back.“
“Fantastic food from a great staff. The sausage and veggies were fantastic and the garlic aioli was an awesome sauce on top. The French fries are what you remember the good McDonald's fries from your childhood were. My wife loved her salad and pretzel, it was soft and buttery with an awesome cheese dip.“
“Best drink/coffee place ever! Seriously, everything is so delicious, pretty and made with care. The drinks are very creative and there's really fun specials too. The owner is always so nice and friendly and it's clear that they put a great amount of time and effort into every detail. A gift to Eugene and so much appreciated!Dietary restrictions: Oat-Milk as a Dairy alternative“
“Great place with good employees that really care. They also don't take tips, instead they receive donations to feel the hungry and in need. Awesome vegetarian chicken sandwiches.just make sure you order the right thing when u order as you can not call in about your order so don't mess it up.You have been warned. Thanks for holding down the local median . Great patio as wellVegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options“
“I like this place for the unpretentious, the friendly staff, and the mellow atmosphere. This time I got a tasting flight of white wine, the dry riesling was my favorite. A flight is $12. I've never had the food here (I always get something from the food cart outside) but they do offer a few cheese plate options. This is a good spot for a mellow date night or a drink with a friend. (They have a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks, too!)“
“I love fresh overcast espresso Stout on Nitro, what better place to get it than fresh from the source. Friendly service crew and crowd. Thursday they have live music. A handful of food carts to choose from outside, with covered patio with heaters.“
“I have never experienced better customer service or food. I'll have a craving for this place and this place always delivers and more. The guy who runs the truck is amazing and will sit and have a conversation if he has the time. 10/10 love this place.“
“A Gem for Vegans and Beer Lovers Alike at Drop Bear BreweryMy recent visit to Drop Bear Brewery was nothing short of delightful. Nestled in the heart of our town, this brewery stands out not just for its exceptional craft beer but for its commendable focus on vegan cuisine. “I will drive more than 30 miles out of my way to get coffee at Global Delights Coffee (really I'd drive more and often do.) I love their coffee! They use organic ingredients which makes all the difference. Yum! AND their baristas are the BEST!! They're fast, friendly and make the best coffee, no matter who makes it. They're all fantastic people, who make great coffee. I highly recommend!!“
“She is the best in town. If You're going to Chipotle instead of this place, you're a fool. Been going here the last 7yrs or so. The food is incredible quality made fresh to order, and her green sauce she makes is very refreshing with great balance of spice and flavor. She offers organic rice and beans, and the composition of the burrito is delicious. Prices are more than fair, and your stomach is Happy after you eat the food, you don't get annihilated from the inside out like you would after Taco Bell.Besides all this, the lady is very nice and great conversation. Go see her today and taste what you're missing in this cool little hidden gem near backside of skinner's butte aside hummingbird wholesale. I took my kids here almost 7 yrs ago for the 1st time. She still remembers them. I just love places like this.“
“We've gone here twice and both times the food was fantastic. The first time, it was on Sunday and we had about a 20 minute wait. After we got seated, the service was fast and efficient, keeping our beverages full and hot. After we got our food, I was surprised by two things. One, the food came out fast! Two, the food was hot and delicious. This was such a change from most of the other places we've visited. The second visit was much of the same: Friendly staff and amazing food! Buddy's Diner has a lifetime customer. Keep being awesome!“
“Delicious BBQ from a master. At this point, we've tried everything on their menu, and it is all great. If you want to try something really special, he smokes these giant potatoes for hours every morning and stuffs them with pulled pork and other goodies when you order. It's a huge meal and absolutely fantastic. The couple that runs this joint are really sweet and want you to have a great experience. You can take your order to go or eat at the picnic tables. If it's raining, there is a tent with tables and space heaters. No matter how you enjoy your food, you are going to have a very happy and full belly..“
“If you enjoy Tiki, then you won’t be disappointed. The bartenders are friendly and quick. They play great music. Their drinks are quite reasonably priced. There is a good selection of food trucks parked outside that will bring your order into the bar when it’s ready. I don’t think there’s any downside to this place.“
“Such an adorable space, with wonderful humans. This is an absolute gem of an establishment. Every ounce of their menu is hand curated and rotating. They are masters of their craft, always inviting new experiences. Cannot say enough positives about Party Bar!“
“Great food, meatball sando was 10 of 10 amazing. Ham, cheddar and potsto (?) Soup was filling and delicious. Pretzel with beer cheese dip was also ?. Great service! Great beer! Little packed that day but they were hosting an event so, to be expected.Vegetarian options: There are gf, vegetarian, etc. Options that all sound yummy!Dietary restrictions: Just ask the servers, they're super knowledgeable and can get something to work for you.Parking: It's in a bad spot for parking but luckily it's within walking distance from several available parking options.Kid-friendliness: Definately kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Ada accessible.“
“I had an amazing dining experience at Viva Vegetarian Grill. We ordered the house-made chili fries with cashew cheese, the tempeh tacos, and enjoyed some African Red tea.The house-made chili fries were a delight, and the cashew cheese added a rich, creamy texture. The tempeh tacos were bursting with flavor and creativity, a true vegan treat. The African Red tea was a refreshing choice to accompany our meal.We opted to dine in, and our experience was made even better by the exceptional service provided by Cody. He was not only friendly but also quite funny, making our meal even more enjoyable. Cody went the extra mile by offering valuable recommendations for local vegan restaurants and nearby parks, making us feel like we were part of the community.Cody is a great guy and a wonderful representative of Viva Vegetarian Grill. I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious vegan offerings and the outstanding service provided by Cody. It's a must-visit spot!“
“We were actually heading to a different restaurant but stopped here instead and so happy we did. Food was incredible. The Bangers and Mash was delicious. House made sausage and yeast gravy gave it so much flavor. I ordered the spinach and arugula salad with smoked salmon for an upcharge. Simply delicious. Great service. Fun environment. Great service!!“
“Hella busy a crowded front entrance but hip new digs after the last place they had across the street. Great service even tho it was packed on a Friday night. Burrito was huge for about 10 bucks and tasty too. Chips and salsa for $6, honey? No ma'am - you know I'll be asking for three more refills which they were happy to do. Outside area had a heater and was like being on a covered deck in someone's backyard. Owner is an absolute gem.“
“I love Iris Vineyards. Their staff is nothing short of exceptional every time I've been in. Really knowledgeable and helpful, especially for a non wine drinker looking to try new things. The place is cute, and a fun atmosphere to enjoy a glass of wine with some friends. My personal favorite is the sweet amalia wine, it's so different than anything I've tried and I really enjoy it. Plus the prices are reasonable, and I love that. I'd recommend Iris for anyone who enjoys wine or is interested in trying wine!“
“So on this trip I found out I don’t like west coast ipas. Kind of not great for time in bend and Eugene or no?Luckily CLAIM 52 saved the day with their smoothie beers!I never knew this was a thing but omg they are amazing you need to check them out. A bit heavy for every day drinking but amazing tasting.I love the setting the bartender was nice and the food was good too!“
“Stopped at 99 Grill on way home to Salem from Eugene. Food was great (we had "Soldier Boy" and chicken fried steak) and service was also very good (even though our server admitted she wasn't on her "A" game). Kept coffee cup full which is always a plus. Locals all said hi to us as they walked in. Worth a stop and for us, a return trip.“
“This place is crazy busy most of the time so you know people like the fish products. They are pretty fast getting you in and out so that's a plus. We picked up a 10 pound sword fish roast they said they could give us a discount on it, but that didn't materialize, still the meat was fresh chilled and an excellent cut.“
“Love the options that beer garden provides. Also love that you can sort of enjoy the outdoors without being outdoors during the yucky weather. The fully covered back area with all the food carts is great. The bar offers some decent options of cocktails and a wide array of beers and ciders.Parking: Parking is fine after 6 PM but anytime before that you’re fighting with street parking and the minimal amount of parking spots they have available as all the other parking spots are for Grays garden“
“We had Paper Plate BBQ at our large backyard wedding in Eugene and we were beyond happy we decided to go with them! The food was delicious, even our Texan friend (who is very picky about his bbq) raved about the brisket. They were really lovely to work with too, they really went above and beyond.“
“A true gem waiting for you along I-5 for all your food, beverage, and Tesla charging needs! Usually driving along I-5 I'm trying to get from point a to point b without stopping to smell the roses, but Olsen Run Winery is a fun and unexpected place to stop. It appears out of no where along a stretch of highway and grass fields, and it is an awesome place to stop and eat (but it's not hidden...there's signs on both sides of the freeway, so it's pretty hard to miss). Personally, I'm a fan of their bacon cheeseburger and fries, but I've tried pretty much everything on the menu and nothing disappoints (the veggie patty is also surprisingly delicious and different from your typical roadside veggie patty). Everyone who works there is super friendly and welcoming. If you're traveling with your canine companions there's tons of space for them to roam and sniff. Also, the bathrooms are super clean and spacious (helpful if your canine companions don't let you go to the restroom alone)! There's indoor and outdoor seating, so you can be comfortable in any weather Oregon throws your way. If you happen to be lucky enough not to be the driver, you can enjoy a wine tasting or even a glass (or bottle) of wine. My favorite is the traditional method sparkling wine, but having tasted up and down the Pacific Northwest, I find that all their wines are a wonderful representation of the Willamette Valley, but also have a unique quality that sets them apart. Oh, and the wine slushies! Come on! We're not talking some slushie machine full of sugar and juice. These are made with real fruit and wine, and they are not only refreshing, but also delicious! They even have comedy shows and live music on certain nights. And, for you Tesla drivers, there's a bunch of charging stations. I don't have one myself, but after sitting in a scary parking lot somewhere in Northern California for an hour waiting for a friend's Tesla to charge (with no food or bathrooms nearby), this seems like the place to be if you are in need of a Tesla charge. Definitely worth a stop if you're driving through or live in one of the nearby areas.“
“Each of the staff members were super friendly & welcoming. I had the hot chicken sandwich, which was ??? My friend had the pastrami sandwich. Both meals were amazing! They had a good selection of drinks, including green beer for St. Patrick’s Day. I would definitely return again to this spot!“
“Great spot to enjoy a pint and grab some beer for home! Bunch of new coolers and nice renovation too. Sports on the tv, sidewalk seating, lots of nice seating inside, easy parking in back or on the street and friendly service! Great local beer tradition continued with the New Tons!“
“Very yummy! They have a lot of fun and delicious treats, and options for dietary needs. My favorite? Vegan sausage, egg and cheese. SO yummy! And on a bagel, plain or everything.I like their coffee, if you get iced though pre-warning the cups are very small! But still delicious. The employees are nice and overall have a good atmosphere. It is a smaller place and usually full, so plan to grab and go or bundle up to sit outside (or just dress according to the weather) their outside seating is nice too! Parking is meh. In the Whitt. So up to you how you feel about street parking. My husband and I go about every other week, I'm just pointing out the pros and cons for ya!“
“Great food and drinks!! Hadn't been here in a while and WOW!! Food was so good (had the beats patty) and service was spot on.Vegetarian options: Veggie options (Veggie burger, cauliflower steak, and more!!)Dietary restrictions: GF options on the menu“
“This was my first time in Eugene and my friend took me straight to tacos Maria the moment I landed. Best decision he ever made. I had the chicken and then carne asada tacos with green salsa. Amazing authentic flavor and sweet owner. 10/10 recommend.“
“I just wanted to say that Doug’s Burger moved to Lane community college and I have yet to find a consistently decent burger in the Eugene/Springfield area. I miss their food. I miss their people. I hope that things are going well at LCC, but would celebrate if they opened a place that was more accessible to those who were not at LCC.“
“I absolutely love day and night, it is my go to boba place and they have such a huge selection of drinks and flavors for everyone's likes. My favorites are definitely strawberry lava milk and all of their lava milks and the soybean milk tea. The workers are usually the same every time and they are so nice and are happy to suggest drinks. The shop itself is so cute, there is a lot of seating and cute hanging chairs perfect for photo ops!“
“My boyfriend and I stopped by here because the Thai place next to my house was closed. I’m so glad it was because I can’t imagine it being better than this place! Flavor was a 10, portion size is a 10, satisfaction definitely a 10. New favorite comfort food spot! Recommend the potstickers :)“
“This is a great little pizza place. Please note that they like to burn the crust, which tastes really good, but something you should know upfront. Other than that, please keep in mind that there are two locations, when you order ahead. The one further away from campus has a better parking option.“
“So much love!! Great beer, great service, great food!! I didn't get the name of the Mexican truck but I had the best baked potato I've ever had. It was covered in carne asada, cheese, salsa and yummy sour cream sauce. I'll go back just for that! They have a great beer selection including some of my Portland favorites from breakside. I hope they stay busy and in business for a long time!“
“I went back and forth on 3 or 4 stars here. I think the vibe and staff saved it from 3, but you really need to know it all to know why. We booked the Den (semi-private side room with fireplace, has sliding doors you can close) for our company dinner. We were told we couldn't do a reservation on a Friday night after 5 pm due to the fact that they have live music Friday nights and get quite busy. Not a big deal, we were fine eating before the crowds. However, they didn't seem very busy through the evening we were there. I hope that was just an anomaly, for their sake. The musician they had that night was good!Ambiance - check! Love the soft lighting, comfortable seating, beautiful table settings and overall decor of this place. Servers - very nice and helpful but seemed a bit slow considering their level of business at the time, as well as a bit lacking. For example, we had extra, unused wine glasses on our table that I ended up removing and putting on a side table myself to make more room. Also, at the end of the meal, a couple of us had extra pieces of flatbread that we would have liked containers for but we were never offered any and it had been so long between sightings of our servers, that we left them behind. Food - great presentation, but mild and lacking flavor. I did enjoy the house-made potato chips, but the onion dip was a small serving and wasn't as flavorful as expected. Same with the baked jalapeno artichoke dip, which was room temp and I felt should have been served warm. It was a bit bland. Additionally, the serving utensils for the appetizers seemed like odd choices considering (i.e. a tiny, tiny "fork" for the artichoke dip) and were hard to utilize with a larger group.Quite a few people in our group ordered the salmon and when received, one person's serving was clearly very uncooked compared to the rest of the tables'. They couldn't finish their plate and brought it up with the staff, who were very accommodating and apologetic. They did end up taking that dish off the final bill, so that was very nice. My Sicilian flatbread was good, if a bit charred on the bottom. Wine/beverages - good! I had the muscat and loved it! I meant to buy a bottle but forgot by the end of the evening. I heard good reviews on the pinot gris as well.“
“We were visiting for Junior Olympics from Georgia and my son wanted Korean food. He did a Google search for something close to the University of Oregon, and we found this awesome spot! The food was hot, fresh, and tasty, but the service was even better. They made us feel right at home as we are African American. The entire family was super nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend!!“
“I just love these folks. I joined their wine club after having such a fun and boisterous conversation with Zak (sp?). The wines are fabulous. I am not a big fan of white varieties, but their selection is an exception. The 2020 and 2021 syrah are temperate yet flavorful. The ambiance makes you want to stay for hours, soaking in the eclectic artwork and plants that seem strategically placed throughout the space. It's a comfortable yet memorable establishment that will keep you coming back for more!!!“
“Absolutely love this restaurant! As a student on a budget, finding delicious yet affordable meals is crucial, and this place delivers on both fronts. The gimbap rolls are packed with flavor and freshness, making each bite a delightful experience. Plus, the prices are incredibly student-friendly, allowing me to enjoy a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. Whether I'm grabbing a quick bite between classes or treating myself to a tasty lunch, this place never disappoints. Definitely a five-star gem for any student looking for delicious and budget-friendly eats!Food was too good. Forgot to take pictures beforehand.“
“Stopped here after my Amtrak train dropped me off at the station. This place is right next to the station, and busy. Vegan/Vegetarian foods with comfortable seating and artwork on the walls that are for sale. Most definitely a college town restaurant and serves both families and students as well as out of town folks with a smile and great personality.Vegetarian options: If you want to add real butter just ask and the vegan items can have cheese added on request.Kid-friendliness: Lots of tasty options the kids will want to eat!“
“Went for dinner here with the entire family. First time here. Staff was very polite and food was really great. Nice to have a quality restaurant in town. I had been hearing great things about this place for sometime so I am glad we gave it a try...Love there specials and the variety of food they offer....We will be back..very happy.“
“Good coffee at a great price. The 911 is my drink of choice. I'm not aware of anywhere else you can get a drink with 6 shots of espresso without paying $1+ extra per shot. They always make it consistent and are accommodating by making drinkable hot. They're always so cheery, and even if that's policy, it's a mood lifter.Dietary restrictions: They offer dairy free milks for your drinks.“
“Super cool place. There is a great assortment of food choices and plenty of drink options. Seems like there is something for everyone. I went back the next today to try some other food and beers. Great atmosphere and great service though you will be busaing your own table.“
“Always love coming down here. Tonight everything was closed at 830 after the pain n sip experience. It was a Friday night and 830pm. So I am not too sure if tonight was a fluke but I would imagine most of the businesses being open until at least 9pm on a Friday in a college city.“
“Everytime I go there everyone is so nice a respectful I live in Salem and I take time out of my day to drive to Eugene and everytime I’m there everyone is very kind and they have a very clean environment and good prices for theirs drinks and they have amazing drinks too and I love stay woke it’s the best coffee shop in OregonVegetarian options: They have vegan options and they have them labelled very clearly so everyone can see itKid-friendliness: They have plenty of kid drink options and they are very sweet with the kids“
“Vero Espresso has an unmatched atmosphere and some of the best drinks in town. It's such a cute little coffee shop, vibes are so nice, and plenty of places to sit - especially on the deck outside. Prices are okay, staff is always super friendly! Definitely visit in spring/summer because it's very beautiful in this neighborhood.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options!“
“LOVE this food truck! We have had both the chicken and the beef hibachi, and both are amazing. Can't recommend the spring rolls. Pretty tasteless. The chicken hibachi is coated in a sweet teriyaki sauce. The beef is just perfectly cooked, no real sauce. We like the chicken/steak combo. I don't get the small portion comments here. When we order, it is a solid meal and then left overs for lunch for the next day! Vegetables are fresh, rice is good and it's cooked to order. You'll wait a good ten or so minutes if you order at the window, but they deliver to your car or call ahead and it will be ready to pick up. Is it pricey? Yes, a bit, but that's because it is fresh with fresh veggies and not sitting under a warmer. Worth every penny.“
