“Delicious food. The kind of place that a week later your body will begin to crave eating there again and the cravings won’t stop until they’re satisfied with a return visit. Warning: your clothes and your hair will stink like grease and oil when you leave so don’t wear your fancy clothes to eat here because you’ll be on the hook for dry cleaning and in desperate need of a shower after your meal. You’ll definitely have to wash your hair to get the stink out. Worth it though.“

This makes me a little picky about strange things like, employee retention, a love and involvement from owners, a mutual respect among employees, excellence in service, attention to details. Last but not least- knowing their customers- how they like how what when and where is remembered and held somewhat sacred. Being a regular here is being part of a family as staff or clientele. As long as I have breath in my body and they will have me I will host a show here for my own sanity and well being. More places should pay attention to how these people do business on all ends. “SO GOOD!! Love that you can make it your way. The original Yumm bowl is fantastic. My daughter ordered the Hot n Jazzy bowl. YUM!! The sesame jalapeño salsa is super bomb. And I can never get enough of the Yumm sauce. Love all the healthy, high quality ingredient options, and service is super fast. Totally hits the spot. So YUMM!!“

“We went here for the first time today, after I had been picking up several DoorDash orders here. I had the best experience my 3 year old had decision remorse once our food showed up and they replaced what she ordered with what she now wanted. My only dislike is that the employees don’t wear name tags so I can’t properly shout out. But everyone in here is great. Thank you!“

“Oh my god... the poutine!!! My first time.. and yes, a die and go to heaven moment. Fries smothered in gravy with cheese curds! We just ate at Falling Sky Brewing I had the most luscious cubano! With crispy and juicy shredded pork, ham, cheese and pickles squished to deliciousness. And the perfect amout of mustard... the mustard is what makes it for me! With a side kale ceasar, a perfect pairing. Hubby had the Ruben, with house made pastrami and saurkrawt. Not too sour, on a marbled rye. He loved it. Son had a grilled chicken club with parmesagn garlic fries. Another win! We all drank their homemade ginger ale and root beer.“

“I was staying in Eugene a few days house/ cat sitting for my son and Barger Grill & Pub house was just a couple blocks away. I thought it might be more like a bar but it wasnt. It was a actual eating place.
I had the most spectacular steak bites ever! They were soooo amazing! The soup, coffee, the whole atmosphere was perfect.
I went back 2 nights later and had the hamburger sliders. They were amazing as well! Great service both nights and I will be back whenever I'm in Eugene. Definitely a great place and awesome food!“

“Wow! Never have I ever had such an incredible dining experience in my life. There I was: having the worst day of my life: I was told I only have one day left before going to prison because apparently I had committed “tax Freud”. I knew my last dinner before a life of incarceration must be at the University of Oregon GSH Fredhmarket Cafe. The employee by the name of Anna was so helpful, and even listened to me as I complained about my upcoming inprisonment. After eating my sandwich and talking with Anna I now face the bars of prison with welcome arms.“

The waitress was friendly, but when I asked for a refill on my soda, she never mentioned that they charge full price for a refill of soda. If knew, I wouldn't have asked for another. Please let customers know so they know what to expect on the bill. Other than that, I was happy with my visit.

That meant the others in our party that didn't order those had to wait about 35 minutes for their food as well. When we did receive our order, both were burned on the bottom. To their credit, they did not charge us for those pancakes.

We literally ran out of our pretzel and I ate the rest with my finger….not even ashamed. The Philly was delish and the burger my partner had was perfect.“

“I came here very unsure. Do not like trying new to me things. This restaurant hooked me. The lady was very nice and accommodating and answered my questions. I had the braised beef bowl sub chicken, added cheese and sour cream minus chipotle bbq sauce. It was awesome. It had flavor, a tiny bite that I liked… normally do not like any. The grilled chicken was done, moist and very well seasoned. Not over bearing, but mouth watering. I now have a new favorite!“

“My husband and I took friends to the Sunday brunch Sept 8 to celebrate their 62nd anniversary. I had been there with my sisters about a month ago and was pleased with most everything. I made 10:00 reservations. We got there a little early so the waiter asked us to sit down and they’d be with us shortly. After about a 12 minute wait the same waiter came up to us and asked if we had been helped. I said yes we were waiting for you to seat us. He had forgotten us. We ordered coffee from a waitress. Twenty minutes later and no coffee we grabbed another waitress and asked her to get us coffee. Instead of being offered refills on coffee we had to ask for it. Needless to say we were very disappointed in the service. On the other hand the food was very good. Unfortunately good food alone does not make the best experience. Don’t know if we’ll be back. All but the service was great. 😓“
