Fisherman’s market is not the best seafood that you can find in Eugene! Newmans fish company located on Willamette has far superior fish. I went for lunch today 3/31 and got the cod fish and chips and I was quite disappointed with the quality of the fish. Additionally my fries were like warm at best like they had been sitting under a heating lamp for a good amount of time ( I ate there). Clam chowder starts at $5. For Japanese people, the smallest cup is sufficient. Seafood tacos are also cheap. It is a valuable place where you can eat seafood at a cheap price in America, where living prices are high. The seats are always crowded, but the rotation is fast. There's always a line, but there are a lot of people taking takeout, so I don't have to wait that long. I'm not saying it's super delicious compared to Japan, but it's enough for this price.

The place is nice and they do have fresh seafood. The food could have been better though. The pasta was a bit mushy and some of the good food was bland. They do have lots of sauces though.
