“I am so glad we stopped here! I ordered the biscuits and gravy, a banana nut muffin and two chocolate chip cookies- all for under $20. SO GOOD. I wanted to order everything in there! Staff super kind, love the art that is up, bathroom stocked with any extras a woman might need. It’s easy to miss but not easily forgotten!“
“If you haven't stopped here, you need too!! These guys are killing it! Awesome food, taste and service. I was beyond impressed. Best chicken and waffles I've ever had. And The blue cheese frittes are delicious . Plus a creative and clean spot. Thank you for a new go to spot for great grub.“
“I had an amazing dining experience at Viva Vegetarian Grill. We ordered the house-made chili fries with cashew cheese, the tempeh tacos, and enjoyed some African Red tea.The house-made chili fries were a delight, and the cashew cheese added a rich, creamy texture. The tempeh tacos were bursting with flavor and creativity, a true vegan treat. The African Red tea was a refreshing choice to accompany our meal.We opted to dine in, and our experience was made even better by the exceptional service provided by Cody. He was not only friendly but also quite funny, making our meal even more enjoyable. Cody went the extra mile by offering valuable recommendations for local vegan restaurants and nearby parks, making us feel like we were part of the community.Cody is a great guy and a wonderful representative of Viva Vegetarian Grill. I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious vegan offerings and the outstanding service provided by Cody. It's a must-visit spot!“
“Stopped here after my Amtrak train dropped me off at the station. This place is right next to the station, and busy. Vegan/Vegetarian foods with comfortable seating and artwork on the walls that are for sale. Most definitely a college town restaurant and serves both families and students as well as out of town folks with a smile and great personality.Vegetarian options: If you want to add real butter just ask and the vegan items can have cheese added on request.Kid-friendliness: Lots of tasty options the kids will want to eat!“
“This food really hits the spot when you are vegan looking for that greasy Chinese take out food from childhood. It's amazing flavors and the quality is extremely consistent. Fully vegan also! Which is rare in this area.I only wish they were open more - or updated their hours when they change them. I have actually had to manually input changes for their hours in google after several weeks of the new change.TAKE OUT ONLY.Dietary restrictions: Vegan.Parking: There are a couple of spots out front of the establishment but they are typically full. The parking lot across the street is paid parking and there is a parking garage half a block down. It indicates you should pay for that parking in the garage.“
“Ordered a seasonal bowl with the tempeh protein, delicata squash, grated beats & such, nice sauce topping, all wonderfully prepared, nice music playing in the background at a pleasant happy volume. Every time I’ve come, it’s been pleasant, nice interactions with the workers as well, I appreciate that.Vegetarian options: Tempeh nicely prepared“
“I've always been really skeptical about raw veganism even in all my years of being vegan, but when this spot came so highly recommended, I had to try it!I've been missing out! We tried samples of the soft serve and the mint chocolate- mouth wateringly amazing. After having some smoothies along with tostadas (I will be talking about these forever) and a delightful Alfredo with coconut meat, I know we'll be returning again and again. I know their menu is updated often and I can't wait to try all the things! Everyone is so polite and we left with very happy and refreshed bellies. Thank you. ? Can't go wrong with food that's so yummy, makes you feel good, and doesn't do any harm to others!“
