“Fuego Underground is indeed "Fire!" I've been to dozens of Speakeasy establishments in New York, Las Vegas, and even in Central America. Fuego Underground has easily become a top 5 favorite experience for me!It isn't secreted behind an unmarked door or hidden behind a business front, but it has an authentic feel of a Speakeasy from the 20s and 30s. The servers are dressed as flappers, and the interior of the Underground beneath De Fuego bar attached to the Monarch hotel in Clackamas is opulent yet tasteful and reminiscent of the era. There is live piano music at opening, and smooth jazz trios and featured artists later in the evening. The service is on point. Everyone embraces the spirit of the experience being created within the Fuego Underground. The cocktails are heavily weighted toward the whiskey and bourbon drinking crowd, yet all drinks are given the prohibition era spin in presentation. The entrees are predominantly various cuts of beef with some exceptions, and they are of equal quality to any high-end steak house in Portland. The sides are varied and better than most compared to, say, El Goucho or Ringside. I had a Gâteau au Chocolat for desert that was delicious! (even though I had to take it home and eat it 2 hours later for being so full!)Overall, it was an amazing experience! If you love a good Speakeasy, you HAVE to try Fuego Underground. If you just like great steaks and craft cocktails, this is a hidden gem with easy parking, but reservations are recommended. This place is popular and for very good reason.“

“Great little neighborhood bar with vintage vibe. Rochelle was a great bartender! I gave only 4 stars instead of 5 because the music was awful for the 2.5 hours I was there. We would have stayed longer but listening to loud punk rock in a cool vintage bar didn't match and seemed most customers were also annoyed with music. That is a huge part of the experience.“

The owner/bartender was a really nice, very accommodating guy.Kid-friendliness: Its a bar.... So of course there's a huge area just for kids, LOL. Seriously though to spell it out for those people who don't know I'm joking here, children are not allowed, it's a bar. And if they were allowed, like say during the day, you might want to ask yourself, "would good parents bring their children to a bar?"“

I expected a long wait, but she kept moving and taking care of everybody all the while exchanging a few words of conversation. There was a good crowd of people with very few empty seats, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, and I think a lot of them knew each other. There’s a couple large screen TVs and some video games. Good selection of beer and a great food menu, I had a difficult time because there were so many things I wanted to try. We had the chicken gizzards as an appetizer and I got the turkey Reuben with tots and my friend got the Dirty Boat.If you’re in Troutdale, stop in.“

I HAD to stop and get munchies and drinks... and I got totally lost... That meant from my arrival to 5:30ish, I had to walk up to the bar and request a drink, water, napkin, food....But, even after my friends started showing up and the number of staff increased,(6p.m.) no one came to our table to take our order. But, no one really took any orders unless you went to the bar. Food was delivered, but it felt like we were a bother when we waited to order. The food was ok. The Mac and cheese tasted like it was heated up and then blasted with a torch to crisp up the top.“

“TLDR: Food was good, prices a bit high but not astronomical, game library surprisingly extensive, and the staff are awesome, but it's very, VERY loud, so be warned if you have audio issues of any sort.Went for the first time for Valentines Day (which was Halloween 2, kinda cool) with my partner. It was fun, the decor is awesome, everyone was super friendly and helpful, and the burger and fries were great if a bit expensive. I was expecting the price since it's a bar, not a restaurant, but was surprised at how good it was.I'll also point out it's super cool how you can rent a console and game and just play it. We swapped once while we were there, and even though we had to get moved to a different TV, they didn't charge us extra to do it and didn't give us flak about it. Very awesome! The downside for us was the noise levels. The music was so loud we had a hard time hearing each other even when sitting shoulder to shoulder, and obviously we couldn't hear the music from the games we played. My SO also has sensory overload issues sometimes and had effectively a noise hangover the next day despite wearing ear protection. Not something I'm going to be mad about, and we both had a lot of fun going, but it's definitely a once in a great while thing for us. Worth checking out at least once for sure!“

“I often visit Auto's for lunch to sit down, have a beer and enjoy one of the best burgers in Vancouver. Yes, the burgers here are even better than dedicated burger joints in town. Beef is fresh chuck, and the buns are a perfect bed for all of the ingredients. They're even embossed with Auto's logo. Juicy, cooked to perfection, and super flavorful. If you're a burger snob like ne, you'll really understand just how great their burgers are. I order the classic with cheese and a load of tots, and I'm set! Staff is amazing and the crowd is usually friendly and social. The interior is spacious, but could use a bit of updating as it does have old and worn feel when building first walk in. Still, it's a pub and I highly recommend a visit. A great value for sure!“
