“New owner is super nice and trying all kind of things to get the place going. New menu, remodeled the place a couple of times, bands or DJ most weekends, and currently a mechanical bull! The only negative is they don't have VP machines.“

“Super rad. Caters to gamers and tech enthusiasts in general, very friendly staff and open video games consoles, gaming PCs and gaming VODs all over. Definitely a more modern, alternative take on the bar scene and it works incredibly well if that's your gig.All the drinks and foods are named after video game icons and very tasty. Prices are average.I'll keep this place on my radar to visit againWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, ADA compliant restrooms“

“Expectations exceeded on many levels with three small negatives. First, the place is very charming with a warm and energetic vibe. Finding parking in front was tough, but maybe there was more nearby. Cocktails - The Old Fashioned on special with coconut and banana was excellent. However, the pour seemed small and only leveled to half of the rock glass. It could have been the standard 2 ounces, but I think not. Cocktail price points were $15-$20, so definitely higher than at like establishments. Bread and Burrata Board - a hit and a recommend. The Arugula complimented it well. Brussels Sprouts Salad - very light on apples, cranberries and walnuts, otherwise it would have been worthy. Braised Short Ribs with Polenta - tender with a scrumptious sauce. The star of the show, awesome! Smothered Chicken and Mushroom Sauce - the person who ordered it barely touched it and commented it might have been undercooked. Creamed Spinach - not quite at the Morton's level (my fav), but delicious nevertheless. Dessert: Sorbet - much better than expected, light and full of flavor, filling. Loved it. Dessert: Ooey Gooey Butter Cake - dense, sweet, a St. Louis original. They hit it out of the park, so good. I do wish they complemented with crème fraiche rather than the whipped cream they used. You can easily split this four ways. Service: newer gal, but very kind and efficient. Bummer - another server apologetically requested us to wrap it up as another reservation waiting for the table, we were only half way through dessert. Maybe understandable as it was a Saturday night. She seemed to feel bad about it.“

“Had a wonderful time at Alejandro's on a Saturday night. It was our first time in. The restaurant was decorated for the holidays. It's cute and clean and the staff were friendly. The champurrado was delicious and the chips, salsa and beans hit the spot for our hungry tummies as we waited for our dinners. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and the price was very reasonable. We will be back!“

“I don't share a lot on this, and I do not have an exceptional palate for food. In my opinion the food was amazing and well worth it. I will come back another time when I can. The atmosphere was nice not to loud or over crowded, i.e. this is not a place you go to hurry up and eat like other diners, I feel it's set up for easy conversation, and drinks were continuously filled.“

“We felt a little weird about taking our almost 8mo puppy inside this dog friendly bar. He’s really good usually and highly socialized and goes everywhere with us. We were excited to hear we could bring Scout in since we are fairly new dog parents and planning for icy cold and wet nights when we all need a night out. It went well and the bar is absolutely adorable. Reminds me of my bedroom in the 70’s ish. So, when I say it went well, the dog behaved but for some reason decided to vomit three huge piles. I was mortified. The bar tender came with a wet rag and we were apologizing and cleaning and they were so sweet. They made me feel less mortified about what had happened. I guess it could have been worse but no, he’s house trained thank goodness. We will keep this dog friendly bar on our list of places to visit often as well as the food truck in the back. The whole experience minus the dog barfing was excellent. Thanks guys for the dog friendly bar in Portland :)!!“

“Went here for brunch on a recommendation. Great selection of menu options. The food was delicious, and it was definitely a great value.Service was ok. “We so love The Underground. The steaks are as good as the Ringside's and the sides are better. And they usually have good jazz; the last two times Tom Grant played. Service too is excellent: prompt and knowledgeable servers. It's just great. Close to ClackMa Town Center.“

“We came on a cold night after being locked in from snow for a week. We didn't have reservations, but got a table in a different room -- with 2 young kids, that was fine. They had a few hiccups -- probably due to the weather (out of kids menus, food took almost an hour to come out) -- but the staff was very polite and the food was excellent.Appetizer - baked brie - while my wife & I enjoyed both the bread and brie, both kids only liked the bread (with a side of butter).Kids - mac & cheese with chicken, chicken strips & fries. Both were tasty. My wife had a steak & said it was incredible, called it "her birthday steak" (it wasn't her bday), and a savory tomato salad.I had the cod, which was on the small side (small food on a big plate )-- but tasted amazing and was really a dining experience. When we got the bill, it was a lot -- but it was undeniably a feast and we all felt like our food was great. We agreed we will definitely return (next time with a reservation).“

“My husband and I spotted this gem driving by a few weeks ago and finally stopped in to give it a try. First impression, everybody there had a smile on their face and the bartender genuinely cared you had a good experience. We wanted to try a good majority of food so we got general tso chicken, szechuan chicken, salt + pepper fried pork, and egg foo young. The food was fried to a perfect crisp, the spice levels were perfect (I like it spicy), and the sauces were so tasty. I gave 4 stars for food because the egg foo young wasn't my favorite but was still good. Overall, we can't wait to return for food, free pool, and my favorite..... karaoke!“
