“AMAZING - food is so fast, fresh and very generously priced. I always get kalua pork with pineapple slaw and it’s one of my favorite meals I’ve ever had. It’s hard having dietary restrictions, but there’s so much here I can eat!! I love Miget’s and it’s definitely one of my favorite spots in Forest Grove.“
“Good food, but the ladies at the counter have zero customer service skills. They ignore people or rush them through orders, and they hand off food by setting it on the counter and ignoring it after that. Every time I come here, they are the same.“
“Tried this cute little place out when it went under new ownership. The owners are the sweetest people around! The waitress and staff are always super friendly and ask if we need anything or how we like everything. We have been here 3 times and each time the food is always delicious. We have mostly sat down and eaten sushi. There is limited seating in front of where they make sushi and I love seeing all the dolls and trinkets on the shelves behind them, makes for an authentic experience. I’m in love with the boat displays when you order a ton of sushi. My husband and I have ordered from basic California rolls to their specialty rolls. They take a bit of time to come out but they are made great and taste fantastic. I’ve never gone home and gotten an upset tummy after eating here which is also a plus! They do have bento boxes and noodles. I did try the teriyaki chicken and it was perfect in my opinion! Just enough sauce and tender. Will keep coming back to support this business!“
“Walking into this place was not what I was expecting considering the location of this place! It made me feel like I was back in the city and not in a rural area. When you go inside you will notice it is small. That being said their dishes they are serving are the opposite. The amount of food on this plate was amazing . They also have a self serve miso soup that is so delicious! Not to mention it is complementary I also noticed they serve some bubble tea drinks as well, but I was too full to even think about dessert I look forward to trying dessert next time if I'm in the area! Definitely a gem for this small town of Banks, OR.“
“This restaurant in Hillsboro offers an authentic Japanese dining experience, boasting sushi of comparable size and quality to that found in Japan or other parts of Asia, unlike the typical sushi portions in the USA. I savored the sashimi, sushi, tempura, and grilled hamachi cheek, perfectly complemented by ample servings of beer and sake. The freshness of the fish surprised me, particularly the standout otoro sushi, where the rich flavor of the fish melded beautifully with the rice and sake. A must-visit for anyone craving Japanese cuisine in this area, with attentive service and a delightful ambience to top it off!“
“I enjoyed this place a lot, the food was good and the service was great, very understanding for newcomers and very kind. The food was delicious, can't recommend the crazy boy sushi enough! The atmosphere was nice, the decorations were pretty. Overall the place was very nice I do recommend coming here.“
“Going to Lu's Teriyaki puts an instant smile on my face. Lu is very friendly and warm. She has the sweetest smile. Perfect chicken teriyaki bowl. Their pancit and lumpia combination brings me back to birthday celebrations back home. The lumpia is sooo good! You would want to take more. The halo halo and specially the turon are also a must try! One of the best Filipino food options!!!“
“Rock & Roll, Double Crunchy Spicy Tuna, 2nd & Lincoln and a California Roll with Sapporo drafts for three people. The rolls are eight pieces. This is the place to go for sharing. Sushi is the absolute best west of Portland. So fresh! I usually hit the sushi restaurants with the conveyors for variety but the quality suffers. My preference is to grab two or three or four folks to share the excellent food and service Sawa offers. 4 stars is only due to beer selection. Just a few Japanese lagers to choose from.“
