“Tried this cute little place out when it went under new ownership. The owners are the sweetest people around! The waitress and staff are always super friendly and ask if we need anything or how we like everything. We have been here 3 times and each time the food is always delicious. We have mostly sat down and eaten sushi. There is limited seating in front of where they make sushi and I love seeing all the dolls and trinkets on the shelves behind them, makes for an authentic experience. I’m in love with the boat displays when you order a ton of sushi. My husband and I have ordered from basic California rolls to their specialty rolls. They take a bit of time to come out but they are made great and taste fantastic. I’ve never gone home and gotten an upset tummy after eating here which is also a plus! They do have bento boxes and noodles. I did try the teriyaki chicken and it was perfect in my opinion! Just enough sauce and tender. Will keep coming back to support this business!“
“It was 8 pm on a Friday night & we were on the road & hungry. We drove thru Forest Grove, looking for a non-fast food dinner. Pac Thai was open! We ordered Mussamun Curry & Lemon Grass Pad Thai - both delicious with enough left over to take home for 2nd meals. The service was excellent and speedy. Highly recommend.“
“Rock & Roll, Double Crunchy Spicy Tuna, 2nd & Lincoln and a California Roll with Sapporo drafts for three people. The rolls are eight pieces. This is the place to go for sharing. Sushi is the absolute best west of Portland. So fresh! I usually hit the sushi restaurants with the conveyors for variety but the quality suffers. My preference is to grab two or three or four folks to share the excellent food and service Sawa offers. 4 stars is only due to beer selection. Just a few Japanese lagers to choose from.“
