“Went here for breakfast on a rainy day and was instantly seated and attended to. I got the daily special, the chicken carnitas, with flour tortillas. The plate was hot and the food was excellent. The chicken was very tender and had a very rich flavor. Classic beans and rice with a side of lettuce and guacamole. Thick and chunky, the good stuff. I thoroughly recommend this establishment for their excellent service and wonderful food.Parking: 8-10 spots along a strip mall parking lot.Kid-friendliness: The interior is decorated in beautiful cultural decor that showcases the classic colors and friendlyness of the Hispanic culture.“
“Went there today and the guy working was so nice.. he literally is a quesadilla genius.. the best thing I have ever had in Salem so far.. definitely recommend going there and trying them if you haven’t already.. p.s the Sith Lord is the best thing ever.. make it a menu item“
“The food was really good for American Mexican cuisine, the flavor was on point but didn't feel it was authentic, the service was great, they need to update the place think it's the same as it has been since they opened and the bathroom wasn't as clean as id expect but I'd go again for basic good Mexican American food..Parking: They got parking..“
“This was really great, and we’ve had good Mexican food in larger cities — and Mexico. I appreciate the veggie menu. My burrito was full of squash, carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, and topped with cheese and guacamole — totally delish! Nice touch also with the chilled beer mug and lime wedge. Good drink menu. Last but certainly not least, all of the staff were friendly and attentive.“
“All of the dishes we have tried are delicious. Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner at various times. Their tacos de barbacoa are great. The fried taquitos are not greasy. Good portions, fast and friendly service. Parking is a little tight, but you will be delighted with their food. $13-25 for two of us, depending on what we order. Small eating area, but when weather gets better, more outside seating.Wheelchair accessibility: Have wheelchair ramp.“
“I had the chorizo breakfast burrito and I ATE?️? It was very delicious and the their salsas were spicy with great flavor. Bussin fr‼️❤️? Guava agua fresca slayed??✨ And they do a 10% WOU Wednesdays for students which was nice :)“
“Chips were so fresh, light and crisp. Were amazing. I also did a simple ground beef Enchilada with rice and beans and as usual, quick hot and to perfection. My Margarita could have been a little larger for the price. But was still delicious.“
“This place is great! The food reasonably priced & delicious. The staff friendly, Nice clean place w/plenty of seating. Driving through Monmouth & hungry? Check em out you won't be sorry, It'll become a regular stop in your travel's. I've become a regular over the yrs.“
“Stopped at the food truck tonight on my way back to Salem, the owner lady was very nice. She recommended the 4 street tacos El pastor, SO GOOD!!!! They are super nice there and very easy to talk to. I will definitely be back. Thank you very much!!!!“
“La Hacienda Real used to have the best steak fajitas in the valley in my opinion. They are still good, but now you get more onions and peppers then meat. The best La Hacienda Real is the Keizer location.Still very decent food. Went there today for a work lunch and was content. I say content rather than impressed because the food is always good.“
“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Monthouth/Independence area. We've enjoyed going here for years. I plan on continuing. Food is a good price, beans are very good. You can get food outside that is street taco style or inside that is traditional sit down Mexican restaurant food. Both are yummy!“
“The food was delicious, as always. I ordered the #8 Carne Asada. My only criticism is that I wish they served it on a plate instead of a styrofoam container, since I ate in.The staff was friendly and the lobby was clean. I do recommend this location.11/12/2023 UPDATE: They've addressed my previous concerns. Today I was served on a plate!“
“Been coming here consistently for 7 years and the food is always good. The carne asada nachos are absolute best. The Giant burritos always hit the spot. The Horchata and churros are fantastic too. This my families go to Mexican restaurant. One of the best places in Monmouth.“
“Had the best experience. Was instantly greeted upon entering seated in a nice comfortable booth, staff was attentive. Ordered carne asada with corn tortillas and it came with chips and salsa also had a margarita. Chips and salsa were really good. The star of the show the carne asada was tenderfully cooked juicy and lightly spiced the rice and beans salad and guac all very fresh crisp and delicious. The corn tortillas were fresh warm and soft. The margarita was classic very tasty and I felt a really good value. Overall 100% satisfied for the quality taste and price. Also the service was very quick the staff were super friendly I had a very memorable experience and I would certainly return.“
