“Love it. I get the V1 or pho at least a couple times a month. Tempura ? shrimp perfectly fried. Light, crispy, not greasy. This family-run restaurant is the best place to dine East of 82nd on Sandy. Clean, pretty, beautifully decorated. Order online food ready within 15 minutes. Great service and welcoming, unlike many other Vietnamese restaurants around town.“
“Wonderful service and food. Visiting Portland and this place was highly recommended. The poke bowls are fresh and absolutely delicious. Many choices are available and we've already been here twice! Parking is questionable but so easy to pick up food and go! Looking forward to our next visit.“
“It's my 1st visit. I can't say I'll come often as I live in Denver. However, it's amazing food. The burrito has that amazing crispy grill on the outside. The inside had the best fillings. Fresh. I had the Oregon burrito. I'd like to come try another one. My mom had the chile relleno bowl. So cheesy. Definitely worth the drive from Vancouver.“
“This has been on my list to try for a long time and it did not disappoint! This has easily made my top 3 favorite brunch spots in Portland. When you enter, you can order on their screens to the right side of the cafe. They have both sweet and savory crepes, as well as coffee and other beverages. We got the okonomiyaki, breakfast, and matcha anko crepes. I also got the strawberry matcha latte and pandan latte. Everything was delicious. I was blown away by the matcha anko crepe, love the blend of matcha and red bean flavors - can't stop thinking about this crepe. The okonomiyaki was my second favorite and would get it again. I can pass on the breakfast crepe next time. The drinks were so delicious and I would definitely try the flight next time. Love the ambiance of this restaurant with the plant decor. The servers were so friendly and kind! I can't wait to come back again!“
“One of the best place in Portland if you want to enjoy the food . If they make fried meat, this meat inside will be juicy . Yesterday I order for first time there fried calamari, and that been best I ever eat fried calamari , and restaurants were my check was been 400-800$ didn't make this type of dish that good . 10 of 5 for this place , I'm driving to eat there from wood village“
“Every time we come back, we’re always welcomed with a friendly, “Welcome back!” On top of the friendly service, the drinks are simply, BOMB! Hooked on the Passion Fruit Soda and Thai Tea. Soooooo goooooood. Highly recommend this place!!!“
“Super yummy drinks with lots of dairy free options. Staff are always friendly. If the dining room is open it’s a cozy place to hang out, and nice to have the drive thru option as well. A gem in the neighborhood!Dietary restrictions: Vegan options for boba drinks“
“This restaurant serves popcorn chicken that is delicious, however I didn't realize the butter chicken would be sweet like caramel corn, and the lemon chicken could use a little more lemon taste. The rice is flavorless, and the salad is radishes in a vinegar dressing. It's very tiny with a couple of tables for 2, and the rest is counter seating. We had no idea it was so casual but we did enjoy our food.“
“This is an unassuming place due to its name and decor, but let me assure you it is quite the hidden gem! At first glance it looks like just another Froyo place, and they also serve Churros as per their biggest advertisements.... But don't let this fool you. This is a Vietnamese establishment, making conventional desserts with Vietnamese flair as well as traditional Vietnamese desserts. It's difficult to find Ube or Pandan in the area, but this place has a few desserts for both. Do not sleep on their Che, it is phenomenally tasty! The service is very friendly, and they are happy to serve and delight you. Seating is plentiful and cute, especially by the fish tank. If you're into tropical desserts, definitely give this place a try! But if you're into their Froyo, definitely still go! You can't go wrong !“
“What a nice hidden gem! We tried their spicy and soy garlic flavored Korean fried chicken and both were delicious and crispy. Portions were generous, and the rice, potato salad, and pickled radish that came with the bowl were a nice accompaniment. Spend the extra $1.50 for a side of kimchi. It is yummy! We are looking forward to coming back and trying the other flavors of chicken, and also their tteokbokki, beef bulgogi, and Korean style hot dogs.Only negatives are no indoor seating, and outdoor seating is sparse and not really suitable for big people.Vegetarian options: You can get fried tofu instead of chicken.Kid-friendliness: Easy to eat, non spicy options.“
“The food is always hot, ready, and amazing. I have pretty much only gotten the steak and rice bowl, but it's so good i have to come back and get it every time. wonderful service, and the two who own the business are wonderful to talk to as well!“
“Walking in, you feel like you’re walking into your own living room. It’s very welcoming and cozy. Every single person there is genuinely friendly. This place has great vibes, great coffee, and great people! What more could you want? LOVE it there!!!“
“Braganza is awesome! Everyone is so nice and helpful. This is the place that got me hooked on matcha. Most places I've been to don't dissolve the matcha very well and I get clumps in my drink, but here, it's always dissolved nicely when I get it. Their dragonfruit smoothie is back too so I have another drink to add to my rotation. It's subtle, and it's so pretty. I'll have to take a picture next time. Definitely my go-to boba shop.“
“I’m a complete boba snob so after moving here to Portland I was really disappointed with the boba options as a lot of them aren’t legit boba or there’s just too much fusion going on. But this. Milk tea from this place is exactly what boba should be! This is the best boba place here and part of me is a bit happy that it’s kinda a ways away from where I live and work because if it wasn’t I’d probably come here every day. Absolutely delicious.I got the winter melon milk tea with black boba, coconut jelly and cheese foam. Can you imagine this is the only boba place in the city I’ve found that actually offers wintermelon and hokkaido as flavors? The travesty that other places that call themselves boba cafes don’t have it! I’m so happy Ding Tea does. ?❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️?“
“The kumquat key lime lemon tea is just unbelievable and the ingredients are so fresh! I get it with the strawberry bobas. I sent other people to try the drink and they agree that it's amazing. I have had the passion fruit tea, also, which was very good. All the staff I have encountered were very nice. I will definitely continue to come.“
“For the final boba of my recent trip to Portland, I chose to go to Royaltea and I'm glad I did. This turned out to be the best drink of the 3 places I went. I found the store a bit hard to find, but that was probably my own fault. Since it's located right next to the entrance of the SF Supermarket Mall, I thought it was inside the mall instead of being on the outside. Anyways, after walking around a bit, I found the real entrance and got one drink.Royal King (Original Milk Tea), 50% Sweet w/ Boba ($6.50) - As soon as I had my first sip, I knew this was going to be a 5. They use a pre-brewed black tea from a tea dispenser, but the tea is quite strong in this drink. It definitely felt and tasted quite a bit more concentrated in tea flavor vs. a lot of other places. Half sweet was nice - it's a good sweetness level that didn't overwhelm the tea. The boba had a great soft chew - maybe just a bit overcooked, but not by much. I thought it would get harder while sitting in the cold drink, but the texture barely budged. Additionally, the boba is soaked in brown sugar, which helps sweeten the drink further. The drinks at Royaltea are not perfect, but way better than most other places. If they opened a shop near me, I would definitely be a regular.“
“Went to Boba Tea Crew Stan at the mall and it was quite nice. I got the strawberry banana smoothie. The guy working at the shop was quite nice and friendly and fast at making my drink. The price was ($5.50). Would recommend this location to get something to drink.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian optionsParking: Not really a lot of places to park.Kid-friendliness: Angry place to stop by and get to the to drink for your kids.Wheelchair accessibility: It's an open space area, so it is wheelchair accessible.“
“love this place but the last few times i’ve been in , there’s been some problems. i tried to redeem a free drink with their reward system, but after i payed i noticed i payed full price. i tried using the free drink the next day, but it said it had already been redeemed which made me sad bc i didn’t get to use it ?. today i ordered creama on my drink (and played for it) and it literally didn’t have any on it ?? i tried calling the store but nothing went through :(“
“I went today and I was greeted by a tablet (you order yourself)I first ordered a matcha drink and a mango pomelo the mango pomelo was very very tasty and fresh but the matcha was so overpowering it tasted fishy I had to return it. They use real ingredients and maybe I’m not used to that because I have never tasted matcha like that in the past in other places. The lady was very sweet and made me a taro drink. It was very delicious and also tasted much different than other places I’ve visited, but that’s okay! I love that they use ReaI ingredients and I appreciate the sweet lady making me a new one because I don’t like returning items but now I know I don’t like real matcha lol.“
“I've come here several times for their Vietnamese coffee, and they've been great everytime. This time, I got the Caphe Trung, which is their iced coffee with egg yolk cream. If you've never tried it before, it might sound strange, but the combo works well and is quite tasty. I thought the prices were fair for the size of the drink, after all Vietnamese coffee should be sipped on. Overall, I think the coffee here is very good and I was happy with my drink each time.“
“First time coming out to the Food Hall and it was an amazing experience. The range in food options will always help to ensure that everyone in your party can find something delicious.Although the hall is open seating, it creates an inviting atmosphere. Ambient low-lightning helps to create a safe and warm environment for a person to enjoy themselves. The pricing for food and drink items are skill solid. The counters, tables, and bathrooms are always being serviced and each vendor has their own unique presentation. All of the staff were extremely helpful and kind, but I HAVE to spotlight Brandon. The staff all rotate and work in each part of the Hall, where ether it be for ramen, drinks, or ice cream dates. Brandon is a true Swiss-army knife. His drink recommendations were wonder spot-on and he was super helpful when recommending dishes to order. Truly, being helped by Brandon helped to elevate an already great experience. The Food Hall will definitely be a staple restaurant for every future visit to downtown Portland. So happy that I decided to eat here!“
“The tuna banh mi is out of this worldddd. I’m obsessed with it. The bread is exceptional, the tuna exceptional, the spicy mayo: exceptional. If something ever happens to the tuna banh mi I don’t know how I could carry on. The tea and boba is great too. Everything is great. But that tuna banh mi: it is perfection.“
“Awesome place for boba, with plenty of seating to work and a minimalistic vibe. The Hong Kong style boba was made well and tapioca fresh. The lavender lemonade was refreshing. Wish there were places like this on the east coast! They have some baked goods as well as tea to purchase. Great service, good drink and comfortable space... what more can you ask for?Quiet street as well, with clean bathrooms.“
“Small lil tea shop that is so cute. Super kind and helpful service with amazing milk teas. The boba is excellent too. They were closed for like a week during the ice storm so come support if you can. Very tasty brown sugar and Thai milk teas!“
“This is my first time and buddu:s Happy Hour 3-6:00PM bar and lounge on April 8th 2023. I have experience d the best customer service that I can ever imagine. Buddy's has some great ciders and they also have a great chicken nachos. I want to give a high shot out and a 5-star rating to AJ my server and I just want to just put that out there. So if you ever want to come out for a good time, buddy's on 82nd is the place. peace out. Chazz“
“Really fun place, so many snacks to chose from like the various crepes and hotdogs. Also a huge selection of drinks and next door and in the store there are coin op video games, pool and pinball. Neat little spot. Parking is off street only.“
“This bakery reminds me of the Chinese bakeries of my childhood and everything is delicious: hot dog buns, taro buns, red bean buns, all variety of cheese variations on said buns, coconut buns AND coconut custard buns, pineapple buns, roast pork buns, beef curry buns (so spicy!) ...“
“I ordered a salmon rice ball (forgot to take photo) and a strawberry matcha latte with boba ? the salmon rice ball was super good and I immediately wished I had ordered two. The matcha is wonderful as well! Ordered it half sweet and it was perfect to me, I would imagine full sweetness would be more like a dessert to me. You can tell the tea they use it's high quality. The staff are also very friendly and knowledgeable about the product“
“Sunita is no longer the owner, having sold the restaurant recently. The menu is the same, and the new owner said they are mostly using Sunita’s recipes. I’m giving this a hopeful 5 stars, after a good meal where we really noticed no change or decrease in quality. I’ll be so happy if they manage to recreate Sunita’s food, even without her magic touch!“
“I started coming here in the summer of 2023. They have the best quality organic coffee beans and specialty coffee orders as well. Lo-Fi music playing in the background makes it a nice and peaceful respite from regular Starbucks. Check out the best coffee in downtown Portland.Wheelchair accessibility: The entire process can be completed via wheelchair with the exception of the rear exit.“
“Amazing service boba depending on how many people in ordering and people working can take from 2-5 minutes. The boba pearls are amazing best boba of all time. It gives you the feel of a cute cafe shop and just so cute and cozy they even have boba plushies highly recommend.“
“This restaurant is so good. I really want to visit Portland again just for this one. You know if you want to know how they are good at Chinese food at the restaurant, you have to order and eat the basic food such as fired rice and spicy noodle. They are perfect at them.Food is really enough for each person, Price is reasonable, taste is good and the service is good as well.Order Chongqing dried ramen and shrimp fried rice! It comes with large shrimp, not small shrimp!Chongqing horse ramen has a clear broth and the fried rice has a really light oil!!“
“I had a delightful experience at Bobacat. The ambiance was enjoyable, and the customer service was excellent. The dark cocoa and mango milk tea were delicious, showcasing a good variety of options. Overall, a great spot for quality drinks and a pleasant atmosphere.4 stars because I feel like the space could use a deep clean. Especially on the floors and walls!“
“Simply delicious. Me & my daughter became the fan of this place in this very first visit. Wish they have locations closer to our house but seems like a good reason to visit Washington square often. We got taro smooth tea with pearl boba, chai smooth tea with Pearl boba & dragon smooth tea with mango jelly.“
“Braganza Tea at Lloyd Center is one of my favorite boba places in the Portland Metro area! Awesome place for simple teas and fun smoothies; can't beat their prices at most quality boba places. My favorite sweet treat is the Straw-Taro Smoothie with boba. It tastes almost like a fruity vanilla milkshake! My favorite for a simple boba fix is the Black Milk Tea with soy, zero sweetness, and regular boba. I love that one topping is included with no extra charge and that they have a couple of dairy alternatives for the milk teas. Their fruit teas are also awesome in the summer! Will definitely keep returning for boba tea as long as the quality and prices stay great.Picture: Black Milk Tea with Soy and Boba (left), Straw-Mango-Coconut Smoothie (right).Dietary restrictions: Some dairy alternatives.Parking: Lloyd Center parking.“
“This place is an ABSOLUTE TREASURE!! The banh mi is some of the tastiest I’ve ever had at the best price I’ve ever seen. Phuoc, the nun who runs the cart, speaks very little english but is the sweetest person in the world. She takes her time making each dish one by one and while you’re waiting you can sit or walk around the beautiful temple that the cart is connected to. Whether you’re vegan or not, I highly recommend making this spot a regular visit!!“
“Great staff and love the location! However, PLEASE bring back the old strawberry milk recipe! I don’t know what it is but it just taste bland now (I’ve had different people make it so I know it’s not just me ?) but anyways! This is my go to place always! ❤️“
“It was nice! I ordered hot chocolate for me and my friend and I loved it. I wanted to get other chocolate pieces, but it was too pricy for me. Still, the worker was friendly and very nice. The place was very conveniently close to our hotel. The hot chocolate really hit the spot while we were working.“
“This place is slamming! The food and service are excellent. Having had the opportunity to eat these delicious foods from NYC, FL and other major cities in the US this place is on the top 10 of my list. I'm only here for a week and already need a 2nd round of Delish sushi. Thanks for being the best ?“
“Happy lemon is a fan favorite of mine for boba and alike drinks! They always have new and interesting flavor options however I stay pretty basic and love their milk tea and also any lemonade no matter the weather outside. The employees are always helpful and can pretty much make any adjustments to sweetness, add ins or ice level! There is very limited seating- a small loveseat and two chair with a table. Probably not the best spot to meet up friends.“
“Got a chance to check this out on Sunday, it's a pretty cool place! The parking wasn't bad, i was able to find parking on the street, and it appears there is parking the back as well. We came in around 11, and there were a few people in line, but it wasn't overly busy. The person working behind the counter was friendly and was working hard. They have a ton of options, I was boring and just went with black tea, but it looked like they also had Vietnamese Coffee, which i didn't see on the menu? There are some good places to sit inside, they have a claw machine, some games and some cool trinkets and such. The friends I was with all loved their Boba as well!“
“Having just moved here, I was really excited to have a Vietnamese dessert/drinks place to try! I got their Che Thai and my partner had their Coconut/Sugarcane Juice with boba. Their tapioca pearls are nicely prepared, the perfect chewiness. It was very flavourful, however the che only had 2 pieces of jackfruit and 1 longan! Service was quick, there is a rewards program, and a few tables to sit. The parking lot is fairly small but at least there is one! No patio.“
“We called in a take out order yesterday and there was some confusion when we picked it up and ended up with one of the wrong entrees. We called them and they were very apologetic. We went back tonight and they comped our entire dinner. That’s great customer service! Bonus that the vermicelli bowls are great too.“
“This is a great little tea shop. Relaxing atmosphere and comfortable furniture. The music was a notch too loud but I liked what was playing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They had gluten free options which I appreciate. The Assam tea latte was “
“This is the second time I have their boba.We ordered to go so didn’t notice they left out my boba until we got back. The tea itself is pretty good. Although not a personal favorite I still think it’s good.I like the interior design of the shop though, very creative~“
“Nathan is my favorite employee at Sassy Souk’s! He works hard to go the extra mile in every aspect, it’s so refreshing. Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere!Sassy Souk’s Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea is the best - I can’t find anywhere else that makes it like they do here.Their happy hour deals, excellent food, cozy aesthetic and highly skilled staff make it a great place to frequent.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a gently sloping wheelchair ramp as the primary entrance from the street.“
“The kids who work there are a hoot. The atmosphere and decor is obviously invested in and they have a lot of dietary-friendly options too. They change the decorations every season and make a mean aloe juice.Vegetarian options: If you let the barista know they'll help guide ya around milk. No meat in the teas. Lol.“
“Great options whether or not you're into tea. The drinks default at cold, but upon request can be made warm. I do recommend either the boba balls or the soft coconut cubes. Very cool atmosphere in the center of the building which gives it an almost secret or hidden vibe. An absolute gem.Parking: I know Whole Foods has a huge parking lot underneath it that last for like three entire blocks underground. Access via NW 12th. Actually there are two entrances. Alternatively, consider the Portland Streetcar as a solid, reliable option for this area.“
“Brown sugar boba, no ice, toast foam with extra toast foam is ? ? ? ? ? notice that I gave them 5 ? That's because OCha is the but far the best bubble tea place in OREGON!! NO OTHER TEA PLACE CAN EVEN COME CLOSE TO MAKING THEIR DRINKS AS DELICIOUS AS OCHA. The only thing I would change is their hours of operation, I wish they stayed open till 10“
“Tonight was my first time trying Pho Gia. It was incredible! The staff are very friendly and so funny, food is delicious, and fresh. The food is very reasonably priced. One thing that is a bit different is that the entrees came out at different times for each member of our party. This wasn't a very big deal to us since we were mostly sharing anyway. We had a party of 7, each with different dishes and they were all delicious. It's a shame that I'm not on this side of Portland more often otherwise, I would be coming here all the time. I'll definitely be back though!Kid-friendliness: I saw a lot of families here. Looks like a great family place. I brought 2 very small kids. It looks like they don't have a lot of extra high chairs though, if necessary.“
