“Coming here was so much fun! Dave from The Place in Portland spoke highly of checking out one of the tasting room days and did not exaggerate. The tasting room and grounds are beautiful with lots of parking. It was fun getting to learn more about the cidery from the owners. Everyone who was there was really into cider which was super cool! I don't run into that very much. All of their cider was super tasty. I especially enjoyed tasting their new series of ciders. The food they had was super tasty was well. Everything provided was the perfect pairing for their delicious cider. Make sure to keep an eye out for when they're open. Coming here is definitely not to be missed!”
“We enjoyed this place good wine with extras. They have blankets to sit in the grass if you don't want a table along with sun screen to use wile hanging out. they also have you pick cherries that is super fun”
“House roasted coffees. Tasty coffees; okay breakfast items and pastries.Small and intimate coffee shop conveniently located.Attentive to children. Poco is a handsome lab with impeccable manors.”
“Grabbed takeout over the weekend, and the food was a little underwhelming. I’d be interested in trying it again but dining on location. The outdoor patio space was great and the staff was very friendly! One perk is that the online ordering system was really easy to use and allowed modifications to be easily made. (For example, it was very easy for me to order the vegetarian version of the teriyaki bowl).”
“An excellent, all-vegan cafe. Easy on/off I-84. Really nice interior. Fast, friendly service. Tasty, fresh sandwiches and house-made chips. Gluten free bread options too. Nothing to fault; definitely check it out if you're passing through Hood River in the morning/early-afternoon. Updated from previous review on 2023-09-18”
“One of my favorite stops in White Salmon. Great friendly service, excellent selection of delicious wines and very tasty bites. Would be my regular if I lived here.”
“We had a marvelous dinner experience at Celilo while we were visiting Hood River. Lovely Northwest vibes in the dining room, with delish dishes and impeccable service. Highly recommended!”
“So delicious! I really want to have this restaurant where I live. The pasta with pistachio pesto was the best! It's the best food I've encountered in Portland.”
“I would go as far to say, this is the best bbq spot in the gorge. They nail it every single time, and everything is just delicious. I send my SO early to get in line and bring home a tray for us to share! We love bbq and in the past have gone out of town for it, now we don’t have to travel far. Must try!”
“I came in to order some food to go and ended up staying. The ambiance was fantastic, and so was the customer service... And the food will have me coming back over and over. The prices were reasonable and the hot sauce and salsa for a homemade treat. I ordered a margarita, and then a second...wow...again, homemade recipe! My daughter and I ordered two different fidishes, and they were both phenomenal.Parking: Parking along side of street in front of the restaurant.”
“We rented the upstairs room for my 40th birthday party. We had lots of people, tons of kids, and were wild and crazy! The service was impeccable. Our server Kelsie was a pro. The food was delicious, as always. They were kind, accommodating, flexible with whatever we needed. The cost of the room, and the prices of food are also the best in the gorge, and for the quality and service, there is no better value. Honestly I just want to come up with another reason to have a party, so we can host it here!! I’m recommending Pfreim to everyone. That was such a blast! Thank you Pfreim. You are obviously professionals in this business. It was perfect.”
“I have never before seen a place that strikes such a great balance: creating a family-friendly environment full of three-year-olds while retaining its appeals to adults without their families. Love this spot both when with family or out with friends.”
“This place is great! Thai and Japanese fusion dishes with well developed flavor, and springy, chewy noodles. I love that if you order your food "hot," it's actually spicy. It's super nice to have a good option open after 8pm, too. We've tried several of their dishes over the years. The duck ramen, khao soy, and mazemen are our favorites. The chili wontons and karaage are consistently good. The takoyaki can be a little light on octopus but heavy on toppings and prepared well.Vegetarian options: Several veggie or vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten-free rice noodle options available for most dishesParking: Small parking lot and street parking. Can be difficult on crowded days.”
“I always try to stop by Love and Hominy when I'm in Hood River. The tacos are really fun fusion flavors with great veg options. We had some fantastic NA drinks this time, even served with a frosty boot mug! I didn't get a picture of the tacos because we inhaled them. Yum!The staff here is always so nice! Seriously, the best service.Vegetarian options: All tacos can be made vegetarian by choosing tempeh or tofu as the protein.Dietary restrictions: Most tacos can be made vegan.”
“I've never been disappointed with Beneventi's service or food. As a matter of fact, I had the best sandwich of my life here. It was the spicy Italian grinder. That sandwich was perfect, in my opinion.”
“Great food every time we come here. The service is top notch. We Love this place and the owners are very friendly and give you a sense of family while enjoying your meal. If you are in the area you half to stop in and enjoy a fantastic meal here.”
“This place is absolutely amazing. The steak was superb, the sides were to die for, the dessert was delicious…id recommend Mesquitery Restaurant & Bar to anybody looking for a great place to eat dinner with the family”
“We stopped at this vineyard on a tour from Portland to mt.hood and it was easily one of our favorites! Their lunch options were so good… charcuterie boards and different sandwiches. They had great views and alpacas in the field in the back! They accomadated our larger tour group so we could all sit together and chat which o thought was a very nice touch rather than us spreading out in our smaller groups.”
“Stopped for lunch & did not regret it! This place is AMAZING!! The staff are kind, the food was made to order and absolutely PHENOMENAL!! If I could give more stars, I would. Exceptional ????”
“On a whim, I made reservations to enjoy Votum's tasting menu to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were really blown away by the level of service, the attention to detail, and the clear passion they have for fine dining and food artistry. It's definitely a special occasion kind of place, but they REALLY did make the occasion feel special - complete with customized printed menus, delicious and creative food, and Michelin star-level service and presentation. We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces! Thank you for a lovely evening. We'd gladly come back for another special occasion in the future.”
“Arguably the best cup of coffee in town. Ground was the coffee shop I tried when I first visited Hood River many years ago. Nothing has changed in all that time. Great spot and staff. Lots of room too.”
“I've been to the Society Hotel twice now and really enjoy it. The room is decent (shared bathrooms) and the spa are is fantastic. I've been back just for the spa/sauna/ cold plunge! Most of the staff are very friendly and they make great coffee and snacks. Bring ear plugs because the train is loud and frequent.”
“I've wanted to try Bette's for quite some time, so I decided to go to Hood River and see what the hype was about with these cinnamon rolls.Holy moly, these rolls are HUGE! You can easily split one roll with two people. The rolls are not overly sweet, which I like. The dough is soft, light, and buttery, all in one bite. I will drive the hour to come out here again for the rolls and other menu items.I suggest getting there early since the rolls do sell out fast, especially on a weekend. Be patient when arriving on a busy morning since it is a smaller restaurant, but trust me, the wait will be worth it! There's street parking and some parking lots throughout downtown Hood River. There are parking fees.I'm looking forward to my next trip out to Hood River to enjoy more home-style meals.”
“What a wonderful surprise to find such a wonderful place in Hood River. The space is comfortable and first class! Danielle is knowledgeable and provides an education in wines of the world while being engaging and so welcoming! We loved the wines, the special glasses and the inimitable owner and hostess. Excellent selection and oh so delicious!Five stars and two thumbs up. We will be back!”
“Full Sail is my favorite brew pub in Hood River. They have fantastic beer and fantastic food. My favorite beer is the Cervesa, a Mexican lager served with a lime. This place also has my favorite version of fried pickles, served with a chipotle mayo. We also ate the Salmon Fish and Chips, where the fish was cooked perfectly. The restaurant can get really busy, especially on the weekends. I recommend getting on the Yelp waitlist. Or you can go inside to get on the waitlist and depending on the wait, spend some time exploring downtown Hood River. Can’t wait to come back!Parking: There is a paid parking lot across the street, but during certain times and days it’s free. There is also street parking.”
“Lovely relaxed atmosphere and some things you won’t get on the menu at other places . Norwegian fare. Yes they have gluten free toast available. Located in/next to Mt Hood Hotel. Hotel is very dog friendly”
“Mellow vibes and good wine. We ended up taking home two bottles. The small charcuterie plate was a great pairing with the wine. Staff was very knowledgeable of the wines, vineyards, and area. We were also lucky enough to enjoy live music on a Thursday afternoon.”
“The Bacon breakfast burrito was great. However I prefer my bacon a potatoes on the crisper side so next time I'll have to remember to ask for that but the green sauce was perfect.”
“The service was actually really good except the Taco lunch needs to come in a box for takeout instead of a bag. I ended up with quite a liquid mess on my hands and my jeans.”

“We found this food truck on one of our Idaho to Oregon (and back) travels, now we stop every single time!! Probably the best find EVER!! Amazing tacos, the Sopes are some of the best I’ve ever had, Birria and pastor are my favorites, but it’s all SO GOOD!!! If I could rate this place more than 5 stars, I would!!”
