“Had a birthday party for our co-worker, and none of us had eaten here before. Don't let the outside deceive you. The inside is very lovely and adds to the ambiance. I think we got a little loud, as the main dining area isn't really sectioned off. They are finishing off truffle season, so we got two orders of their truffle fries. The beef shank with amazing creamy potatoes was awesome. Their seafood dish was also very good, though the sauce could have used a bit more of a kick. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Corkage is also reasonable at $20. Waiter was great and even did some table magic. Great experience.“
“The staff was so friendly and helpful. Tristin, our server, was there whenever we needed him and made the experience what it was. We spent some time after the food catching up and it didn't feel like we were being rushed out of there. Will definitely return“
“I love this place! The concept, the food, the drinks, the service, the games, and the super dope gaming table in the back are all great reasons to visit B&V! The first time I went here a few years ago, the bar seemed a bit more centered around the idea of being a spot for people to just chill, or get together with their friends to play tabletop games. It's such a wonderful idea, and that "third place" is often so hard to find. Unfortunately, my friends and I have been visiting a lot less frequently these days. The place is still great, but it's just so incredibly loud. I can't hear myself think, and I can't hear anyone trying to talk to me. The echo is painfully loud. The back room also gets very noisy, which makes gaming difficult. The music back there is usually too loud for gaming even when it's not crowded at all. I really do think it has the potential to be a great place for beer and wine lovers, AND tabletop gamers alike, just needs some fabric sound dampening panels or something. I just really miss going here, but it feels inaccessible nowadays.“
