“Ordered a ham early for Thanksgiving and was expecting chaos when picking it up. But the line wasn't very long and everything was orderly and efficient. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes with a tasty ham I didn't have to cook. Everyone really enjoyed the ham at our Thanksgiving table.“

“Easily the best burger in the metro area. They make a smash burger but like anything in Portland. That is not true. It is an almost smash burger more like a pressed burger does not have the lacey char or anything that makes a good smash burger. Also second best burger in Oregon. Junkyard is better. No this burger does not compare to smash burgers in Los Angeles.“

“I go in regularly to this bustling deli for borscht soup, cabbage rolls and feta cheese pies. They have great sandwiches that locals come in for while I am eating my borscht in a cozy table with big windows to peer out of.I drool over the cakes beautifully displayed. You can buy whole and most by the slice for a nice birthday or Valentines day, any occasion. Lots of specialty items like piroshki. Vegetarian choices as well. I feel good about supporting these hard working families unique to our community.“

“This is an OG Portland business going strong since 1978. If you like your cold cuts nitrate free and cut to order, then this is the place for you. Be sure to grab a number and a basket near the door before heading back to the meat counter! It's a small place, with a European feel. Bring some patience if you go on a Saturday. It takes time to slice orders, but there are also at least five or so staff to help you. Just breathe it in... literally, because it smells so good! They have delicious cheeses and breads, Milka chocolate (and other goodies), and a small selection of locally made desserts. There is a sit down area for eating the various sandwiches and sausages they offer from their deli. Cold drinks are on hand, even coke from Mexico with real sugar. Wines and beers are available as well. Do not come here if you are looking for low fat or vegan options! You have been warned. Everything I have ever tried from Edelweiss has been top notch.“
“It's our local neighborhood go to.. for us that are 21 & older only, type establishments, with in walking distance close by our home. Weather or not we're there with a little, or a lot of cash to play the lottery, eat, or just to purchase a pack of cigarettes. We are treated kindly, every time. “This was our first time, and the food was delicious! We had the chicken fried rice special. The chicken was well seasoned and tender, the rice was toothsome and perfectly cooked, and the egg rolls were freshly fried and tasty. The service was friendly and fast. We will definitely come here again!“
“Decent place. Would recommend. Convenient to get banh mi without driving to SE Portland. The bread is really good and the marinade on the meat is tasty. I personally like the grilled chicken over grilled pork only bc the pork had too much fat and tendon to my liking. A little more pickles veggies would be nice. But otherwise, tastes great! (: Their Vietnamese ice coffee is made strong too, which is a plus for a caffeine addict like me.“
“Rebekah does an amazing job. She runs this place like a pro. Shes nice and on top of things. This dots is so much cleaner then the other dottys I've been in before. She knows what shes selling here, where the guy in hillsboro didnt know what Jack Daniel's was. I do property management for a living and she does it well.“
