“I’m very confused about all the negative reviews. We just left from our lunch date. We ordered a couple customized burger combo meals and some tacos. When I say our meals were fresh, they were FRESH! Super hot, flavorful and beautifully presented. My hubs said the burger tasted like it came fresh out of the garden. The sourdough bun was perfectly toasted, lettuce was crispy and FRESH, tomatoes were fresh, fries were piping hot and TASTY! The kitchen and lobby were SPOTLESS. We even told the staff how delicious our food was and thanked them several times. This is how a fast food joint should be. Oh, and we waited about 3-5 minutes, that was it. “Since they're situated at a gas station, I can't give them full marks for "atmosphere," but they do the best they can. however, the food and service were both outstanding. “We live near the French Quarter food cart pod and Taco Express is a cart that we frequent every time we come (and that's often)! “The entire place was GORGEOUS. The cocktails were delicious, not too sweet but with many flavor notes. Our server was an absolute peach and kept our drinks secret as we tried to surprise each other with cocktails. “The tacos are really tasty (though I have only had the al pastor and chicken), I imagine the others are good as well. The Keto tacos are unique being a fired cheese shell, and are really good. The guacumole is chucky and plentiful both on the side or with their tasty nachos. The Mexican fried rice is a combination Spanish rice and Asian fried rice, very different and good. The burrito takes 2 hands to hold, it is big, also flavorful. I highly recommend eating here, I do at least once a week. The owners are also really nice people!“
“This is the greatest burrito in all of Oregon. I was lost and now I am found. As soon as I took my first bite a single tear formed in my eye, tastiness like I had never known surged through my body. I tried to take a photo but we ate the burritos with such speed that it was simply impossible. The food, the salsa, the atmosphere and the service was the best of anything I've tried in all of Oregon. Please do yourself a favor and go to Taqueria El Paisano.“

The Mexican food was prepared fresh and the service was speedy and the host and hostess acknowledged my presence right away with a smile. “I've been meaning to go here for awhile because I always smell it on my 7-11 runs and it smells amazing. I got the birria burrito and it was so good I regret that I took so long to try it. I ended up eating my leftovers for lunch the next day and had to fight off my coworkers. The consomé was perfect just spooned on top of each bite (I know I'm supposed to dip it, I'm a birria newbie). The owner also recommended the melon agua fresca and it was a surprise hit - it was refreshing and the perfect amount of sweet. I can't wait to return and I look forward to being a regular.“

Good prices only 2.00 per taco, the tacos had so much meat in them! The birria was so tender and spicy they were delicious. The asada and carnitas were good too. I would definitely come back!“

“These quesa tacos were surprisingly small , I've ate at many birria spots and this has been the smallest . I originally got two because I usually get full with 2 but these are mini quesa birrias . So my suggestion is to double up on your usual order because this order was small . They are also 3$ each for these mini tacos .! Mine didn't even have lemon but my partners did so he gave me his . He was also surprised by how small they were . The agua frescas were delicious . Overall the food was good . The consomé lacked a bit of Flavor . But I added my red salsa to the consomé and lemon. Also you have to actually ask and pay for the consomé as it does not come included with your tacos . Which is odd. Would I come here again ? Definitely not . There are better places to eat . This place was just conveniently close.“

“I’m in a rut! When I visit HV Food carts, I make a beeline to Fuego All Day (FAD). It’s the Birria Tacos with a side of House Queso and chips. The birria tacos always hit! The queso (with or without the chorizo) makes the meal complete. I’ve been to HV Food carts when FAD was closed for a catering event. Don’t get me wrong - the food’s good, but it was not the Birria tacos from FAD! The only thing missing tonight was the roasted hot pepper! Thanks for the consistently good food!“
