5 stars all around for one of my favorite Portland stops for a wonderful fish meal and Happy Hour wine. We ate in the bar to take advantage of happy hour. The menu is solid if you are eating light. Next time we'll go all in and dine in the restaurant. Usually order the Trout....yum yum.
I have been here often, not as regular lately. This time service was OK. Our waiter didn't tell us specials or ask if we wanted bread. Food wasn't as good either. I had French Onion soup, except it didn't have onions? My salmon was good and the green beans with carrots was excellent. Have to think before spending this type of money for an just OK dinner.Previous visit.It's one of my favorite restaurants in Downtown Portland. I sat at the bar, and the service was great. My server had a lot of knowledge and was able to answer all of my questions about the menu easily.Unfortunately, they were out of my first two choices for dinner, so I ended up ordering the Lobster Tails.
