Cute restaurant and bakery in a repurposed house. Had a lovely brunch with friends on a Sunday. I had a waffle, which was good but not exciting. My companions all had different egg-based dishes and were all ecstatic with their choices.Service was friendly and helpfulOn street parking only
Nice people, cute little place. My biscuits and gravy breakfast was good and hot. Eggs were overcooked and black. Gravy was alright, biscuit was really good. So was the bacon and the creamy potatoes which are just scalloped potatoes if you were curious. My friend got the 4 cheese Scramble which wasn't very good or appealing. Lots of good things to say about this great place, but I'll focus on one. Quiche. Most places that serve quiche are essentially serving frittatas with a crust. Quiche is meant to have a custard texture with the ingredients layered on top of the egg, not blended throughout -- and all within a buttery pie crust. A good quiche is heaven, and so hard to find. Mehri's Cafe and Bakery does quiche right, and that's a rare treat.
