Portlandcitygrill - thank you so much! The General Manager was so friendly and welcoming! We were very lucky to spend some time UP at the Portland City Grille and experience the amazing views of the river and city. The grandkids thought it was very cool to be up soooo high! Thank you! Hope to spend more time with you!
The view is amazing but the food was not worth the price. The shrimp were overcooked. The scallops tasteless. The best part of the meal was the salmon and they didn't break the bank buying it. But I sure did. The drinks were subpar. Highly disappointed after all the talk up.

If the food was 30% cheaper, I'd give this restaurant 5 stars. The crab cake was excellent, but the chopped salad needed quite a bit more dressing and was rather bland, though the ingredients were high quality. Both of our entrees were good but not great, and mine should have been warmer. The complimentary (80th birthday) cheesecake was quite good; I'm a cheesecake purist, don't want anything on/in it, but this one, some kind of praline/browned butter situation, was just as good...read full review
