OMG BESTIE BOO’S, THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD LIKE COME RIGHT NOW IVE BEEN TO THAI AVE A FEW TIMES NOW AND IM IN LOVE VERY SIGMA ?✨? a more proper review; I recommend this Thai restaurant it’s very nice and kid friendly, the fried rice, wonton soup, pad Thai, their curry’s, and Thai tea. I highly recommend this Thai restaurant if you are looking for good Thai food, costumer service, and my little sister who is food picky and she approves as well so I would consider this kid friendly overall 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is probably the best thai food you’ll ever eat. Good costumer service too. If you want to eat thai this is the place to go.

Thai Avenue (TA). Has wonderful service and the best Thai food I have had in Portland. I highly recommend if you haven’t been here yet.

I arrived at Thai Avenue to order take out. After I ordered, it took approximately 20 minutes, so I was able to examine the restaurant. It was decorated nicely. I sat at the bar. The server was neither friendly or unfriendly. I got red curry, which was watery and fairly flavorless. It was adequate at best. My friend had me buy him Yellow Jungle Fried Rice and Khao Soi. The Yellow Jungle Fried Rice wasn't all that Yellow, but it had excellent flavor. The Khao Soi had a great flavor and the liquid portion of the Khao Soi was much better than my Red Curry. The cost was $45.50 for the two of us. Street parking was available.Vegetarian options: Their Tofu is OK.

I am a bit of a Thai food snob. In the many years I have lived in Portland, I have been consistently disappointed with the Thai food spots around town. Thai Avenue opened up and so I went in for a late lunch. This is some of the best Thai food I have ever had. Fresh and very good. The owner has a great story. Yum.

We had an outstanding experience on our first visit. The food was great and the service even better. Look for the "TA" sign, as the signage doesn't clearly show that this is a restaurant. Strongly recommended for good, affordable Thai food.

Really lovely Thai spot. Probably the best offering in the area. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for good Thai food in South Tabor. Decent prices & portions!

These folks need to be appreciated! They use gluten-free soy sauce in their dishes so many are safe for GF needs unless other gluten ingredients are on the dish. My wheat sensitive (not celiac) Mama looooved having great authentic Esan style Thai food without needing to worry about a gluten reaction. Our Pad See Ew was perfect with that delightful wok char and the green curry was deliciously spiced and complex. The pad Thai was a massive portion and the shrimp was perfectly tender with a great balance of sweet, savory and tangy. The online ordering system works great and the owners are super sweet. You can customize almost every dish with proteins, spice level, and sometimes more. White rice is even included in the price of curries for free!We were shocked to see the place completely empty on a Saturday evening when the food was so incredible. They're pretty new and I'd really love to see them thrive!Dietary restrictions: Good for those with wheat sensitivity!
