A solid 3.6 Four months open now, it was the WW that had me cancelling Din Tai Feng and coming here instead. Husband and wife team at the helm-- was told by kind server that he is fluent in Vietnamese?!? What----- he must certainly have lived abroad. The space is exquisite-- best looking Viet joint I've ever been in-- the menu stationery and rice paper overlay so gorgeous-- Oblation worthy. The food here is amazing— loved being able to get some northern Vietnamese dishes that are less common at many of the Viet restaurants in PDX. They also use tons of Viet herbs when many other places use only cilantro, or mint. The service was lovely and the decor reminded me of the lovely new restaurants and coffee shops in Hanoi. We will definitely be back!!Vegetarian options: Veg and vegan options on the menu.

I am from the North of Vietnamese and it is hard for me to find a Northern Style Vietnamese food here in US because 90% Vietnamese restaurants here are south and middle styles. Finally I found ittt so happyyy. It tastes like Im home noww. The food here might be bland for you especially the Beef pho because northern style is less seasoning and it does not come with Hoisin sauce or some herbs like basil or bean sprouts like South and Middle Pho.
