The oxtail soup was very warming and hearty. It's very similar to the oxtail soup that can be found in Hawaii. The Indonesian coffee is great too although there are no free refills. There are a ton of great vegan/vegetarian options here.
Wajan is one of my favorite Indonesian restaurants, and Portland's best in my opinion. The salad with sprouts, tofu and pineapple, the fried chicken, and Beef Tendang are incredibly delicious. There are five excellent sambals to add to entrees. Interesting coctails and great service. So good!

Warm and inviting. Casual and fun. There are many more adjectives I can use here, but here it is... if you like burmese/Thai/India flavors and smells. Wajan is that Indonesian mix of it all. Amazing food. Great and friendly staff. We had half the menu, and it didn't break the bank. I highly recommend Wajan and will be returning for the other half of the menu.
