“I miss coming here and I am so happy to come back here! It feels so homey to me and I love that so much. My auntie passed away not too long ago so I just come here to enjoy some home feel like comfort food and esp the side dishes I love so much and dol sot bibimbap is always my favorite. Feels like home comfort food! Sorry I was so hungry I was eating it! Haha“
“He is a one-man shop but his food is a comfort to my kids! They love his curry, karaage, tonkatsu and his croquettes that he sometimes packs for us! It may take some time since he makes things on his own but, like his former place on 12th Street, the owner is very kind and courteous to all of his customers. He is expanding his menu slowly to bring back favorites and to try new things so it's always a delight to check in and see what he has to offer.“
“Tried Manna for the first time today. They are currently doing take-out only, but said they hoped to be open for dine-in sometime in July. We placed a to-go order and they brought it to our car when it was ready. Quick and friendly service. The food was great and they recommended the citrus sake mojito (can also be made virgin). It was fantastic! We will definitely be coming back.“
“Amazing mom-and-pop restaurant that is my go-to for fresh sushi. Super casual and family friendly with amazing staff and sushi. Normally I'd skip a place described using the words "affordable" and "sushi" but that's exactly what you get here; amazing sushi at an affordable price.Definitely order the "Bubble Bubble roll"!!“
“This is my favorite Sushi track in town! You can pull plates off the track or order to your table. The plates are very affordable and the cost makes it easy to be adventurous and try new things. The front of house staff are friendly and helpful.“
“I have been to many Chinese restaurants around South Salem and on the edge near Keizer, and this place has stood out to me as the best one yet. I'm not sure how it could get better. The food is as excellent as the prices and portion sizes are. The people are quite friendly and seem to remember their customers, even if you just barely started becoming a regular. It's not been very busy whenever I've been in to pick up take-out or eaten in the restaurant, so it's always been a quiet place to enjoy a meal.I'm a big lo mein and fried rice fan, and it's quite hard to find a place that does both so dang well. Everytime I try someplace new, I just wish I had gone here instead. Aside those dishes, the all-day combinations offer some great choices but #2 with the Chicken Sub Gum and the Sweet and Sour Chicken is amazing as well. The SOSC coating is unlike any other version I've ever had. It's thinner and crispy, not puffy and bready. The Chicken Sub Gum was wonderfully savory and full of veggies, much like the Lo Mein which has a large amount of bean sprouts and a good amount of mixed veggies, same with the fried rice.I should also mention that the fried rice is not too soft, isn't overly fried with enough soy sauce to darken it too much like so many other places do...every dish I've had here is perfect (when I add my own preference of soy sauce to the finished product). They know how to make excellent food and do not skimp. I will say that I have forgotten what a certain nearby restaurant's food is like, but I know that last time I had their food last year, it was on my list for favorites. If I can update this review later, I will, but for now...This place is honestly the ONLY place I will go...even if I have to travel 15minutes to get there.Give this place the business they deserve!“
“This food is amazing. I went there and watched the gentleman make my sushi rolls. He even made my son something off the menu. The service is friendly and the food is amazing. The sushi was great! The place was super clean and cute as well. This has become one of my favorite sushi places!“
“My new favorite place. Wow. Been driving past this place for about a year. One of my co-workers got some to-go for lunch and it looked delicious. I picked up dinner on the way home and holy heck that was some of the best Bento I have ever had. Will definitely be returning and telling my friends“
“I haven’t been here in so long, I just stopped by to enjoy this. I loved the people who served it and made this as well. It’s been so long since I ate here. I came here to eat after dealing with the loss of my Aunt. RIP. Thank you for making this a cozy experience and all! I deeply appreciate the food and all!Sincerely,Yumi Nhung.“
“The sukiyaki is excellent, either steak or chicken. They also have a veggie version with tofu and another with shrimp. It's a food cart inside the beehive pod, limited parking (about 30 spaces), but plenty of seating at picnic table style. 3 large tents with heaters, fire pit, about food carts and a beer place.“
“the timer on their website has always been accurate for my orders, and it's super easy to use. plus the sushi is damn good for being as low priced as it is.Vegetarian options: there wasn't much, but it was CLEARLY MARKED on the websiteDietary restrictions: they have options for all possible allergies when it comes to their dishes, and you just mark it offParking: it's a small lot right outside the business, but the drive thru helps keep that mostly empty“
“This is the ramen spot of choice for our family. They have a good variety of ramen options, but also a nice selection of non-noodle-based Japanese foods to try as well. I usually end up getting beef donburi, and my son gets a char siu pork bun and some gyoza, while my wife and daughter always get some sort of ramen. The service is usually pretty good - sometimes food takes a while to get out of the kitchen once ordered, but we've never been left waiting for too long.Their ramen is good - nothing super fancy, but it's well made and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. I like their donburi bowls, and their gyoza are delicious. their char siu is great - not to salty, lots of fat, but a decent amount of meat too. Portions are a little small compared to other places in town, but we never leave hungry.Overall, this is a great place, with a good variety of Japanese comfort foods, a great staff, and a cozy, comfortable dining room.Parking: The parking lot is shared with the adjoining businesses. the layout is kind o bad, but there's enough space, and the spaces are large enough for your average SUV.Kid-friendliness: They're totally willing and able to make "plain" ramen, which is pretty universally loved by even the pickiest of kids. This plus a Hello Kitty themed strawberry soda is enough to win over just about any squeamish kid.“
“Fabulous little eatery in the strip mall! We had the curry chicken and the katsu chicken. Portions are generous for the price and each plate comes with fermented chili crisps similar to sanbal oelek. Owners were very nice and personable. Food was very good and we will definitely be back!“
“For like a decade, this place has consistently been one of my favorite places to eat. I don't mean in Salem, just flat out globally. The family that runs the place has always been super chill, and I've never failed to have a positive interaction there. I feel like a bit of a jerk, that I never left a positive review for them, or really anyone before. And while I've just been enjoying their food, and skipping the reviews, a hand full of mega Karen's have been driving their reviews down with nonsense like punch cards, calling the wrong location, and not liking the RBF on the guy running the counter. Come on lady, neither of your Facebook friends want to hear you trash talking this fine establishment. 11/10 - would crush another yakisoba, while mocking entitled crybabies.“
“4.7 out of 5. My new Sushi go-to this side of Salem! Despite the rice being slightly over cooked somewhat, (this could just be preferential), the food was superb! Service was good, friendly, and helpful. Atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. It was everything I wanted out of a conveyer sushi bar and then some! Whether you just like the basic cuts or like me you have a taste for the more exotic fair, this is a great place to come and eat at!“
“Their Rainbow Roll is super generous! I am used to those only being meat and rice! The Cowboy Roll was a surprise favorite! Never thought to combine mango with sushi tempura, but goodness it is sooooooo good! The girl whom assisted me and my Mom with our order was super kind and very nice! Will definitely be back again soon!“
“Great food. I ordered the spinal tap, salem roll, and shotgun. They were so fresh and tasted delicious. The restaurant was clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly and greeted us upon our arrival for pick up. Momijis by far is the best sushi I have had so far.“
“1010 Best Sushi I’ve ever been to. Definitely high-quality ingredients. The taste is outstanding. It just doesn’t get any better than this. The place is beautiful and every waitress here is so kind and always a smile. I’ve been a customer here for years, and I simply won’t go anywhere else. Please try the Michigan role!“
“The sushi was great. It was in a cute little shop style. Dining in was cute. The only downfall was that they didn't have any standard drinks. All their drinks seemed to be in a maket style fridge. They had Japanese soda, canned soda, and bottled water. I think they serve tea, I'm not sure. That was my only issue with the place, which isn't a big deal.“
“I can’t remember the name of the employee but he was very kind. I asked for a side of meat for my son and he said that it was going to cost about $8. I told him it was OK and I would just share with my son. He still brought out a side of chicken for my son. He went above and beyond, and I really appreciated it. The food is also amazing!“
“I really like eating there because the meat in the dishes is fresh, soft and juicy. The salads are very healthy. My favorite dish is the Young Young Bowl. A pleasant and clean atmosphere. The staff is friendly and funny.Kid-friendliness: fun and healthy dishes, large portions for adults and small, fun portions for children“
“I just wanted to drop a quick line to say how amazing J’s Teriyaki is, I order almost every day on Door Dash and not only is it sooo delicious but they actually show appreciation for their customers. I had a couple of incidents where extra teriyaki sauce was accidentally left out of my order and to make up for it they sent me an entire bottle! They are always putting roses in my order and including thank u notes. Not only a fabulous Restraunt but fabulous people as well!!!Ali J“
