“I moved to Bend nearly 2 years ago and before I even moved, I was looking up the best beers/saisons/sours/drinking establishments and found Funky Fauna on many lists.

So I swung by, drank a couple of their offerings and loved the whole experience.

The taproom is cozy, eclectic, and welcoming.
The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging.
The drinks are exactly what I'd expect from small-batch saisons: "weird" combinations that all work very well together.

Joining their mug club was a must after that first visit. I don't make it up to Sisters very often (it's not that far, it's just that I'm still exploring everything the area has to offer and my home base is Bend), but I almost always stop in when I am in town.

“Every part of my experience was a fail. I requested 8:30 pick up time. Notification came in before 8pm that food was ready. Text I received gave an option to reply. I did 2x's and I tried to call. They DO NOT accept phone contact, stupid. Old cold food was waiting when I arrive. They tried to push that off on me. uh uh. Host offered refund, I explained I was hungry. Host engaged manager said they could redo my order in "3 minutes". Said they would get me new food and refund. I waited 10 minutes for... what looked like the same brussel sprouts that had been tossed into the deep fryer, they were hot but also greasy, limp, burnt and bitter. There were no solid pieces, only large pungent leaves. The "balsamic reduction" was stright from the bottle, thin and clearly not "reduced". -The "roasted beet salad" is false advertising! The beets are a tiny pile of little cubes obviously from a can, no "roasting" involved. The dressing advertised as blood orange was not. Maybe a mustard vinaigrette but I had clearly been given back the same sad salad that had been sitting around and after one bite I tossed it too. I guess they get away with this type of food since they primarily rely on tourist trade but since this was on Mother's Day and there was only one table in the pace occupied when I was there, they apparently don't get the locals business. Also, No Refund received.”

“I booked my comedy show last minute at Sisters Depot and I'm glad I did. It was nice intimate and classy. I highly recommend if you're in the Sisters, Bend, OR area to stop in. I hope to come back.”

“Definitely one of the best spots in Central Oregon. We love stopping in for a bite with our kids in tow or catching an awesome concert. Most recently 38 Special. The food carts offer a nice variety so everyone can find something they want to try. Never had a bad meal there and the staff had always been great. The new Annex is awesome as well and worth checking out. They have done a great job of getting some good music talent in there which make a great date night spot for us. Highly recommend General Duffy’s.”

“A chain of Phili Cheese Steak stores, with one in Portland and West Linn. This is the only one I've eaten at so far.
What impressed me very deeply was that the clerk who took our order was very, very kind and made us feel like we were at home. I hope the boss can cherish this employee. I ordered the signature Cheese Steak. I thought the meat and cheese were delicious, but the bread was not fried properly. It felt like it was just slightly heated in the oven, which even made the inside of the bread feel wet instead of dry. of. But overall it's delicious, but it's just not as good as expected. I'm not from Philadelphia, but I've seen some great cheese steaks that are fried with butter until crispy.”

“This afternoon I stopped into the Dutch Bros in Sisters. Asked for a Large Hot Kicker and a Dutch Pup I was struggling with my phone and had cameras in the passenger seat that almost fell to the floor and swung around to get the Dutch Pup to Jovi and Misplaced my Wallet. After looking for it, could not locate the Barista said don't worry about it, the order is on us. Wow so amazing!! Alot of Places would
not do that, Thank you Dutch Bros!! You Are Amazing!!”

“We love stopping in at the taphouse to catch a game on tv. What we really love is on nice days we can sit on the patio to watch the game with our dog. The food is great with options for everyone. Make sure to check out their specials menu for seasonal specials. The halibut ceviche is delicious.”

“Called up and asked about biscuits and gravy. Initially, they were unsure a few moments later, and they said it would be no problem.
Have mobility issues at times, I asked if they could bring it out to me, and they were more than happy to. Actually, it was the cook that brought out my food.
I feel they went above and beyond for a delicious meal.”

“Our favorite place to stop for a burger, milkshake and ice cream. The owners are super nice (and dog lovers). Our dog loves their pup cups and is always welcome. We usually stop by once a week during the summer. The order line is always long, but their friendly smile, excellent customer service and great food makes the wait worth it.”
