“Best hibachi place in all TOWN ! Will recommend to everyone I know, staff members are always polite, a big thank you to Anthony for being our server tonight. Very attentive and friendly ! Will be coming back soon. The place very clean and well organized.“
“Nice family run local place. Food is tasty, fresh, and inexpensive, and there's a huge variety on the menu.We tried a few dishes including Mongolian beef, a combo plate, Vegas sushi roll, egg drop soup, fried rice and egg rolls. The bad: the Mongolian beef wasn't very spicy and the interior of the egg rolls was a little lackluster/mushy. The good: basically everything else. Good flavors and textures, fresh vegetables, nothing too oily. It's obvious a lot of care goes into the food here. The service was prompt and the food came out very quickly. The place is clean and simply decorated; nothing fancy but a pleasant atmosphere. Overall if you're hungry and in the area I'd highly recommend this place.“
“Our first time in. Had the Bao and Veggie Tacos. Both had really great flavors and presentation. Sat at the bar and tried several of the creative cocktails. All were good and very non-traditional. It seems the owner really tries to be creative with just about everything. Sat at the bar as they was the only place left. No hostess. Another patron said we just needed to head upstairs. I’d come back if they added more vegetarian options as it seems they have their flavors down :)“
“My wife and I were craving sushi late in the evening for some reason and we knew there would be no hope at 10pm. Of course any place worth going would be closed by about 8pm, but oh my God we were wrong!!! This restaurant stays open late and the food was amazing!!! You can tell by the taste of their sauces like the spicy mayonnaise that everything is made in store! I had the tofu poke bowl, and was not expecting at 10 o clock at night to get such a Beautiful, great tasting serving of food! My wife was raving about her sushi burrito as well! The service was great too, the order taker took his time and gave us suggestions since it was our first time visiting. I can not wait to return, it will not be so late at night next time, this will be a great date spot! Thanks so much to everyone involved in this amazing experience!“
“Subo has the most amazing sushi burritos. I live in Southern Oregon, but always make it a point to stop when traveling to our through Eugene.Subo has a few locations and this was my first visit to this location. The food was the same as the others, but the restaurant itself was dirty.Vegetarian options: Many vegan or vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: They are able to adjust your order based on your needs.“
“Sushi is something you don't want to take chances on. That being said, I have gotten sick both times I ate here. Which is really sad because it is a cool atmosphere. We did not have a reservation, but we did get seated within 20 minutes of waiting. Service was very slow it took a very long time to even get our drink order taken. I wish they had what sauces were added to rolls and more descriptive roll information as well as bigger images in the menu. There are a lot of sushi options in town. I will not be trying again due to getting sick for a second time.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free menu option“
“This is the date night option of choice for my girlfriend and me- they’re open late-ish (for Eugene), and have very pretty, tasty cocktails that make dinner feel more elevated. The decor is not too fancy, but the place is clean and everything is in good repair. The portions are gigantic, and the food is delicious, especially for the price. The chicken teriyaki meal is like $17, and is more than enough for two people if you’re also ordering appetizers. The fried tofu is my weakness- it’s always hotter than the surface of the sun, and tastes like they change their fryer oil out regularly. The tuna tataki is a must-try if you like seared tuna- they put what I think might be radish sprouts on it, which was a new flavor for me.There’s one waiter there who is just ridiculously attentive and fantastic at his job. I hope he likes working there, because I never want him to leave. He’s chipper, helpful, and knows exactly when to come refill waters. I suspect he’s the best waiter in Eugene. The rest of the staff there is excellent, as well, I just had to praise whats-his-name for his top-notch service.“
“Our food was delicious and absolutely gorgeous! Service was very friendly and knowledgeable. I do wish they had more seating. we had to sit outside where huge trucks and tons of traffic made having a conversation difficult over the noise. Parking was also a nightmare.“
“Food was good service was good but not great. We were sat next to the door and felt pretty ignored but that didn't bother us too much. However other patrons in the restaurant were very loudly making ugly comments about us for no reason we could tell. We were very quiet and to ourselves. Not the best experience unfortunately.“
“Seaweed salad was the best we ever had! I recommend the ranibow poke bowl or tsunami roll. Both dishes were delicious and spicy. The restaurant is beautiful. When our food came out, I was surprise how it was beautifully presented. Wish we gotten our sever name. She was very helpful and took very good care of us. Definitely got our craving for sushi fixed. We will be back soon!“
“After a long day of travel, we came for dinner. The restaurant was very busy and Charlotte went above and beyond to assist us in getting food and drink quickly. She was able to bring my dinner in stages because she could see how Hangry I was after nine hours of driving.. I’d come back here again just to have her wait on us.“
“I come here more often than I like to admit. The sushi is pretty good, though I only get things with cooked fish. The jiajiangmien needs to be stirred immediately or the noodles get hard and stick together. The topokki is good but I feel like the amount you get is too little for the price. The kimchi fried rice is awful. The space is very cold, literally and figuratively. I have sat here for an hour or so before but it's not comfortable, I feel like they purposefully bought uncomfortable chairs so you don't stay. I can't remember if there are outlets, again I don't stay because the vibe isn't the best.Very little street parking.“
“This is my favorite moving sushi bar in Eugene. Thet are always happy to make you any roll that's not on the belt and the service is always friendly and Accommodating. Try to save me a seat if you make this your new sushi bar ?Parking: Pay To park curbside if you're lucky or across the street in the paid lot“
“Very happy to finally have found some decent Japanese food. A bit thrown off by the fact that the menu also holds Korean foods but it was also quite good. I wish more tempura was offered for the price and that my chicken had been grilled instead of mixed in sauce with veggies. But the service was really good and quick, and they were able to substitute my sushi rolls in my bento for more rice. Overall, definitely want to come back to try again!“
“I've been to a couple of the conveyor belt sushi places around Eugene. I like this one the best so far for at least the service and the made-to-order sashimi. The sashimi portion sizes are fair, and so far, I've not been disappointed by the plates on the belt. Fair price for the food served.Stop by if you're in a rush and just want to sit, eat, go.“
