Food is tasty, fresh, and inexpensive, and there's a huge variety on the menu.We tried a few dishes including Mongolian beef, a combo plate, Vegas sushi roll, egg drop soup, fried rice and egg rolls. The bad: the Mongolian beef wasn't very spicy and the interior of the egg rolls was a little lackluster/mushy. The good: basically everything else. Good flavors and textures, fresh vegetables, nothing too oily. It's obvious a lot of care goes into the food here.The service was prompt and the food came out very quickly. The place is clean and simply decorated; nothing fancy but a pleasant atmosphere. Overall if you're hungry and in the area I'd highly recommend this place.“
“We ate at Sizzler for the first time yesterday and we enjoyed it. Not only was I able to eat grilled shrimp but also tasty spaghetti and grapes. My gf had steak and Italian herb chicken which she really liked. We will definitely return.Parking: Easy parking.“
“Great local spot for seafood, good service, but a but challenging to order at the counter and eat there... limited seating inside, with crowds waiting around you for their orders, some seating outside on the patio which is much more relaxed. We had bowls of the chowder and seafood stew.. both great, but the chowder was better. We tried several taco versions and all were awesome. Parking is a challenge as the lot is small and crowded, but the lot across the street has Marketplace parking and was much easier to navigate.“

“Came here with friends for our anniversary dinner we had a great experience. Friendly service, food was delicious. You need a reservation, it's a small intimate place very cozy. Highly recommend it for special occasions.Ribeye was cooked perfectly, nice crust, paired well with the red blend.Roasted beet salad is the best salad ever.Salmon special was cooked perfectly very flavorful,good size portionsBread was soft and warm.Chocolate creme brulee was to die for.“
“The only thing wrong with Newman's Grotto is the indoor seating shortage for cold and rainy winter days. There is ample outdoor seating for when it's nicer. The food is excellent! The service was great! If this isn't your go to fish and chips spot, you're doing it wrong.“
“best Chinese restaurant in the area, hands down. great STICKY white rice and they don't put f-in peas and carrots in your fried rice! i don't know what's up with the other Chinese restaurants in town, they all add carrots and peas, and their rice is meh.. nothing worse than bad rice and overly americanized Chinese menus imo.i just wish they would come out with a LIGHTLY battered orange chicken and general TSOs, that would be money!“
“We traveled up to Eugene for a little getaway this weekend. We stopped in Roseburg Friday, and then stayed at a super cool little cottage in Eugene Saturday. Where we stayed was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! It was within walking distance of so many places to eat and drink! I had a list of like 29 places to go, so I think a much needed girls weekend needs to happen here soon. One of our stops was SūBó Sushi Burritos -South Eugene because that was the one thing I had never tried in my life- a sushi burrito. Jon ordered the Samurai with avocado, and I ordered the Volcano because I love spicy stuff... I didn’t try his, but mine was beyond amazing! The freshness of the salmon poke, crunch of the pickled onion and jalapeño crunches, the heat of the spicy tuna and spicy cream cheese... I honestly could hardly stand the habanero sauce! BUT SO GOOD!“

I decided to go and get a take out order of the #1 with crab and shrimp. first, the decor is outstanding. very clean and decorated well. you feel relaxed when being in the building, upon getting home, I started eating the food, and I was blown away!! very fresh, tasty, and it filled me up completely. I will be visiting again soon, and what really made my day, and let me know that the food is so good, is someone in the restaurant was dancing with happiness from the taste of the food.“

“Seaweed salad was the best we ever had! I recommend the ranibow poke bowl or tsunami roll. Both dishes were delicious and spicy. The restaurant is beautiful. When our food came out, I was surprise how it was beautifully presented. Wish we gotten our sever name. She was very helpful and took very good care of us. Definitely got our craving for sushi fixed. “Went out for dinner here for the first time despite having lived within 30 minutes of the place for years- my whole family is wishing we'd tried it sooner!The place was packed (dinner hour on a Friday night!) so we were a bit worried that would result in a rushed kitchen or super busy staff, but we were blown away by the quality of the food, attentiveness of our server (I'm so sorry I can't remember her name) and the overall experience. Our server was happy to answer all of our questions and checked on our table regularly, and our food arrived very quickly.The jalapeno poppers are a must-try appetizer, they're made to order, crunchy and fried fast so the cream cheese is still cool on the inside. The rest of our meal included onion rings, the honey mustard chicken wrap, a burger and a bowl of clam chowder, and we all left happy and satisfied.We will definitely be coming back and recommending it to anyone we know!“
