“Great experience. Very welcoming to us and our 2 year old. Another family with a child there. Busy on a Saturday night but got us right in. Nice atmosphere. We ordered a burger with fries, fish basket with onion rings and the kids mini corn dogs with tater tots. Tge only disappointment was the fries, they were limp and soggy and not seasoned at all. Onion rings were amazing. Glad I added extra fish, will be having a great leftover lunch tomorrow. Wife says the burger was cooked great. Thanks, we will be back!Kid-friendliness: Crayons and coloring mat provided immediately. Very friendly.“
“Staff was friendly & attentive! Food was fresh and delicious. Only hiccup was the electrical box sticking out in our booth.Overall great place to eat if I'm ever in the area again I will eat there!Dietary restrictions: I have a shellfish allergy and they made sure my food was prepared separately! Very accommodating.“
“What a great place. We stopped somewhere else and they were closed. My daughter found Beachwood on here phone and we thought let's try it. The burgers we had rate a 10 and the hand cut fries were just like the good old days. Our family will for sure be back again. Wide menu selection with daily specials, you won't be sorry giving this place a try!“
“The food was great and the prices were acceptable. The atmosphere was that of a bar (a couple of noisy, tipsy chicks behind us and a very noisy guitarist. All of that would have been fine if we had gone in to be in a bar to drink and prowl, but we were looking for a cozy dinner spot for good food and talk.“
“This is a good food option in The Dalles. It's located in the Shilo hotel on the river. The view is nice. The menu is Cajun American and the gumbo and jambalaya are legit.Service gets 4 stars because it can take a long time to get your food; however the service staff works hard while you wait for the food. So, it seems the hold up is in the kitchen, not with service. Staff is friendly. It is also a little pricy; $20 for 6 beignets seemed too much, but I don't know how much effort goes into making themOverall, it's a good spot, especially on a beautiful day.“
“Tina and I took a leisurely drive to The Dalles today. We took the historic highway from Mosier to The Dalles, and it was beautiful. I wanted to find a new place to eat, so I checked on Google Maps. We didn’t even know that this place was here. You probably wouldn’t find it if you weren’t specifically looking for it. We drove past it the first time and had to turn around. It’s hidden off the road behind another business. The food was awesome and the service was exceptional. I would highly recommend this as a destination dining experience.“
