“If only someone could figure how to get Russian food right! Oh wait, these guys just did! An innovative take on Russian cuisine, modernizing it while staying true to its essence. We had a very enjoyable experience here. The staff were great, offered insightful recommendations and were very professional. The food was amazing. The lobster olivieh (on the special menu) was a star! The Zakuskis both hot and cold were amazing. The wine list was great! You can't leave without trying some vodka obviously. The ironic Soviet decorations were spot on! I've included some photos here. I'd highly recommend this spot!“

“We get to experience a lot of the Portland dining scene and we're grateful for that. Every once in a while a place hits different. The food is good, sure. And the drinks are good too. But in Portland for better or worse you're going to get pretty good food and good drinks. The places that hit different have a little bit of magic in them. It's the food. It's the drinks. And often it's an incredible, perfect mix of context and hospitality. We got to experience C'est Si Bon on a night that was our anniversary. The kids were at home with their grandparents. We were in no rush. We were ready to experience a new restaurant. And we just happened to luck out that John, the owner, took care of us. He took us on a tour of his menu, both food and wine, while regaling us with stories from a dozen years in Portland food and beverage and another decade in France. Chef was on point. John was a delight. And we ended up having an experience we couldn't have reserved and would've been unreasonable to hope for. It was a human experience, sprinkled with incredible food and wine along the way. We feel like we just discovered a not-so-secret gem of the Portland food scene a decade after moving to town. “We'll be back” feels like the understatement of the decade. Thanks John and Chef!“

“Boy, do I wish I lived closer to this spot! I would 100% be a regular. I would come in after work a few days every week and wave hello to the staff, order up a small froze, a cheese platter and then maybe follow it all up with a cup of soft serve after thinking for a LONG time about whether I wanted it sprinkled with beet or chai dust. Here's what I actually ordered on my first and only time at Cheese and Crack: 1. A small froze. This may be hard to believe, but I had never had a froze before. It was a good thing this was a small, I don't love overly alcoholic tasting drinks, this one felt like a slushy, pink and easy. 2. A cheese platter for two with a brulee torched brie, a delicious cheddar, three kinds of crackers that appeared to be all homemade and a ton of side accompaniments, like cornichons, olives, apple butter, mustard and chocolate ganache. 3. A dish of soft serve with beet dust You can sit inside OR outside and watch the world go by. Everything was great and did not break the bank.“
“We have been dining at Gilda’s for 6 months. Thank you to our friends Linda and Paul for introducing us to this wonderful restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious. It is a family owned restaurant and the pride of the naturally sourced ingredients is very evident. Everything is made in house. The service is exemplary! Go, you won’t be sorry!“

“You've got to check this place out. Amazing mocktails, beautiful art, great selection of totally nostalgic '90s kids snacks, Pop-Tarts, muddy buddies, but seriously, what an amazing hangout spot. Comfy, cozy, and everyone was really friendly and “
“This is one of my favorite places in Portland to meet girlfriends or friends. They have the most amazing wines and excellent prices. They have wines from all over the world here. They also have a wonderful menu of very tasty items to enjoy with your wine. I look forward to coming to Division Wines when I am in Portland“

“My wife and I had a fantastic brunch at Ovation. Try the Bloody Mary - delicious! I had the Eggs Benedict and my wife had the Pancakes. Both were expertly prepared. Romano has created a cute comfortable café experience where he treats his guests like family. We enjoyed the great meal and the experience and we'll definitely be back.“
“My partner and I come here every now and again, the server Tia is always so friendly and patient with us while figuring out our drinks and the comedy shows on Thursday nights are hands down the best and most well curated “underground” comedy in Portland. 10/10 would recommend if looking for a great taproom.“

“The staff was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The cocktails were also excellent, loved the Penicillin I got. The decor in the building was also fun, but the downstairs bar was a bit humid, muggy, and was hard to be in. So we spent our time “

“There are no half stars, so I feel odd about the 4. It was better than 4 but not a 5. A traditional Japanese restaurant on the ground floor of an office building. The warm wood furnishings blended nicely with all the glass frontage. Counter service for sushi, as well as small private dining rooms that I definitely want to check out on another visit. Murata's service, ambience and *most* of the food we tried were stellar. Not quite 5 star for us entirely because of the rice served along with our meals. I ordered unaju, served in a 3 tiered set of dishes with a light salad in one, 3 good sized slices of unagi in another, and the driest rice ever served at a decent Japanese restaurant in the third. I needed every bit of the kabayaki sauce to make it even partly edible. Sent most of the rice back with other empty dishes. My dining companion commented that we should bring baggies of our own rice cooked at home next time. My dining companion had a combo set of salmon shioyaki plus sushi. The salmon was nicely grilled and flavorful. Luckily the sushi rice is not the same. All the fush cuts were excellent. The hotate (scallop) as well as the shimaaji were excellent. A slice of fresh cantaloupe rounded out the meal with a light freshness. The price was very reasonable for the service and quality of food (rice excepted) and we will be going back and likely trying to get sushi counter seats.“

“I had one of the best dishes that I have ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth. Upon the waitresses enthusiastic recommendation (she seemed really excited about it) I went with the Boscaiola with pasta instead of ravioli. Every bite I took I closed my eyes to just enjoy the explosion of flavors. Hands down best food ever. Highly recommend but don’t forget your reservation!“

“Service from host, server and manager was excellent. Friendly and efficient, food coursed in a timely manner, but not rushed, great wine offerings. We shared many small plates and loved both desserts, pb&j, panna cotta. Will definitely be back to eat the other half of the menu“
“first time here and i really love this place, it has such a welcoming vibe. the staff is knowledgeable of their wines, friendly and nice. You can tell the owner really puts in the effort for the ambience of a this wine shop. At the entrance there are multiple games you can chose from to enjoy your time. I will be coming back again. My advice is just take your coat off and stay awhile.“

“I've been a little delayed in my reviews. I may gorget the name if some of the cocktails but will remember the food and service. This place was great and amazing. A very short walk from the train stop and a very nice setting. There are two side this place. I captured the dining area as this was where we were seated. The food was delicious and the drinks were not watered down. Service was great.“
“I highly recommmend this place. Really great for a small group going out for drinks and entrees; or a cozy intimate date. Excelent classy atmosphere, music and decor. Nice selection of drinks and cocktails including some fancy ones. Good selection of cheese plates, and Katie and Juan-Martin at the bar will prepare any cocktail you fancy. Entry door a bit hidden: enter the Loyal Legion, head for the kitchen, and the open door to the left with no sign and going downstairs will take you there.“
“Stopped in while staying in Portland for a few days and found this treasure. We had a happy hour glass and came back the next day for 4 bottles. Jeffery gave excellent recommendations and was clearly loved by the local regulars. We will certainly return on our next trip. Thanks Jeffery!“
“Love this place! The by-the-glass list is ever-changing and never boring. All the ciders & wines I’ve tasted there have been smashable, and the owner is a great guy. They also have an awesome selection of fun ciders and wines by the bottle so you’ll never get bored.“

“Great pho with better than most cuts of meat. My wife got the pad thai and said she enjoyed it very much. Would recommend to friends. They were also very nice to my 2.5 year old daughter and were considerate enough to bring a small bowl for her to share some of our food with.“
“My fiancé and I hosted our wedding proposal at Enso Winery and we couldn't be happier. Ryan was extremely accommodating and organized during the planning process and helpful on the day of the event. Between the venue, wine, and charcuterie, all of our guests left impressed and happy. Definitely won't be a stranger to Enso!“

“What a lovely establishment with beautiful details and a welcoming and inviting vibe. From the chocolates on the counter to the carefully chosen tins of fish, to the friendly bartender and the delightful rose. Bar Botellon is a gem, where they really make you feel like you're the only customer in the place. This is my new favorite stop for a glass of wine and some delicious handmade tapas (try the marinated cheese and the sardines!!!!!!) I will be back!“

“I came to Hops on Tap to see a band perform. As a concert venue, Hops on Tap does a great job! The band sets up in a large area in one of the "main corners" of the venue, and all tables have a good view. The interior is also very brightly-lit, which is appreciated. There are shelves with lots of board and card games, and several patrons come regularly to enjoy music and play games. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and you may see a radio-controlled R2D2 make an appearance at the end of the night. Food is serviceable, but is nothing noteworthy. The soft pretzel is clearly a SuperPretzel, and a lot of what's on the menu, and things like napkins, etc. appear to come from Costco. Not that there's anything wrong with this, of course, and I'll probably opt for something different than a sandwich on my next visit (perhaps their "scratch-made" soup). I was very happy that Hops on Tap offers Kombucha on-tap as well. Parking is very simple as Hops on Tap is in a very large shopping center with its own equally large parking lot. If you want a good place to see live music, Hops on Tap fits the bill nicely!“

“This is the BEST COFFEE SHOP in all of Portland!AMAZING drinks, decor & ambiance, soft classy music you'll almost want to dance to on the open floor, separate cool table areas, loads of privacy -distanced sitting areas, SHUFFLE BOARD, all the flavors for coffee, I think that's a business catering area room.. business classy yet also CASUAL!“
“Highly would recommend. That sums up the experience. The owner behind the counter is a gentleman. He knew his taps like the back of his hand. He was of the upmost polite despite my "ignorance". This place is welcoming. Now the taste of the beer on tap, #10 was good for a wheat beer. There are many options here for all enthusiast or people looking for whatever their pallet is keen to.“

“For sure this place is a hidden gem! Amazing food, small menu, fresh ever changing. Im not going to remove a star because I still love this place... however, they used to have the best cocktails ever!!! Like amazing came here almost every week to indulge. There bartender Tina left and now the cocktails are not worth spending the money on. Their name is wine and growl so I will have to shift to drinking wine here... although I can have wine at home but what I cant do at home is make those amazing speciality drinks.“

“This is the spot. Full, lively, definitely seemed like the place to be if you're into wine. We paid a lot for a pretty small lobster roll but it was tasty. We really need to try the other food. Our server was really helpful with trying to figure out what to pair with our taste and food.“
“Very friendly. Their butter caramel’s are delicious. Nice selection. They have a lot of variety packed into their home storefront. I will go back !!!Wheelchair accessibility: No designated access parking, there is a threshold at doorway which would be somewhat difficult for wheelchair users to navigate. Showroom floor limited and would be difficult for electric wheelchair users to move around in.?“

“Such great service. It was pi day and they served pie so of course we had to get some. It is rare for any bars to serve a sweet treat at least in the area I live in. I love that they had three options. Perfectly decorated wine bar with an upstairs loft area.“

“This is such a quaint and upscale place for an evening in Downtown Portland. Our sommelier engaged in an enlightening discourse about the origin and production of our wines and the Pacific Northwest food scene. Charming service. Serenaded by his lyrical Brazilian accent, we enjoyed our evening learning about wine and local foods.“

“My good friend Renee and I had an enchanted evening at Domaine Serene where we had the pleasure of trying their ambitious new menu which is now available to the public. The new menu has been crafted in collaboration with iconic, local Executive Chef George Morris, of Bos Taurus and Nomé notoriety, and features creative wine-inspired cuisine with a French bistro flair, and notable Pacific Northwest ingredients. We had been eagerly anticipating the new menu launch event, and it was a memorable and magical experience with every course. Our multi-course dinner was exceptional, and the world class wine pairings were curated with thoughtfulness. Some of our favorite dishes included: Amuse-Bouche // Shigoku Oysters on The Half Shell w/ Blood Orange ‘R’ Rosé Granita, & Yuzu Kosho. Beef Short Rib Bourguignon // Creamy Polenta, Root Vegetables, w/ a Red Wine Jus. For me, the culinary star of the show, and probably one of the best dishes I’ve ever had: The Steamed Foie Gras Wontons A rich, delectable creation framed with a Smoke-Forward Shoyu, and Aromatic; Miyagi Chili Oil, Hints of Mint From the Shiso, and the citrus notes from the lime accentuated the strengths of the dish with a delicate balance. With their exciting new menu, and added team members, now is a great time to go experience the serendipity of Domaine Serene for yourself.“
“Met Kerry for the first time today and enjoyed his wine and life wisdom along with DELICIOUS WINES! The hour or so we spent together was superb! The wines are perfectly priced—and we Highly recommend this tasting experience! Still, If we were in a “higher income bracket” I am sure we would have purchased several cases! We picked a few favorites and will definitely come back’“
“Super cute spot in Westlake off the beaten path. The wine is wonderful and the owner is so nice and accommodating. My husband and I dipped really quick while our son was at basketball practice, and she was doing a wine tasting event, and even though her event was full and we didn't have reservations, she encouraged us to say, and I'm so glad she did. We learned a LOT about wine that night, and we got to take home some delicious new wine.“

“Google stated the closing time as 6 pm, but it was 4 pm. However, the barista was still there chatting with some folks. She was happy to make me a latte despite it being well past 5 pm. Sitting on the porch in the sun, I was drawn into a friendly conversation with other guests. The place -- including its bathroom -- were spotless and really friendly. The latte was good.“
