“Don’t sleep on this gem. I was pleasantly surprised how good it is. I recently had to greatly alter my diet to heal a stomach ulcer and mitigate recently discovered food allergies, (related issues). I came to the food trucks in West Linn with my husband last weekend and figured this ✨healthy✨ food spot was my only option, jealous of his wide open options. I ordered the most basic of chicken sundaes with soy ginger chicken, quinoa mix base, coconut shreds, avocado and veggie broth. I prepared to not really enjoy it, as has been the case lately with my limited options. Was I wrong. I am writing this review a week later, enjoying a DoorDash delivery of the same exact thing at my kitchen counter. It is a new go to and am so happy I found it. Thank you Chop Spot for shining some sunshine on my life again :)“

“Just stopped in omw to the max. So glad I did because airport food can't even come close. Got a frittata that was filled with fresh greens and yummer potatoes. Also got a rhubarb turnover that was crispy and flaky and just everything a turnover should be. Then there was the cold brew, the first sip made my heart beat faster and sent my taste buds to coffee heaven. Everything was perfect, I wish the hours were extended so I could come more often.“

“My family and I thought we’d give Wei Wei a try as many people recommend it. We tried noodles, dumplings, scallion pancakes and a meat dish but it was not our thing. The only thing all of us liked were the scallion pancakes. The place was busy though so give it a try.“

“This little breakfast cafe is stellar. Great location right off of i5. Super clean, friendly staff, and delicious food and drinks. Here are the highlights:Love the kolaches!!! The kielbasa one is my kids favorite.-I ? the honey spice latte.-There is an awesome toy corner and I saw the owner wipe them down after some kids played with them.-Also has a great big table that would be perfect for a study group or coworking session.Vegetarian options: The sweet kolaches were all vegetarian, and there was an egg and cheese kolache that was vegetarian as a savory option.Dietary restrictions: Clear communication about allergens was availableKid-friendliness: Great toy corner!“

“This was my family’s first time eating at Mestizo and we were not disappointed. I have Celiac and my daughter has a severe dairy intolerance. For once, all 3 of us were able to order several dishes to SHARE! This never happens at restaurants with our many dietary restrictions. My non-GF/DF husband loved everything, too. Note: the entire restaurant is 100% gluten free and Celiac safe, but there is dairy present in some of the dishes. However, it was very easy for them to accommodate us by taking an ingredient off, etc. Our favorites were the fried shrimp, elote, fish tacos, and the chicken tinga tostados. The drinks were also amazing. The waitstaff is attentive and kind and our food came out super fast, but still incredibly fresh. The flavors are what put this restaurant over the top for me. Everything had a very specific (delicious) flavor that made the dish special. Do NOT miss out on the GF gem! (I suggest getting a reservation for weekend nights and possibly even weekday night.) My family and I cannot wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: 100% dedicated gluten free restaurant. They also serve several vegan and vegetarian dishes. Dairy free is easy to do here, too.“

“Gosh this stuff was so amazing! And tasted so fresh... there wasn't anything I didn't like about this! Only 11 dollars or a giant meal! I ate it for lunch and dinner that's how much food I had left over, 2 servings worth no doubt. The woman at the register was so sweet and wore a smile the whole time service was quick and easy to say the least! And eatting this outdoors on a bench really ties it all together“

“My friend and I were so happy that there was a place to sit and chat that wasn't a bar. The tea is very unique! Served in liter tea steepers with the cutest little glass cups that allow you to hold the very hot tea but not have it uncomfortably hot to your hand. Selection was limited to their own blends but we weren't phased by that. I had a Lotus, jujube and ginger blend. It gave me really weird dreams!Food not rated because I didn't have any, but the menu of dumplings looked good enough that I want to go back and try!“

“Lots of good things to say about this great place, but I'll focus on one. Quiche. Most places that serve quiche are essentially serving frittatas with a crust. Quiche is meant to have a custard texture with the ingredients layered on top of the egg, not blended throughout -- and all within a buttery pie crust. A good quiche is heaven, and so hard to find. Mehri's Cafe and Bakery does quiche right, and that's a rare treat.“

“Best cupcakes in SE Portland. To the owners, thank you for such an awesome cake shop. One little request. Please make some non-vegan GF cupcakes. And only super fine oat flour if possible. I've found the only good wheat substitute in baking is oat flour. It's so soft and tender and aside from color is very similar to wheat. Rice bases always taste like mochi. Especially those GF donuts people make. Anyway, give it a try sometime. I think you could start a GF revolution. ❤️“

“This place is a gem and one of the best restaurant values in Portland in my opinion. For $50 we can get dinner for two with enough leftovers for lunch the next day for both of us, and lunch another day for one of us. The quality of the food is excellent and the service is top notch. We’ve been eating here for years and they’ve always gone above and beyond!“

“Delicious food and drinks, punctual staff that was proffesional and friendly. We had a reservation for 5:30p and arrived around 6 following a wedding ceremony. When we arrived the tables were set in 2 long rows for 32 guests and we had 20. We had a special menu arranged for the wedding party of 3 options for dinner, 2 choices of salads, and 2 choices for dessert. Drinks were tasty and there were extra tables for gifts and the newlyweds to sit out front and address the party. Would highly recommend for special occasions. Delightful experience!Parking: I have a full size long bed lifted pickup that fit great in the parking lot. Plenty of spacesKid-friendliness: We had a small wedding party upstairs in the loft that has a good view of the Clackamas River, Vaulted cielings, and it's own waiter station.“
“First time at Eb & Bean. We ordered from the staff pick menu: I had earl gray in a cone with a yummy berry topping and my hubby had the purple cheesecake in a bowl with an assortment of toppings. I loved mine beginning to end and my hubby was enthusiastic about his but he lost interest towards the end - he thought his toppings didn't taste good with his yogurt. Anyway, it's a cute place with a good amount of seating and big windows to people watch.“

“Hands down the best vegan pizza I have ever had. Sizzler’s vegan pizza is just really crust, tomato sauce and toppings. Most places can’t get the cheese right. This place does the vegan cheese so well - the texture (the stretchiness and the chewiness) of the cheese is just like dairy cheese. After turning vegan, I had the rare craving for pizza (not meat really) and this place is perfect for that. The ice cream was also excellent.“

“Their Thing is EVERYONE can eat here, right? Well, I stumped them. BUT! They pulled through for me! Gabe in specific went through the protein items and sauces one by one, because I have an allium allergy (PITA, that) and found everything had an allium of some kind. So instead of turning me away? He offered to make me something special and even threw in one of my favorite little tart fruits to jazz it up: cranberries! All the stars for this place and especially Gabe!Dietary restrictions: Dairy Free, Gluten Free, and I also have an almond and allium allergy to boot (iykyk) and they still came through for me AND it was delicious and filling.“

“My partner and I have been fans of Pastini but had not eaten at the Bridgeport location. There was a nearly hour wait to get seated on a Saturday night, but boy was it worth it. We got excellent service from Ina, who was friendly, willing to answer any questions, and prompt in delivering our food. Prices here are excellent for the value of the food you get. Their pesto is some of the freshest I've ever had, and I fell in love with the meat sauce pasta that my boyfriend ordered. Even better was the soup of the day, which was a bacon corn chowder, that I'll definitely be craving for a long time. For dessert, they have a few good options that they typically offer at Italian restaurants, and we'd highly recommend their gelato. The restaurant was nice and clean, simple but comforting yet classy. Excellent experience here and we plan to return for sure (we just hope the chowder will be there when we do).“

“We tried BHP bc Hot Pot City was closed. Oh my. What a treat! If, like me, you are heartbroken that HPC closed, BHP has been waiting for you. Instead of AYCE, they bring out a mass of food. Plenty of beef and beautifully marbled pork. There was a basket of cabbage and bok choy. A tray w tofu, clear noodles, enoki mushrooms, meatballs and tofu sheets. Never had them before and they were quite tasty. And, the handmade noodles!! We had the split half spicy, half regular broth. My brother eats chile peppers whole. He could handle the spicy. I love spicy but next time I will go regular and dip in chile oil. The broth is very tasty even before you start cooking. I wish I saved room to drink it all, but we were stuffed. You could easily feed three and enjoy potsticker and more veggies. We will definitely be back!!Parking: BHP is setback from the street, in the back of the parking lot.i had a navigator who directed me. I would have passed it.“

“4 stars for the beer. Family member said beer was pretty dang good and it’s impressive what they’ve done and how they’re 100% gluten free. Although I wish it was clear on their website that this is a “limited service restaurant” (I.e. order from your phone at the table and very limited contact with staff other than them bringing your food to you). I understand if they do not have the means to be a full-service restaurant but just wish it was clearly stated on their website. A Gastropub is supposed to be a full-service restaurant. As someone with celiac disease, I rarely get to go out to dinner and was looking forward to eating at a full service restaurant (not a 5 star fancy place necessarily but at least just given the service that usually comes with food priced as high as it is) We drove from Vancouver, Wa and were a little bummed. Beer was great though ?“

“We recently dined for our Wedding Anniversary. I tasked my husband with selecting a spot we'd never been with great food and a casual atmosphere. While he would've happily taken me to an upscale establishment, we simply wanted to celebrate in a laid back way. He made reservations to sit in the bar and they were very accommodating. We ended up at the bar, which we prefer. The atmosphere is very unique with a lot of beautiful wood. The structure is what I think is an old house and includes quaint outdoor seating. Had the temp not been in the 90s, we would've definitely sat outside. The Bartender was friendly and helpful with menu selections. I enjoyed a martini and my husband chose wine. We began with crabcakes which were flawless! The Caesar salad was wonderful as well. It included more of the leafy part of the romaine where I prefer the hearts but small thing really. Our shared entree was Alaskan halibut which was prepared simply and beautifully. We were treated by the house to a small lava cake, topped with high quality vanilla ice cream and fresh berries and it was delightful! All in all, we would definitely return to Baird's on B. We could tell that many customers were regular locals and I can see why. What a cute place to be able to walk to. On a sidenote: a group of young ladies, under legal drinking age were seated at a table nearby and they ordered various mocktails. We watched the preparation and these drinks were works of art - including fresh muddled fruit. With a growing trend of adults choosing to forego alcohol, nice option!“

“I think I just had the best experience someone can have with a pizza shop. I ordered food for a couple hrs in advance for a party and it ended up coming to my place in a normal delivery time, not the time of the party. I was hesitant to call the shop because that is an easy miscommunication and they deliverd the food in a timely manner. However, I thought, what could it hurt? When I called, I was greeted kindly and the worker listened to what had happened. She then got her manager Will and he IMMEDIATELY solved the situation with an attitude of "how can I make your life as easy as possible". He surprised me with his kindness and that led me to leave this review.Thank you“
