“Very good sushi spot. Went with my wife on a date night and had a great time. The waitress was patient and answered all our questions when we tried to get away from the basic Cali roll. I tried raw sushi for the first time and it wasn't bad. We did try some of the Cali rolls and they were great and well balanced. Usually you get a bunch of cucumber and a little crab, but not here. Everything was delicious and the staff was great. Check them out.“

The food comes out as it is finished which makes the dining experience a little disjointed as one person's food comes first, then a few minutes later the next and so on. I know this can be difficult and I like the food so much that I am not dinging them at allThe interior is very nice and clean and it looks good. The chicken is always perfectly cooked, the veggies are so fresh, and the rice is just amazing. It comes with a salad and soup which are both outstanding. I've gotten sushi a few times too and they just impress me every single time. A true hidden gem. Every sauce I believe is homemade- and they do it perfectly. Honestly, I cannot recommend them enough. “I went here with a crew of 6 to celebrate a special day, and it was a really good experience! By no means am I a sushi expert, but I am not a newcomer either and to me it was pretty great experience, especially the tempura shrimp on the mango shrimp roll.. We ordered the Party Platter D which came with 64 pieces total comprised of Alaska roll, tuna avocado roll, california roll, spicy tuna roll, sweet potato roll, tiger roll, mango shrimp roll, and creamy crab roll. The mango in the mango shrimp roll was also a welcomed change of flavors. Lots of options. We ended up getting one of the family meals that really satisfied our group's stomachs and wallets. Generally it is a little expensive, but it's a local establishment that also doesn't have a liquor license to bring in easy revenue. On that note, this is a BYOB restaurant, which is pretty neat, allowing you to save even more on your overall price if you plan on drinking. I wonder if they would be willing to warm your sake for you? My only food recommendation (which I communicated to the open and friendly guy at the counter, is that the spicy tuna wasn't very spicy. Maybe now it will be spicier if they've had similar complaints since the time I went--probably 5 months ago at this point. Otherwise, my only other complaint is just that it's a small place--about 8 spots at the stylish wood sushi bar, and two picnic style tables that can seat 5 if you pull up a chair, so it might be a little tough to find a spot if you're going out with a crew.“

It’s clean, the tables are clean, overall cleanliness and order - I really appreciate this, a rarity in our region. Food is always excellent and I have never had a complaint about any of our choices. We went last week for my son's birthday. Food was excellent as usual for all choices of sushi and hibachi. This trip though the floors were sticking to our shoes all the way through the restaurant. Restooms could use a good corner cleaning. And surprisingly, after the meal we had to get up and go to the counter twice to get service to finalize our visit. It was a weeknight so while it was busy it was not over packed when we were there. Still excellent food, just hope the service returns to normal next trip as this was not our normal experience here.“
“I was so impressed with this Sushi place. They are located inside of the Assi food court. It was my son's 8th birthday and all he wanted was sushi. We could not find anyone that was open for dine-in. We arrived around 3pm after much searching and they were sweet and so kind. They rushed us out a huge sushi Platter so we would eat our ridiculously late lunch. All of the sushi was delicious but it was hands down the best prepared Eel we've ever had. So much so, that she plans on bringing her crew there for their next hang. I HAD to have the spicy tuna sandwich too-it’s still as delicious as I remember from quite a few years ago. My aunt had a beef teriyaki bento box from the bottom of the lunch specials list on the menu & she enjoyed that & everything else in the Boxed Lunch. I let her try my eel and the marinated daikon from the platter & she was surprised at how yummy they both were. Portions were generous too. The staff were very nice, and attentive. It's nearly always empty because people prefer to order out instead, so you can always dine in if you'd prefer!“
