“While we are visiting in the area we stopped at Marzoni's for some "snacks" and we're not disappointed! We sat at the bar and the bartender (Ashley) was EXCELLENT!! So friendly and attentive. She even tried to get the Cleveland guardians game on for us to watch! They had Moscow Mules on special!! I got the blueberry and my husband got the strawberry- both were so delicious! The menu had just enough choices to satisfy every craving we could have. I was having a hard time deciding and Ashley gave some suggestions - which were very satisfying! The crispy fried brussel sprouts with garlic aioli were so good - and such a generous portion! Both hubs and I loved them!!! I also ordered the panko breaded crispy deviled eggs - OMG - I've never heard of such a thing so I had to try them! Soooooo goooood!!!! Hubs ordered the loaded fries and barely talked the whole time while he was eating them so I know he enjoyed them!“
“Stopped in here on a recent Friday evening as Levity Brewing is currently undergoing renovations. They've got a cool vibe here and the bartender was quite personable; neat place. With respect to the craft offerings, in terms of Untappd ratings, they're not quite up to par with Levity and JJ Hadley, both within a stone's throw of the front door, but they're decent. In fact, my fave was an IPA that was actually a collaboration with Robin Hood Brewing. Support your local brewer and check out Railroad City for yourself.“
“In the area to visit family. Took a chance. What a jackpot. Fabulous experience from entrance to exit. The entire staff was friendly and attentive; couldn't believe how quickly the food and drinks were coming out. The atmosphere suggested this is the place to be for a good time in the area. Definitely "my place" while here and I don't need to try second place to know it's not even close. High praise to Matt and Diane for bringing their vision and energy to life in this community“
“Live Music & Drinks!!! This was our first time stopping at our local brewery! I'll start out with the staff... they are AMAZING!!! Super nice, let us do some samples of their beers and their drink "Cherry St." Was my absolute favorite made with their cream soda. We didn't get to try any food, so that will be added to my next review when we stop. Atmosphere was iconic, lights, crush velvet walls, barrel high tops, old brick & stone walls... loved it all! I even bought a hoodie to help support this small town dream come true! Can't wait for warmer weather when they open up the patio area at night...looks so glam! The gentleman singing did an awesome job...great voice!!“
“INCREDIBLE selection given the size of this place. Lots to choose from whether it's cheapies, classics or microbrews. Always something new. You can mix your own 6 packs and even buy singles. Center area always has hot deals. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Can't recommend this place enough.“
“Great setting in the revitalized downtown Altoona. Amazing food. I enjoyed the "Special Mushroom" pizza. This pizza isn't a micro dose, plenty of pizza for 2. The French toast stout is extremely flavourful. The sours were great as well. My server was friendly and helpful. If you haven't been here yet, stop in!“
