“Great Happy Hour! Amazing drink selection and apps. Great quality for the price. We go there a lot for HH then catch a movie at Ambler Theater across the street. Wish they would change the hours to 4:30-6:30 for their HH though. Movies are usually at 7 and hanging there for an hr before film starts is a bit of a wait.“

“Very nice inside! Two floors with bar, food and entertainment when they have live music. When it's nice out check out the upper deck seating over looking some of the town, super chill! Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area!“

“As always, the food was excellent. Our waitress was on point. Seeing the antiquity was awesome and it was well maintained.Everyone there, including the customers, were very nice and pleasant. “Went last week and had an amazing experience especially the assistance we received from our waitress and the pastry chef. I had the one of the special entrees of the day- duck breast and since I’m not drinking, their lavender lemonade was both cute and tasty. A little tart, but very lemonadey. My husband got a ton a stuff that I don’t remember, but he enjoyed every drink, appetizer ( it was a tuna bonbon special) and entree. I’ve driven past this place for years, so it was great to finally pop in. Added bonus, located in northwest Philly which is such an amazing part of the city.“

“Another wonderful dining experience at the Valley Green Inn. This time my party of four came for Sunday brunch. We were happily surprised with a complementary basket of warm mini muffins. Which went very well with our glasses of very reasonably priced and good dry white. Two of us had the crabcake sandwich with fries which was delicious. my other two dining companions had salads – one a beautiful quinoa, and the other a large salad with chicken, both of which they enjoyed. Now, the service! We were fortunate to get Tristan again as our server. He was a delight as usual with attentive and upbeat service. As I said, a wonderful dining experience – good food, good service, and the beautiful ambience of the Wissahickon . What could be better. “

“Came here for a Valentine’s Day tasting menu and was blown away. My partner picked the restaurant and I went in blind, knowing nothing. Incredible experience. The food was outstanding and made right in front of us. Max is a wonderful chef who worked magic to provide an incredible tasting menu by himself. Will be going back, and bringing friends.A very clear example of “you get what you pay for”.“

“Food was tasty and a good value. Staff were very nice. Looks can be deceiving when looking at the restaurant from the outside. It looks like the building used to be an old American dinner that’s a little beat up but once you enter you will be greeted by a clean restaurant with clothed tables and chairs. However you can still see some of the old diner inside so it conflicts with the Korean accents. Obviously not a deal breaker but I hope they invest for a modern remodel.“

“Augusto's remains one of the best restaurants in the area. I hadn't been in a few years, but the food is excellent, creatively prepared, and affordable. We had the specials, which were amazing ( lobster bisque—George Perrier's recipe, which I had years ago at Le Bec Fin-the duck, and homemade gnocchi). Delicious. Excellent coffee too ( too full to try dessert!). Very attentive, friendly service. We'll be back!“

“McMenimin's is a terrific, very popular neighborhood bar/restaurant. It can be noisy, but if you sit in the back room, the noise is not too bad. We were there on a weeknight (Tuesday), and yet every table was filled by 7 o'clock. The food is better than one would expect for this kind of place. The fish and chips, chef's salad with portobello mushrooms and plant-based "cheeseburger" were all excellent. And portions were huge. The server was very pleasant. The reasons why this is 4 stars and not 5: No cocktail list at all and just a few not-so-great wines by the glass. And the entrees were served way before we were finished with the appetizers. They must have thought we had to catch a train. If you don't mind being rushed like crazy, then you might give McMenamin's 5 stars.“

“If this is you first time, highly recommend the LAMB SHWARMA but... All their food is good...BUT THE LAMB EUUGHHH ? ? perfect. They allow me to get what i want on it(i get extra pickles and no tomatoes) and i allow them to coook it the way it's supposed to. Please try everything a I'm a very clean eater. My stomach has never had a hard time digesting thier food.Tell them its you first time and give them 2-3 chances and each time order something completely different. You'll love it by the second time. “This place was very good. This was our first time coming here. We had a very short wait which was a welcome surprise since it was a Saturday around noon. My son had the red velvet pancakes and liked it (he said 4/5). I had the braised beef Benedict and it was awesome. Great flavor and eggs were poached perfectly. Service was definitely 100%. Never waited for anything. You can tell all the people working here care. I highly recommend this place for a great brunch. I will be back for sure!!“

“My first time here. I met a friend for lunch. I had the burger it was really good. The place was pretty busy for a Sunday afternoon. I definitely want to come back and try dinner there's a few items on dinner menu I saw that looked good. Highly recommend it.“

“This place did a brilliant job of having very filling options on the menu that weren’t too heavy or calorie dense. This giant breakfast burrito was mainly filled with eggs and a little bit of refried beans. I left full but not feeling gross, which is a fine line to walk with a breakfast burrito.The lox and bagel was ordered by others at the table and it looked very similar - lots of of greens on the plate but they didn’t skimp on the lox or cream cheese. We all were glad to have picked this spot for our weekend brunch.“

“We first dined at Mallard about 3-4 weeks after they opened. This is a second time back and they are definitely on their game. The facility is beautiful, the service was on point, and the food was superb. Mallard is definitely worth the trip.“

Full capacity with a crowded bar does not need loud music playing! It was exceedingly difficult having a conversation with my partner, we actually gave up and people watched.Food was great! “I absolutely love heading to The Cage in Warrington for brunch. Their eggs smoked salmon and crab cake eggs Benedict are my favorites - they’re just delicious. “A wonderful 5-star lunch experience ! Coming back from a mid-day center city concert, decided to stop in @ Tavern On the Hill rather than MacNally's...SO glad we did ! Bartender Mackenzie couldn't have been better : super-efficient AND super-personable ! I've had many excellent meals here before, lunch and dinners, today was no exception. Straying from our regular menu favorites ( tough to pass on the always great burger or turkey'n' brie sandwich),we both had the same "special"...a smoked kielbasa/ kraut sandwich. Not an item I'd usually rave over, it was just perfect...the best I've ever had. Great kielbasa, nicely toasted roll, homemade-tasting kraut...and even a high-quality tasty brown mustard. You just won't go wrong here... where else would somebody rave about a kielbasa sandwich ??? Can't wait to return for lunch OR dinner...“

“So I moved to this area from Philly a few years back, and it's been like pulling nails to find a good go-to cheesesteak place. Panicos is the closest I've found for that.Panicos isn't the highest quality you can buy up here (that'd be wagyu cheesesteak from Capriottis). And they're not even the best at making a traditional one (Italian Delight). That being said, Panicos makes a serviceable cheesesteak for a good price. $11 and it's decent. Do they mix the cheese in with the meat? Nope...they do cheese blankets. Do they toast the roll? Nope, and the sandwich will probably fall apart halfway through eating it. But the steak they use is decent, and the price they charge is perfect.Those other places I mentioned are $15-20 for similar. Panicos is a great go-to steak place and I'mma keep going there. If they started charging $15 though...I'd switch to Italian Delight.“

It's closer to a sports bar than I like but not as loud so you can still have a conversation. Prices are a bit high and the servings are very big.“

The $5 happy hour cheesesteak is actually a really solid little cheesesteak.They also have some Brazilian food on the menu since the new owners are Brazilian. Rice, beans, steak, salad. Good stuff.
