“We love Spring House. The food, drinks and service are consistently top notch. Last night was a step backwards. We were greeted at the table by our server with bread and butter and asking if we wanted more than water to drink. In general the drinks took a while and so did the soup. We waited quite a while for someone to take the empty soup bowls and ask if we wanted a water refill or another drink. The soup bowls were taken when the entrees were served. There was someone nearby who was setting the table next to us but she was only interested a table that was still empty when we left. We remain fans of the restaurant and will be back but clearly not a good moment.“
“Lovely place. Nice atmosphere, good food and service. The accordion player on Friday night makes it feel like you are in Paris. For appetizers we had escargot and fried calamari, very tender. Beet salad was delicious. Our rack of lamb and seared tuna entrees were perfect. And the crepe filled with berries and topped with ice cream was a nice way to end a perfect dinner.Parking: Across the street and behind the buildings is a parking lot which is free in evenings.“

“Food quality and value was good. Restaurant had a high end feel. Only minor negative was when we arrived 90% of the restaurant was empty and we were told to sit at the sushi bar because they were expecting a wave of reservations. However by the time we finished our meal the restaurant was 80% empty so we definitely could have sat at a table. The menu has a lot of good options so we will definitely return.“

I must say this has been one of the best ones that I've had thus far. The steak was well seasoned, the sauce was spicy and had a good amount of vinegar, even the beans were very good. The only reason I can't give this place five stars is because my food that I ordered online wasn't ready until 30 minutes AFTER my pickup window ended. I'd recommend ordering well in advance and counting on a bit of a wait for your food, but I'll definitely be back.“

“It's not a typical strip mall restaurant. We decided last minute to go here and were pleasantly surprised. Arrived just after opening and initially felt under dressed, but after the owner greeted us, we quickly forgot our discomfort as we took in the nicely decorated room and tables. The menu has plenty of options, including a list of specials plus a few items he mentioned that weren't listed but may have been because it was the Friday after Valentine's Day. We opted for the Veal Parm. My husband got the Clams Casino appetizer, which he said was the best he's ever had. The salad with house dressing was packed with veggies along with the lettuce, and the house dressing was definitely not from a bottle. My barley soup was flavorful as was everything we had. The large piece of veal was sliced thin, which may have made it not as tender as it could have been, but I still enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the seasoned mixed veggies I chose instead of the pasta. The tiramisu is a cake version but very good. That and the chocolate cake do have a liquor flavor added to them, which is strong but not overpowering to me, but may be for some. We will definitely return to try something new.“

Started off with a humongous Bavarian Pretzel that came with brown mustard and a very delicious cheese sauce that I couldn’t stop myself from dipping my other food into. The French fries were freshly cut and very delicious and stole some of the table mates sweet potato fries which were even more delicious. Personally, I got the chicken sandwich that came with fresh cabbage and pickles that they laid a beautiful pieces of chicken on. The sauce was super good too, I wish I had asked for a little cup of it to dip my fries and sandwich in. It was that good! It came on ciabatta bread with the top bun having broiled American white cheese on. Wish I substituted the ciabatta for a brioche bun but it was still delicious. Friends said that their impossible burgers were tasty and delicious as well. But my last serving was EXCEPTIONAL because they were extra juicy and the juice they were cooked in was seasoned to perfection!! When the crabs are sautéed, it's hard to retain the juice ( since they open & clean the crabs for you). However, it happened this time, and the flavor of the juice took me back to my childhood and created such a moment that I called to compliment the chef the next day and wrote this review a week later!!“
