“Super cute and chic coffee shop! The coffee is great quality and they have many options. They also serve pastries, food items and different types of art. The owners were onsite, super hospitable, and attentive. The decor made you feel at home and they proudly display artwork from various artists on the walls. It’s really nice inside. I connected to the WiFi and got some work done as I enjoyed my latte and sandwich. The space is small but there isn’t a shortage of seating and there is still enough personal space to feel comfortable. I will definitely return.“

“So, I stumbled upon this coffee joint on 9th Street in the heart of Wilmington the other day, and I gotta say, it was a total hidden gem! Funny thing is, I've been walking past it all this time, but never really noticed it was there. They could definitely work on their signage game 'cause it's kinda hard to spot from the street. “Met a friend for breakfast as Apple Walnut Cafe was halfway between where I live and Swarthmore. It's a super cute diner-like atmosphere with very friendly wait staff and an extensive menu with all kinds of eggs, french toast, pancakes, and lots more. I enjoyed my blueberry pancakes and my friend enjoyed his eggs. It's a solid choice for breakfast and I look forward to trying other items on their menu in the future!“

“Wow, what can I say besides fresh and tasty. If you eat on the healthier side, this place is a great way to treat yourself. Healthy food cost more, I think the prices are actually pretty reasonable when compared to something of lesser quality. I’m usually outta there between $10-15 but I never only get one thing haha. “I came here because Blue Owl wasn’t open today and was completely blown away by the croissants and hot chocolate. We tried every croissant they had available today (chocolate, raspberry, cherry/cheese and plain) and all were top notch. I don’t normally drink hot chocolate but decided to try it based off of other reviews and it was also insanely rich. Id highly recommend ordering one and sharing it with 2-3 people as it is really thick and rich. Prices were spot on where they should be ($3.50-$4.00 for a croissant). Inside had plenty of seating. “Our new favorite soup and sandwich shop. Friendly and polite staff. TV screens in the dining area show videos of dogs and photos of local pets. It was a nice place to relax and enjoy our lunch. Sandwiches are fresh and made to order. We got the half soup-half sandwich combo. Very satisfying. We grabbed orange creamsicle muffins for breakfast the next day. “Charming Star Playroom was great, our son stayed for the entire 3 hours during the morning session and had a blast, at $13 it's a great deal to play and interact with other children within the age range of our son. The place is very clean and the staff are professional and courteous, we're planning to go back within the next week or 2 and also looking into joining one of the many events they have to offer on their website.“

“A very nice spot and would like to come again. Menus are along the wall in the front. I didn't think the drink special options were too interesting at first but I ended up enjoying my pistachio rose latte $6 a lot. There weren't that many pastries left, lots of bagels and croissants but not as many other things like tarts. The raspberry almond tart for about $4 had a very good bite to it. I would eat a huge one! Seating was limited, no wonder since the quality and price is solid! I liked the music taste as well. Didn't need to wait long to order or receive my order. Area is kept very clean. Need to pay for parking in the area, parking on the street with quarters is more worth it than paying for the lot in the back.“

The French toast was good, but the smoothie bowl with almond buttered toast was perfect. “Where to start!!! I happened to be at Upper Darby HS this morning doing a favor and decided to see what Yelp recommended near me. There were the usual (Tank and Libby's....Sabrina's....Kettle....etc), but I'm a common guy by nature and wanted to get back to my corner, neighborhood diner roots. All these fancy places starting me to talking with a Main Line accent when I grew up in New Castle.... lol.... This place showed up, and although there weren't many reviews, they were all excellent. Plus, looking at the pics, this was the vibe I was looking for. Walked in and was greeted by Patty and Marla. Within 5 minutes, they made me feel like a regular, when I had never even been there before. I ordered a cup of coffee while I checked out the menu. I NEVER would've expected such a great cup of coffee from a corner spot. It was worthy of La Colombe. For breakfast I decided to have the 2XL egg mixed grill. This included...... get this..... two scrambled eggs (i added cheese), home fries (I added peppers and onions), two slices of thick slab bacon, two pieces of sausage, two slices of ham, and one piece of scrapple and toast on the side....... All this...... for only $11.95. While I was eating this hearty, delicious meal, in walks the owner, Jason. Young man is doing the damn thing. Owns this diner and the mechanics shop across the street. Very personable. So many of our young black men are out there doing positive things like this and you don't hear about it. I'll tell you this. I live 40 minutes from here but I will support and promise to have my a** in one of those chairs at least once a month.“

“Stopped in to grab breakfast on the way back from Philly. It's a beautiful location with a very friendly and accommodating staff. We had lattes, a waffle, and a breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was good, the waffle was doughy and didn't have a lot of flavor. The lattes were decent. We hope to try it again sometime.“
